Really liked this place. I was coming in with low expectations from reading the reviews. The ones we ordered were very delicious. The Athenian was packed with flavor. The pesto chicken Alfredo was really good too. We got both of those on artisan thin crust. Lastly we ordered the chicken carbonara with classic pan crust. The menu was simple and the service was pretty good. They came around and asked how we were doing? And asked us how we liked the food and if we needed anything? Something you wouldn’t expect from a place that isn’t a sit down and order off the menu. Will come back and try the other items.

Decent pizza. Very fast and fresh. It’s a little pricey for what you actually end up eating but I would recommend this for fast pizza.

This place is great if you have kids that want to get their quick pizza fix. Prices are reasonable. All pies are customizable. They are fast and quick. Add the huge soda cup plus endless fountain and you just satisfied all your kids hunger pains. Stay away if you are a pizza aficionado looking for a new pie to try. Their crust is bland and thats what kills the pie. No matter what you add on top, the crust kills it. Its missing some basic ingredients such as salt or pepper. This is the same with every crust be it thin or regular. The same goes with the marinara sauce. No flavor whatsoever. Great location that is easily accesible. Super clean place and the staff is friendly.

I guess the name Pie Five has nothing to do with the price of their pizza like that Utah county pizza chain. They meant it as a cheesy way to say«High Five» with a pie not in the face I suppose. The décor was actually a bit awkward, not too contemporary, but not too classic as well. They got some pre-combination to choose from or you can order your pizza like going to a Subway. It was not any oven-baked pizza, all they did was piling a bunch of things a pizza pan with dough on it then send it through a conveyor belt like a Café Rio dish. The result was a bit disappointing, the pizza looked old and lifeless, and it did not taste like a freshly baked pizza. The kid’s pizza looked like a mess too and it tasted quite bland. Conceptually, the place had the right idea, they seems to have some interesting pizza combinations, but the way they prepare these pizza just got laziness all over them. One way I would describe them would be overpriced mediocre pizza.

Quick, make your own or pick one of the suggested pies. Good crusts, even gluten free option! Yummy

Good, fast pizza, friendly service, and a nice clean restaurant. I’ve been here twice so far, and I like Pie Five for what it is: a nice place for a relatively quick lunch or casual dinner. They make your personal-size pizza however you want right in front of you, and in 5 minutes you’re eating it. So it’s kind of like the Subway of pizza joints(but better, because it doesn’t smell like Subway’s «freshly baked in a dirty dishwasher» bread). Nothing about the toppings or crust or sauce blew my mind, but I was pleased with an above-average pizza each time. Everything’s the same price(like Fat’s Grill in Sugarhouse), which is fine with me. Oh, and that turtle-brownie-thing is pretty awesome, especially if it’s warm. I took it home & nuked it for 20 seconds, and it hit the spot.

I had high hopes for this place. and maybe that’s because I was expecting it to be as delicious as Pizzeria Limone. The pizza was ok, but forgetful. There aren’t any other places like this in Sandy. Great hours and great location. The location opened at 11:00. We pulled in at 11:10 and went up to the door and the door was still locked. One of the workers came over to unlock the door and he was very polite. We then went up and ordered our pizza. My girlfriend ordered her pizza on whole wheat and the employee behind the counter looked at us confused. She couldn’t figure out how to turn on the machine behind her that flattens the dough. I had a traditional Pizza with spicy marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was good and it was very spicy! But the pizza itself was MEH. There were about 7 employees just standing around behind the counter and it seemed like everybody was is everybody’s way. The service from beginning to end was unorganized. However, the chocolate chip pizza for dessert was delicious! I gave this place 3 stars because I see great potential here. I know they just opened so hopefully they’ll work out all the kinks in the next few weeks/months.
