The Chi Chi’s Choice pizza was very bland. Not enough sauce and no real flavor. Very uninspired and overpriced(in fact the cost of the pizza wasn’t even listed on the website I found out when I picked it up). Save your money and go to one of the other fine pizza restaurants in and around Santa Clarita.

One of our usual take-out spots. Husband loves the spaghetti, kids love the pizza, and we all devour the antipasta salad… SOGOOD! It’s a little expensive for a hometown, family restaurant, but the food is worth it. As someone who utilizes their curbside, to-go service often, it is absolutely awesome. I call in my order on the way home from work, get off on Sierra Hwy and pull right in to their take out area. Their curbside attendants have always been beyond courteous… even when it’s miserably windy and chilly out. Great staff.

This restaurant is popular in Santa Clarita, but I’m not sure why. The food is nothing special, parking can be very difficult, they don’t take reservations(so if you have a large party you can be waiting for quite a while), the décor is unsettling, and it’s very loud and hard to hear. The wait staff is mostly friendly and competent, although when I attended a family member’s birthday party there earlier this week(this was her restaurant choice), we had to wait at least 30 minutes to order and then only saw our waiter sporadically after that. Overall, it was a frustrating dining experience.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I moved to Santa Clarita in the ‘80s. Good basic Italian fare, but what sets them apart from all others is the Pasta. They make it fresh in the restaurant, and it makes all the difference. It is cooked to perfection, not too soft, and never hard(because it is fresh). Service is efficient prompt. This is a great family restaurant and very affordable. They accommodate large parties, but be warned that parking is a bit of an issue.

It’s not fine dining and it’s not«hip», but it’s consistently good food and service. So, if you are starving and in the mood for a heavy Italian meal, you have come to the right spot. Your dish will probably not be low on the calories, but the portions are huge and the food will satisfy your hunger. I’m a huge fan of their eggplant parmigiana. It’s gooey, but not mushy. I eat until I’m stuffed and still have enough for a meal the next day at home.

Fresh spaghetti! It’s the best spaghetti I’ve ever tasted. I’m not to fond about their pizza, my family loves it though. Workers are friendly and always check up on you during the time you get there and the time you leave.

This is a great Italian eatery and what sets them apart is everything tastes fresh. - A lot of Italian places fall into the trap of going as cheap as possible and from can to table… Not here. Not that I’ve toured the kitchen or anything but whatever they do, it just tastes home made and satisfying. What ever canned items they use, they surely must jazz it up or use high-quality products because nothing tastes like your typical Italian joint where it just lacks soul. - Simply the fact that they showcase their kitchen with huge windows shows they take pride in what they do. - Why does everyone get excited about this place? Fresh, consistent and well priced food that always hits the spot with good ambiance and a nice attentive staff… That’s why. - I dare anyone to find a better meatball sandwich in the SCV…

I really don’t know why everybody gets so excited about this place. The pizza is just so so the pasta is just so so the pasta sauce is pretty good garlic bread is mediocre. Not my first choice for pizza and pasta, unless you want to wait online for a long time.

This place is amazing. Shells with meat-sauce is so good. Best pasta in Santa Clarita. Pizza is also delicious. Get the antipasto salad with extra cheese and extra dressing. Amazing! Go there tonight!

My family has been eating here for years! The food is delicious and the service is great! The salads, pizza and sandwiches are wonderful! The salads are fresh and cold! The meatball sandwiches are so flavorful! The pizza is a little greasy. However, the flavor makes up for it! Ask for Bobo to serve you. He is always smiling, loves people and loves working at Chi Chis!

We heard the Pizza and Chicken were good here at Chi Chi’s so we gave it a try. I ordered 1 large pizza well done and Chicken to go. Wow, what a disappointment!!! The crust was not fully cooked and it was LOADED with TOOMUCH cheese. Usually I love cheese but it was made terribly. The cheese literally fell off the dough when I picked up a piece of pizza. As for the chicken it was DRY and BLAND. I immediately called and spoke to the assistant manager Ruben Garcia and told him I wanted to bring back the food and he assured me my money would be refunded. Because it was close to 9pm I agreed to come early the next day with the food, When I arrived the following day with the food Ruben agreed to refund my money but gave me no receipt and said it would take 3 business days. Ruben said they don’t give refund receipts. I didn’t want to leave without my original receipt. Ruben said he had no way of issuing a voucher confirming the refund, He would have to do it later in the day because it was too early in the day. I gave Ruben my husbands name and phone no# to contact him directly. A day later he contacted my husband to come in with his debit card and we drove down again to complete the refund. The restaurant manager Freddy said he was only going to refund the Pizza for $ 20 and not the chicken. He said Ruben never mentioned the chicken to him and that there was nothing he was going to do about it. What a jerk! We will never go back again. $ 37 of INEDIBLEFOOD and way Over PRICED! The management Ruben and Freddy are SHADY and Untrustworthy. Beware!

My all time favorite place in scv. Pizza, pasta, everything here is great. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They make their own pasta and the pizza is some of the best I’ve had. It a time when corporations reign supreme and are killing the middle class, chi chi’s is king and feeds the working class!

It’s hard to see what everyone loves about this place. The restaurant itself needs a revamping. The food is way overpriced, 4 pieces of eggplant Parmesan will cost you around $ 14. The pizza tastes likes it’s frozen and it’s way too greasy. I just can’t see what all the hype is about. I will never be going back to this restaurant.

Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Their pasta is my favorite, it’s homemade! Spaghetti with meat sauce and fettuccine with cream sauce is so delicious. I love their pizza too, it’s just not my very most favorite. And something in their roll recipe has definitely changed in the last five years? They’re not as good as they used to be but still, I love coming here. I forgot to mention the salad– their cheese is crazy good!

I’ve been coming to Chi Chi’s pizza for more than two decades and I’m never disappointed. Recently, on the 4th of July, my girlfriend and I ordered a vegetarian pizza and salad. The pizza was loaded with too many olives but Bobo made it right. They have the most amazing Alfredo sauce and sourdough bread rolls too! Heart stopping delicious! Thank you Bobo! M&M

Went there for dinner tonight and ordered salad and appetizers along with dinner. During the appetizers I saw my daughter make a face of terror and I heard the woman in the booth behind us start to almost scream. Then my wife looked up to find a huge Black Widow spider in its web descending towards her head. This was one of the largest spiders I’ve ever seen for a Black Widow. We all jumped up and moved as it started climbing back up its web string. Holy Crap this thing was huge. So now that the whole dining room can see it and everyone is freaked out. Where was the management to fix it? Nowhere. Some guy at a different table came and swatted it and a huge web down to the floor then smashed it. So out comes the chef. WTF is he gonna do. So we ask to move and we get a different table. My wife and daughter were so freaked out they just wanted to leave. So I asked if we could just get it to go. So they brought out the food and THEBILL! Seriously? Your unsanitary restaurant could have possibly caused my wife a serious problem had she been bitten by this thing. And you don’t even at least cover our drinks or appetizers. IMO the whole meal should a been comped. This place is not clean and we will NOT be going back anytime soon. Disgusting! BTW, this was the Sierra Hwy Location, not the Soledad Cyn location
