The food was GREAT. But I have never had such horrible gas and indigestion in my entire life.

Our wedding was during the summer, and I’m finally getting around to writing this. Somewhat last-minute, we had to change the food for our outdoor, Millcreek Canyon wedding due to issues with our original vendor. Blue Lemon was AMAZING. Every employee with whom we interacted treated us so kindly. We didn’t know the questions we even needed answered, but they sure did. They made sure every consideration was covered(allergies, all implements needed for keeping food at safe temperatures for an outdoor affair, etc). They even delivered up the canyon(for a small fee — I expected it to be much higher, and it was not high at all), and the two employees who delivered also set everything up so that it was ready to eat. Best of all, the food was delicious. A few guests remarked how this was the best wedding food ever, and I have to agree. Blue Lemon has great food, and I’m impressed with how they translated their brick-and-mortar model to on-site catering. Our little outdoor wedding was centered around food and family for the most part, and Blue Lemon really made the day just perfect.

It’s all about the customer service here. The food was actually pretty good. But I will not be coming back to this location. I will give another location a shot to see if this was just local management dropping the ball. The person who took our order was very rude and should not be in this or any industry that requires talking to people. There were four of us and all the food came out at three different times. The first meal came out ten minutes before the second. How’s that going to work? Go somewhere else.

I didn’t know about this place but I worked nearby so I finally just got curious and tried the food here with my boyfriend. We’ve been several times to this location and it’s been good to us. You order the food at the front and then they bring it to your table. I usually like to order their sandwiches that just taste really fresh and I love the sweet potato fries. We did try a flatbread once and I thought that was delicious as well. Really decent portions but just a little on the pricey side, which I assume is because of the fresh ingredients. My boyfriend got the shrimp tacos and said they were good and then we tried their lemon tart. Very beautiful dessert display and it was worth the money for us. The inside of the place is incredible, very beautiful place to sit and eat and hang out and you fill your own drinks so I can’t complain. They also have a coffee and cream station and specialty drinks you can get instead of the regular soft drinks. Will be returning here often.

I go out to a lot of lunches for business meetings. This restaurant is a decent eatery. Hip and modern atmosphere. The pricing is decent and the portions are just right. I avoid the sauces the restaurant put on their foods. They add too much sauce. I recommend ordering the sauce on the side. Currently, I recommend ordering the coconut chicken curry or the raspberry chicken salad.

The manager was helpful when I called to have tables set up for our group of 13 for breakfast. I ordered an omelet with cheese, mushrooms and spinach; side of potatoes. The food was just okay. Tables and chairs are Spartan. They have some cute nooks with booths for smaller, more private groups. Plenty of parking. $ 5 off your meal with the purchase of a $ 25 gift card.

The Blue Lemon has 6 locations in Utah and Arizona, so technically I guess it’s a «chain». The food definitely doesn’t taste like a chain restaurant. I ate there with a friend and we split a grilled balsamic chicken panini and fiery fish tacos which included shrimp, salmon and cod. Both entrees were excellent! The interior of the restaurant was fresh and clean. They had a large selection of desserts that looked delicious, but neither of us tried any. If you like fresh, healthy food, this is where you want to go. The only negative was the fact that they have a spot for a tip on your receipt, and you pay prior to receiving your food. That made me assume that we would have a server, so I tipped appropriately. Basically they had people that picked up your dishes and trash off the table, which was very nice, but not something I consider«tip worthy». I would suggest checking this place out if you are ever in the area.

Unique set up and good atmosphere, my best friend ABSOLUTELY loves this place and my two girls do as well. It’s not my all time favorite but it’s the healthier choice. The food is good and service is good. I like this location especially around holidays. Great salads and love the black bean soup! I’m trying the lasagna next.

