Husky Boy Restaurant

Very very good burger! Lots of flavor in the meat, bacon was perfect. Chili cheese fries tasted great but the only mark against it was the presentation of them. Good Chili but the cheese was just sliced cheese laid on top.
Other than that, the only thing I experienced that I have never experienced before was a 1.25 surcharge for using a card. I’ve seen that at places before but only with purchases totaling less than 5 or so dollars. This was 13+ that still had the extra charge. Oh well. I’m not from California so maybe this is the norm here?

Husky boy has decent burgers fries n corn dogs. The other stuff seems shady. The owner is always in a hurry and extremely rude. Came on a wed night around 9:15 he informed me they close at 10 so I’d have to take my order to go. Ok… anyway they are extremely cheap dont give you drink covers, only give u 1 napkin at a time and give brown lunch bags to take your food home.

So freakinggood! And cool like liquor store inside really cool place the burgers and fries are delicious just not 5 stars

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. They always had good burgers. The place looks run down but they whip up a mean burger.

I love their fries! Especially with a side if thousand island dressing. Their hamburgers are good too just like any other place.

We were excited to come here but as soon as we parked with our little dog, the owner an older man immediately yelled repeatedly at us No Dogs Allowed. We told him to stop yelling at us and that he only has to tell us nicely one time and I told him in Spanish as well in case there was a language barrier or misunderstanding but he responded «I don’t care what you’re saying, just leave.» Im a social media consultant and if this is how he treats customers on a daily basis, he should consider how his demeanor will drive business away. Treat customers with respect.

Love their special order, the burgers are big, the fries are always so good and they are very nice people, very attentive. I go often hehe

The food and customer service is amazing!!! I would definitely recommend! Trust me you wont regret it. Yeah the place might look a little «ghetto», okay maybe A LOT «ghetto» but the food is to die for and you really cant judge a book by its cover. You’re welcome!

I’m not ordering any more breakfast from this place, there ham was burn the eggs were gross and green, and the hash-​browns were so oily. And pancakes burn! I like this place for their burgers, but this will be the last time I order breakfast!

1.25 to use my card?! That sucked and so does the food. I won’t be back. The girl at the counter is sweet.

I live extremely close to this place! It looks kind of odd, rustic, run down, etc. But the food is goooood!
My cousin and I used to get their cheeseburgers and fries and bring it home to eat. Once we would finish it, we would want to go order more because it’s sooo good! Would come back.

The place might be old looking and not modern but the customer service is the best friendly people family owned and my food is fresh I always get the special huskys is soo bomb and you only get one extra re fill and that’s it I love that place thanks to my boyfriend for introducing me to Husky Boys

Good fries but a dry and flavorless burger. Does any independent burger joint ever make their own patties anymore?! Seriously, if you want return customers you really have to have an item that puts you on the map. For a burger joint, you’d think that the patty would be it! Please, give me a reason NOT to go to a fast food chain. I’m begging you!

It’s a clean restaurant with helpful, friendly, and fast service and the food is delicious. It is family friendly with arcade games for the kids.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. It’s not too far from my house so it’s convenient and the burgers are super amazing BUT the place REALLY needs to be remodeled/​updated.
The food: I’ve only had burgers from this place (jr cheeseburgers to be exact) and gosh, they are amazing. How I wish I had a bigger appetite but the Jr burger fills me up and I never finish the fries (I think they are big portions). They cook the patty right when you order so it’s always hot and delicious. The fries are sooooo good! Those are also hot when you get them and if you are anything like me you will burn your mouth, so be careful! Try the ranch! Super yummy but it does cost 50 cents… or 75 cents… don’t remember the exact amount so that’s kind of a downer :(free ranch is always the best but eh just pay because it’s delish
The service: every time I’ve gone in, I have always gotten smiles and great customer service. You have to wait to get your food but as stated above, it is made when you order so I definitely don’t mind the wait.
Why not 5 stars? Well, let’s be honest… this place is ghetto lol I’d be scared to eat here past 6pm so I almost always take my food to go. The inside is super dated and old and ugh I just… idk I don’t want to be mean but it’s ugly inside… let’s just leave it as that. The drive through cracks me up all the time. It’s a small window that leads to the parking and is used as a drive thru. They also have a fee to pay with card… who does that nowadays? Oh yeah, they do.
Anywho, I’d recommend the place if you were around the area… before dark of course! Unless you’re not a chicken like me and don’t mind the location lol enjoy your burgers!

The place is your typical hole in the wall hamburger joint. They seem to have a great variety of things you can spend money on such as video games and toys and Mexican bottled sodas and such. The neighborhood it’s in is pretty sketchy so that’s def somewhat of a concern. The food was decent and plentiful but certainly nothing extraordinary. I would come back again especially if I was in the neighborhood and was craving a hamburger from a hamburger «joint», which this clearly is.

Husky Boy is just like a thousand other burger stands in every city around. Very generic. They serve a decent burger. Kinda boring though. Nothing too good about the sauce, just a plain thousnad island type. Beware if you want extra sauce, or some ranch for your fries… they charge extra.
Bottom line is… if you are driving by and need some grub, pop on in, the food is fine. But don’t go out of your way to find it, you can get the exact same thing from Bill’s Burgers, PK Burgers, Dukes Burgers, The Burger Stop, Tom’s Place… etc…

I love this place this is my second time here, but apparently I use to come here when I was a little kid. I love this place it’s awesome it has swings, arcade machines, and a foosball table really brings back childhood memories lol I have only tried the burgers there but they also have other items on the menu there burgers are really good and so are there fries definitely a place to check out

I love Husky Burgers!!!. I’ve been coming here for 12 years and never once have I ever been disappointed with the restaurant.

Even though this place is in a really obscure area of Santa Ana, I can’t help but really like their food. Their menu is straightforward fast food, burgers, fries and a drink.
I order a cheeseburger combo; it’s cheap, fast and I actually like the fries. I dunno. The burger tastes just like one you’d cook at home, so i’m pretty sure they grill up that patty when you order it. There’s really nothing special about this place, but it’s not like it’s trying to be a special, fancy fast food restaurant either.
Oh, and I totally won a stuffed animal from that claw machine while i was waiting. Yeah boy.
