Specials advertised are very misleading and borderline fraudulent. I was quoted a price to dry clean some shirts and charged a higher price at pick-​up. Also came to find out that only ²⁄₄ of the shirts I dropped off had been cleaned. I was told that those shirts didn’t have wash instructions on the tag, so they decided not to proceed. Huh? It’s a $ 50 dress shirt. Just do what you gotta do.

I needed my bridesmaid dress steamed and I needed it next day. They were able to accommodate me. $ 5 and change for the service. Easy breezy. Staff was friendly. I seriously had no idea what this place was called until I realized it was red Hill cleaners.

Worst experience with this dry cleaner. Started pick-​up and delivery service with them and within 3 weeks they had ruined several of my husbands expensive label work shirts, including melting the buttons, burning the collars and in one case, writing our last name on the bottom of a light-​colored Burberry shirt (worn untucked) with a permanent black magic marker. They denied responsibility but still tried to fix all the shirts. They removed buttons from the sleeves of the shirt to replace the front buttons which they had melted and lightened the black marker but did not get it out completely. We contacted management and eventually the owner several times about these issues and after denying responsibility and refusing to pay for the damaged shirts they informed us that they were cancelling our pick up and delivery service as well as threatened to sue us for defamation if we posted a poor (but true) review online. We had switched from our regular, more expensive dry cleaning delivery service and went running back after this — I guess you get what you pay for…

Love this place! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Service is fantastic and they do a great job on my all my clothes even my more expensive items. Have been going here for nearly 2 years and plan on going for a lot longer!

Great for dry cleaning, but horrible for any hemming work. Will not be taking any clothing to be hemmed after I had a pant leg longer than the other.

Great staff, recently moved back into the area. So pleased with every piece of clothing I’ve taken. I had a bridesmaid dress, entire suit, many business clothes and they’ve managed to do everything to perfection. Convenient shopping center with Arco right next to it.

Having been using them for 8 years. Staff is friendly and clothes are always clean to the best standard. Gives a great 3 work day service deal. Basically, if you give your clothes to them you get 40% off for a three workday turn around! I’ve been referring them to my friends and coworkers and they have been very happy with results :-). This place is a great value. I would even say they are the cheapest in the Newport/​Irvine/​Costa Mesa Area. Been going here for almost a year and if there was ever a problem then they always made it right.

Came here for a few years until my last visit recently.
Work– Decent, not perfect (often had to take things back to get cleaned again)
Pricing– Good
Turnaround time– at least 3 – 4 days
Reason for leaving– owner was hostile and argumentative. He blamed me, the customer, for the mark caused by his pressing machine. I asked him to fix, which he did, and when I came back to pick it up, he went on and on about how it was still my fault and would not stop! I was so disgusted by his attitude and lack of customer service, I took back the big bag of clothes I was about to drop off for cleaning. He lost my business.
Go somewhere else– Dry Cleaners should be happy with their business– I live in Newport and was loyal to this place– never again.
