After making our way through the produce/grocery jungle of Bharat Bazar’s inventory, we make our way to this place and find the door barred shut. WTF? For some reason they made it so that you have to go through Bharat to get to the restaurant. We’d seen the sign in the parking lot that advertised North/South Indian and Tandoor cuisine. This is incorrect. They only have baked goods and South Indian cuisine for the time being. Since one of my friends is a low carb kinda of guy we didn’t up eating here. Instead I bought a bunch of baked goods to go. Aloo Paratha, Aloo Tikka, Samosas and some other stuff I don’t even know but looked tasty. There’s a whole range of breads and plenty of sweets. Since the Samosas were cooked fresh we ended up eating them in the parking lot and they were quite good. As described earlier, this place is connected to the store next door and there’s a singular lady manning the counter here who is pretty nice. I’m sold on the baked goods so I’ll definitely return for those things and also give the South Indian spread a try when I’m with people who have less crazy dietary restrictions.