I stopped into Blue Lemon without checking the Unilocal reviews because I had always heard good things about it, but then had a look and was surprised to see a 3 star rating while I was standing in line to order. After the whole experience I am no longer surprised by the 3 star, but I am surprised that I’ve head such good things about it. Ill start by saying that what little food we got was actually pretty good, but as my pointed compliment suggests the portions for what you pay are dinky at best. I ordered the«Steak» Tacos, I put steak in quotes because it was really more of a hamburger sort of thing and was overcooked and bland. which also came with house-made salsa, guacamole and chips, and I think they word it in that order to make you think that the chips are also house-made, but they are clearly Don Julio or a similar brand, which should afford them to put more than 4 or 5 chips on the plate. My wife ordered a soup/salad special, and got a Mango Mint Salad and their Butternut Squash soup. Again, the portions were just tiny, seriously how much does lettuce cost? Though I did not try the salad(because I didn’t want to take 1 of the 4 or 5 bites of my wife’s lunch) I did have some soup which was good but a bit too«festive» for an everyday soup, like it would be good for thanksgiving or something, but there was too much nutmeg and cinnamon for my liking. A friend that was with us ordered a soup salad combo the same as my wife’s but she raved about everything since I was visibly annoyed that I let her talk us into coming here. So in a nutshell the food was good, but not great or pretentious enough to charge what they do for the tiny portions you get, basically its like if paradise bakery gave you a third of the portions but charged you twice the cost.(we literally stopped by a fast food drive through after we left because we were still hungry) I would never eat here again because it just wasn’t good enough for the portions and price, and I would not recommend it to anyone I know.

It always stinks like fishy seafood inside. I love the chicken balsamic sandwich, but I feel the quality has gone down.

i made my fellow Unilocalers go with me cause i always pass by this place, but have never actually tried it. poor chris y. already ate there earlier, but was nice enough to say yes. they had a few gluten free options and i chose the fish tacos on corn tortillas. after we all ordered we found a place to sit and got our drinks. within minutes of us sitting down, our food all came out. it was fast, but a little too fast for my comfort. i wonder if most of it is pre-made or just sitting there waiting for people to order it. or maybe they’re just super fast. my fish tacos were okay. my fish was a bit bland, but the sauce helped with that. the sauce was a bit spicy and didn’t go with the tacos really well — the flavors just weren’t right put together. thomas n. got the fettuccine alfredo which looked beautiful in the bowl. he enjoyed his meal. chris y. got the chicken and found it to be very dry. jenny l. got the beef short rib, and after taking one bite, made a disgusted face. it was too salty and she took it back. she got the raspberry chicken salad instead and was enjoying it, unless we all saw a raspberry with mold on it. that was definitely gross. the service was nice and they came around to clear our plates when we were done. i love the décor inside — very modern and fun colors. overall after spending about $ 24 dollars for two entrees, i was not impressed. it isn’t a good sign when only 1 out of 4 of us liked their meal.

I love fresh and healthy restaurant but my fiancé refused to eat at Blue Lemon every time I mention this place. I can see why now. My fiancé’s company usually catered from Blue Lemon all the time but then he got sick from it! Yes, he got sick from having it all the time and also he got food poison by raspberry chicken salad. From there, he never wanted Blue Lemon ever again. I decided to give it couple tries. Since my fiancé refused to eat there, I just grabbed to go. First time I ordered Raspberry chicken salad. I liked it! The greens were fresh and the chicken breast was not dry at all. A little bit raspberry dressing goes great with the salad. Of course I went back to order another to go! This time I grabbed curry chicken. It was ok. The chicken seemed it has been sit outside for a while. The roasted veggies were tasteless. The rice tasted pretty good with the chicken. That wasn’t too bad. For the third time, finally I persuaded my fiancé to go to the Blue Lemon with Angie and Tom. Let’s just say that my fiancé and I were having a bad luck with their food on that night. I ordered Beef short rib. OHMYGOODNESS, the gravy was overwhelming salty. I returned the dish after the first bite. They switched it out with raspberry salad. Hmm… my berry was moldy. My fiancé’s chicken dish’s chicken was extremely dry and tough. He only ate a few bits and ended up grabbing McDonald later. Ok, what I love about this place. It is clean and the decoration is modern and chic. The customer service is just super sweet and friendly! I feel pretty bad that we stayed till a hour after they closed. We were following Unilocal’s hours and there were a lot of people still there chit chatting. Well, Unilocal needs to update their hours! Not sure if I want to come back to this restaurant for the food anymore. Consistency is problem at this restaurant.

Delicious lunch. I had the half sandwich half salad and it was very generous. I will definitely return!

