I can’t believe this place! Jim wanted $ 20 to stretch a womens pair of leather flats. No thanks! I’ll drive 10 minutes down the freeway and have it done for $ 8

This place is very inexpensive. Ill be picking my shoes up in 7 days so Ill post a follow up on quality but as of now I was pleasantly surprised with the price of only $ 95 for 5 pretty badly scuffed up shoes(one pair chewed up by my dog)

Jim put half soles on my boots as they were made of leather and were a bit slippery. He also had a nice little polish when I picked it up as well, the boots looked better than when I got them!

Came here after being seriously dissatisfied by another shoe repair place. The owner is an older Korean gentleman and he is polite and courteous. My Coach shoes needed a little work– the toe of the sole was peeling away from the shoe and the leather on the toes needed some dye and shining up(bad habit of walking through glass with these shoes). He did the job perfectly and price was reasonable. When I came back to pick them up, he was helping another customer but let me know he’d help me in a moment; I appreciate the fact that he acknowledged me. Overall I’m happy with the cost, service, and repair job from Jim’s Shoe Repair. He’s my local go-to-guy for shoe repair!

I’ve brought various heels here off and on over the years and I don’t know if the business has changed owners recently or if the quality of work has just gone down. Previous years the heels I’ve brought in were fixes such as the shoes needed a new little black thingy because after a while they wear down or the sole of the heel was starting to wear. Also, whenever I’ve taken them in for these repairs not only did they make the repairs but they also polished my heels which was awesome. However, this most recent visit I left disappointed. I took my pair of heels in for a tear on each side, I figured it would be cheaper to repair than replace. He charged me $ 20 to stitch a tear in the side of my shoe, which he did on only one side, I mean how can you only see the one side? The work looks a little shoddy on the side he did repair and it looks better than when I took it in but it was only half done. One shoe had the tears but I brought in both and asked that he also polish them, well when I picked them up they weren’t, he literally made the repair and that was it. For $ 20 I expected a bit more. This used to be my go to place for repairs but I think I’ll have to scour Unilocal for a new place

I had a couple things done here. I brought my heels here to get stretched and he did an amazing job. But I brought my boots in to get repaied because the inside was ripped off he told me he would patch it with some fabric to get a better hold of the inside of the shoe. When I picked up the shoe there was glue all over and thw patcj work was almost outside of the boot and recognizable. I was a little disappointed with that. I brought it home and tried to fix it myself. I should’ve left it alone.

Excellent cobbler! In my work my heels really take a beating. I took my heels in to get the rubber heel replaced($ 15) and it took less than hour. He not only replaced the rubber heel, he also polished my shoes and made them look brand new!!! You cannot beat the price, quick service, and friendly smile. I will definitely be back.

First time here and was greeted by Moon, a sweet asian man. He made sure to accommodate me with my shoe repair requests. I needed some pump tips replaced since they were so worn down. Well, all in short, I dropped off the shoes a little before noon and was able to pick them up at 2pm! When I picked them up, the tips were brand new and my pumps were nicely polished! Pleasant surprise! :) I’ll be back for more shoe repair work! They also repair purses, in case anyone was wondering. :)

Great cobbler! Did excellent work on my Johnson & Murphy’s and Cole Haan’s that needed some work. He did what was needed for each pair, be it half sole, re-heeling, or full sole replacements. The work was quality and lengthened the life of my shoes. Thank you!

I’ve always felt that $ 12 to put the little black rubber piece on the bottom of my high-heeled shoes was a big rip-off…but after taking my shoes to Jim’s Shoe Repair I now feel like it’s totally worth it! My shoes looked like new!!! Not only were the heels replaced but all the little scuffs and nicks were repaired/smoothed out. I would highly recommend taking your shoes here for any type of repair. I know I’ll be back for sure!
