Craving chinese and picked this up on the way home from work… will stick with Panda. Noodles were dried out and mushy, food lacked flavor, not fresh.

My first time here, they have very good prices and are very friendly. The food is very good and not greasy. The parking in front is kind of iffy but thats cuz its next to Jamba and Starbucks. All in all a great chinese fast food joint. Ill definitely come back again

King Chopstick is my ultimate, favorite Chinese takeout place in the bay area. I’ve been going here since I was 12, and it’s amazing how their food has tasted the same for the past 13 years. My family has ordered party trays from them for many family functions and have always been impressed with the overall taste and inexpensive pricing. There’s just something about their chow mein that always hits the spot, every single time. I also highly recommend their broccoli beef and general chicken, especially when fresh.

Great place for party trays. We ordered the vegetarian chow mein, the chicken salad, and the fried shrimp. These party trays feed plenty. Good price, and friendly service. They triple checked my order just to make sure.

I used to be a regular at this place at least once or twice a week. For being a somewhat fast food Chinese food place the food was good. My most recent experience I walked out of the establishment because they give me one price on ordering the food and as soon as the woman started to ring up the food all of a sudden everything got jacked up $.50 here $.40 here. I’ve never seen her there before. I called her on it and she started to tell me «no I didn’t say that.» She started talking about different food that I never even mentioned or wanted to order. I don’t know who she is but get her out she’s trying to scam people out of their money at the ring up. You guys just lost my patronage I won’t go back.

I just want to start out by saying a lot of these reviews were probably written by someone who isn’t a regular customer here. & the key thing to eating at King Chopstick is knowing how long the food has been sitting there. Sometimes the food has been sitting there for a while, and everything is always better fresh. You should probably try a piece of what you’re getting especially if it’s your first time or first few times going there. My boyfriend showed me this place about 6 months ago, and my first time going I didnt really like it as much as I do today. We go there regularly, partially because the food is usually always delicious & partially because a 3 item feeds me and my boyfriend for like, $ 7! Not bad on the wallet & so good to the tummy! The old lady who runs this place is so sweet, maybe because we’re regulars. But she always lights up when we come in. She asks us how we’ve been doing & makes small talk. Their general chicken is there signature I would say, the flavors are so amazing. Hits the spot every time. The fried rice is also amazing! It doesnt have green onions, which is one of the reasons I prefer King Chopstick over Panda Express. Mainly, a lot of the reviews for King Chopstick are bad, and I had to write a good review for my favorite Chinese place. They are so much better than the Panda Express chain, the flavors exceed those of Panda & they are family run which always makes me feel at home when dining in. They recently got new tables too! The old ones were… old? Haha. Give King Chopstick a try when you’re craving Panda Express, you will be more than happy and might even find your new Chinese spot!

They’re like a tasty Panda Express. The Chow Mein was ok, Sweet and Sour Pork was nothing special, Mongolian beef was DELICIOUS and pretty spicy. The Pork Eggroll was pretty decent, though I didn’t get any sauce for it. It wasn’t just full of cabbage like you get some places. They were cheap, and gave me plenty of food. Will definitely be back.

My go to place for hot and sour soup. Everything else is just okay. However, my bf loves their house fried rice and honey walnut shrimp. Customer service is good as always. But I do hate the $ 6 minimum credit card charge! I was short by about 50 cents and the lady still asked for cash only. It’s okay, I’ll still be back!

Ugh. I’m usually not picky about Chinese food(love sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken) but this place was awful. Happened to walk past it while getting Jamba Juice and thought I’d get some Beef and Broccoli to go. I’ve never had such terrible Chinese fast food in my life. The broccoli was not cooked all the way and the beef tasted awful. Never going back there again. Oh the plus is that the lady who rang me up was nice, so I guess I’ll give the one star to her, since I can’t do zero stars.

Ehhhh. Really below average food for the buck! We tried to cater something for SCU but they were really mean about the prices! The lady had a nephew who went to SCU, so she gave us a minor discount but it wasn’t even anything! Honestly, not even that great of food. And catering was effing expensive! I’d think not… ever again. The chow mein and chow fan aren’t even that great. I’d rather stay in my hometown of UC to eat some good Chinese food. I’m disappointed, Santa Clara.

Apparently no MSG and it’s really cheap. $ 7 for a 2 item combo. That said the service is not friendly at all and the food is nothing special. Go to Panda Express, at least it feels sanitary and you get a «thank you» when you pay.

Not great in terms of fast-food chinese… the food under the heat lamps are pretty bad but the freshly made food are okay. I had them make me a mongolian beef to go and it was pretty tasty and had good flavor. I ordered a couple of the chicken dishes that were under the heat lamps and those were pretty soggy and quite sweet. Service was quick and they seemed nice. I would have to say Panda is way better but would come here in a pinch and if the item was freshly made.

For the location and price, this place isnt all that bad. The owners are very nice and if you come around closing time and they dont have what you want available they will cook it. Which means fresh and they dont turn down business which is awesome. Ive never had to wait in a line. Im in and out within 5 minutes or less. Price is very resasonable for quick Chinese. The parking lot isnt the greatest and kind of awkward. It shares spaces with Pinkberry, Jamba Juice, and Starbucks; but I always find parking. Its worth a try if your over waiting in Panda Express’s line!