Clean, quick, and fresh… but still far from spectacular. Blue Lemon is a step above fast food and reasonably priced but my mouth failed to orgasm or even get moist. The fiery fish tacos might have made my deceased mashed potato eating grandmother grab a glass of water but did nothing for me.

The food here was good, but I felt like it was a little pricey for what it was. I got the black bean ravioli, which had good flavor, but the portion size felt a little small. This venue was pretty noisy, as there were tons of families with little kids. The chairs were a little too low for the tables, or the tables a little too high for the chairs. I don’t know which. Overall, good food, good modern atmosphere. I’d come back for sure.

Wow I cannot say enough good things. I had heard about Blue Lemon from some friends and then I saw them on Good Things Utah recently so when I got to choose the lunch place for a family meal this was at the top of my list. Immediately when I walked in it smelled heavenly and fresh. The décor is nice and it is very clean. I ordered the steak tacos with the corn tortilla and it was amazing. So fresh and light, but very filling. Everyone else I was with loved their meals as well. I will be back soon, I promise you that.

Really love the atmosphere. It’s kinda loud but I like that. You can talk comfortably. I got a salad and it was really yummy. The hummus appetizer, not so much. You MUST get the sugar cookie! Delicious

BREAKFASTREVIEWONLY I go to blue lemon frequently for breakfast when I get off from class early and it’s always a treat during the week. I have gone to Blue lemon for lunch and was not a fan at all so this review is purely for the breakfast menu. What I order Signature Omelet with turkey sausage and Wheat Toast This is usually my go to. I make this into a make shift breakfast sandwich with the wheat toast and it is delicious. The vegetables in the omelet still have a nice crisp and the turkey sausage has a nice spice to it and they always put a lot of cheese. Blue Lemon Breakfast wrap (Spinach wrap turkey bacon eggs avocado, salsa, rosemary potatoes and cheese) I love this item! Even though its rich its suprisingly light. I don’t order every time because I am trying to cut carbs and my fiancé always gets it so I always steal a bite or 5. I enjoy the contrast between the suprisingly crispy turkey bacon and the creamy texture of the perfectly cooked rosemary potatoes and avocado. There is always plenty of cheese and the eggs are always cooked nicely and SALTED. Cut to the chase Consistently Great Breakfast/Affordable prices I will return/Not crowded! Desserts aren’t too bad either

I’m a big fan of Blue Lemon — and this location is no different! If you’re in the mood for some fresh, thoughtful flavors, and portion sizes that don’t make you feel like you’ve eaten«all you can eat,» this is your place. The décor in each BL location is bright, fresh, and clean. I love the ambience! Enough about that. Now, the food… First, if you don’t start with the Butternut Squash soup, there’s something wrong with you. Although it’s a bit like eating dessert first, I can’t find the words to describe how delicious it is. The inevitable amount of cream and other ingredients that will eventually be the death of me are no doubt at play in this soup. It’s beautiful. I could begin and end with the soup, but I never do… I love the new Coconut Chicken Curry — it was lovely. Served with a good amount of al dente veggies, served match-stick style. The coconut rice alongside was very good, too. We were among a very hungry group, so no one was putting up with me and my, «Hey, wait, let me take a picture of that before you eat it…» Needless to say, this eliminated some information — but, rest easy with the fact that everyone always loves what they order here. Even the desserts are good. I have yet to get here for breakfast, but it’s on my New Year’s Resolution List. So, it will for sure happen, right? When they’re busy, it’s a little slow to get your food. But generally it comes out quick, and they’re very helpful and customer-service minded here. Lemon! Game on.

A little sick of Habit or Togo’s, we decided to check out this place which just opened recently. The first thing that pops out is that the restaurant itself is very open, clean, with a lot of bright colors which match quite well. Presentation is quite beautiful. We got two entrees, the Artichoke and Tomato Chicken and the Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs. I don’t think the food is as bad as others are saying. The short ribs were good and the chicken was definitely better. The portions were definitely smaller than what I was expecting which brings down the value a little bit. I would definitely come back and try a couple things on the breakfast menu or some of the artisan sandwiches and make a definite opinion then. I believe other surrounding dining options are better than Blue Lemon, but definitely give it a try if you’re sick of eating pizza and burgers. 3.5 stars
