I ordered chicken kebab wrap and I am not satisfied with it. My friends ordered lamb Mandy and they are happy.

This halal restaurant is in an industrial area. It is open for dinner(when my family and friends usually go) and it is pretty almost pitch dark all around except for the restaurant. You may miss it if you do not know it. The food is very good. We like their signature lamb dishes, Mansaf and Mandi, and their combo plate of grilled skewered lamb/beef minced meat and grilled chicken kebabs. The eggplant moussaka is good too!

Feels like home. The owner is very friendly. We got the buffet for a very reasonable price. Eggplant moussaka, kufteh kabab, and butter chicken were sooo delicious. The buffet also includes dessert and tea. Definitely will go back again.

The woman at the counter was so friendly! My husband and I got the buffet and enjoyed it. I really liked the chicken kebab meat and the lamb with spinach. The tzatziki sauce was awesome with the pita bread.

I love the weekday buffet here, specially on Fridays! They have a lot of great variety. Holyland is not your standard Arab/Mediterranean/Middle Eastern joint. Their buffet boasts home cooked dishes that are not available elsewhere. The owner is also very friendly and a great cook!

I wonder how this place has 4 stars! Fopd sucks! Chicken wrap was the worst wrap I have ever had.

Tastes like frozen product. Not fresh at all. For frozen food it’s okay at best. Nothing was above warm, a concern for a buffet. The server was friendly, the only bright side of this experience. I even saw bagged pre-sliced pita bread poured into the buffet line. Very cheap product. The best part of the meal was the dolma.

We went here last week for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with this find :-) We went during lunch time and opted for their buffet. Yummmmmm! The owners are very friendly and told us that the a la carte and buffet had different items. The noteworthy buffet dishes were their lentil soup. Yummminess personified. Their potato and meat dish and the lamb kebobs which the owner brought to us specially. We are super happy with this place and would highly recommend! :-) :-) :-)

The food is good here. Large plates, tasty and fresh food. I liked the dolmas and the Greek salad. My husband did not like his lamb dish, the sauce was not that great according to him. The place is located in an office building and somewhat hard to find. I recommend it for lunch. Very affordable. Good value.

Food is great here! I’ve ordered their wraps twice(kufteh and falafel) and their main plates several times. The kufteh wrap was stuffed full of kufteh, and the falafel was crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. The rice that accompanies the main plates is quite spiced(not spicy, but spiced) and had a slightly sweet tang to it. I have yet to try the mansaf, said to be the best in the bay area. I will be back for it! I did take one star off for the service here. The tea wasn’t ready two times that I came here, and the lady(I’m assuming is one of the owners) today was inattentive and constantly on the phone. It was hard to get her attention. That said, the food here is good and pretty inexpensive actually and well worth a visit!

The owners are awesome and the food was great. I got a falafel plate to go and the smell was mouth watering. The serving size was generous and the price was great.(I’m a big dude and I couldn’t finish my $ 7 meal.)

A hole is a wall Mediterranean restaurant that offers healthy and fresh authentic food. For lunch you can have a choice of buffet or combination plates. I had the combo meal that came with lamb, beff and chicken served with rice. It is so delicious and fills you up. It’s one of the most delicious Mediterranean food I had. And it didn’t break the bank. This place gets crowded during lunch time and parking can be very difficult.

This place is great! I came here with my family for dinner and the place was completely packed. The dinner was buffet style with delicious Arab dishes such as hummus, falafel, rice, kabobs, etc… The owners and employees are extremely nice and hospitable. The environment is nice because it’s busy so there’s no awkward quietness. The place is spacious so there’s room for party gatherings/events. It can get very full in here rather quickly so I definitely recommend to call and make a reservation.

Food = 5 stars! Service — 5 stars. Placed an online order for pickup. When we arrived to pick up our lovely lunch … we waited … waited … and waited. Tried to just cancel our order … and they refused. So as we’d paid upfront($ 36 ++) they held us hostage for 45 minutes waiting to collect 1 entrée and some sides. We LOVE the food but after such a bad experience can’t ever return. Our time is worth far more than our $. Not to mention, all we got was excuses like«we got a catering order in» … so oh that’s nice — you can’t take care of your frequent everyday customers because your catering order is worth more $$ to you. Goodbye and good luck — we’re done with this place.

I adore Holyland. In looking for a really fantastic Mediterranean food place that delivered through Door Dash, I stumbled across Holyland. To start off, I must say — I love love love their hummus. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had and with the combo rice — it’s just amazing. It’s quickly becoming my favorite thing to eat!!! I love their kabobs and while I could give or take the salad because I don’t eat leafy greens, the pita bread always seems fresh and soft! I’ll definitely keep ordering as long as they deliver through Door Dash — and maybe make the trip, even if they don’t! ;D

Ordered lunch from here with some co-workers using DoorDash so I haven’t physically been to their restaurant location. I ordered the moussaka with meat & my co-workers ordered a chicken kebab & wrap. My moussaka was a bit pricey @ $ 8.99 but it was well-seasoned, flavorful, and although the portion looked small, it was really filling. My co-worker’s dishes also looked & smelled delicious. The food was a bit oily & is super aromatic(to the point that everyone in your office will probably smell it even hours after you’ve eaten), but it was tasty and we would consider ordering again.

Seriously, some of the best falafel I’ve ever had. Very friendly staff, and a solid menu. I wasn’t blown away by their hummus or pita, but I would love to come back and try their kebab’s and their lunch buffet. It’s a little tucked away in Santa Clara, but it’s not all that difficult to find. I will be back for more!

*****Chicken Shish Kebab Plate***** — pita bread was soft, warm, and fresh — the hummus was thick and pungent — the salad was crisp — the chicken was tender and flavorful — the rice was exceptional. fluffy and light Service was great. I have dined in and ordered my food for takeout. Not once have I ever experienced anything short of excellent. The two ladies working the front are friendly and genuine. I will try their lunch buffet next time.
