I love this place!!! I especially love their chamangos! The staff is always nice and courteous.

One of my favorite places to get my late night snacks from. My favorite snack from here is the super tostilocos. They also have excellent customer service and delicious food. I highly recommend this place.

Love it here! Everything is really fresh, the food taste good, they can make the food however you want it such as if you don’t want coconut on your fruit salad or if you want papaya and said of any melon they can do this for you. They have tons of fruit for the fruit salad with cottage cheese honey or even just strawberries and cream with granola! Everything is super good

Best Chamango hands down! Always on point! I’m a mother with 3 little ones & I phone in my order to avoid the crowds.

Love your food & desserts I have been coming to Tropifrutas for the past couple years. Just lately its beem taking 20 – 30 min. just to wait for two things.

The fat guy in the front is a jerk and is horrible to his employees. Hope this place doesn’t last. The food is horrible! Small overpriced portions

Found Tropifrutas in National City. Wow really surprised. Fresh Chef Salad Chica, Fresh Coffee better than Starbucks. Fruta Chica for later… all Under $ 15.00. This is real food the way we should eat. Fresh… No Sugar, No Grains…

I wish i can give them a negative 10 stars, the owner is SUPER RUDE. Fix your attitude bro, your leading a bad example for your employees which one day they will be owners… So sad

I love this place. I grew up in San Ysidro for a while in my formative years so I’ve tried a lot of fruterias and delis in the area. This place is among the best.

This place has gotten so bad the owner is very rude he has an attitude all the time. The last time I went I felt like he kept cutting me off everytime I tried to add something to my order.

Food is ok. Worst customer service ever, so I go order my cesar salad i let the girl know that last time i was there the cucumber tasted a little funky so I asked her she could please make sure that it tastes good first thing that comes out if her mouth is «oh nobody has complained about it» HELLO im letting you know, so i asked her if she could put it on the side and what does she say NO. Really dissapointed my usual place for my cesar salad but wont be returning! Just not the way to treat a customer.

Excellent place! There is a lot of things to choose from and everything looks delicious! By far the best fresas and crema I’ve ever had!

Me and my little brother wanted to check out this place. I ordered the diablito and it was spicy but refreshing. My little brother had the banana shake and that tasted awesome. The prices are decent the only downside is the place doesn’t have a running AC. But will be coming back soon.

I recently bought a Strawberry, Pineapple, and Banana smoothie from here. The smoothie itself was just okay. It wasnt blended completely and it just seemed a bit off. Also, i didnt like their customer service. I was speaking English but the person who took my order spoke to me in Spanish. Yes, I do speak Spanish a lot but I prefer English. Not speaking the same language as your customer is just bad business. I will not be be back.

Defiantly have a variety of choices when it comes to menu, always busy. Plenty of people which tends to mean the food is great. Anything from tostilocos, to fruit salad, strawberry aqua, or even a smoothie, I’ve yet to try any sandwich but trust me I’ll be back for sure

Torta was amazing! Wow! I am just sad I didn’t have the guts to order one of the fruit bowls with ice cream and granola in it (I wasn’t quite sure what was in it because I don’t speak Spanish). When I got home, my husband confirmed that it was indeed fruit, granola, and ice cream, and I’m sad I missed out on it!
But the torta was enormous and more than enough food. If I am ever in the area again, I need one of those ice cream things!

Nothing special about this place, the food is ok and as for the prices, well not bad at all, but I would expect better. The only reason I keep coming back is because unfortunately this is the closet to my house other wise I go to the one on Dairy Mart (el mango manila). Or if Im craving bigger portions, better juices, I go to Chula Vista. The chicken sandwich they have is nasty your better off making it at home, all it is is chicken from Kirkland/​Costco, juices are always warm too.

I went back last week to order some food and a juice. Honestly I dont know that the heck is wrong with the fat dude yes im gonna be rude now because if thats the attitude im receiving thats the attitude im going to give back. He honestly needs a attitude adjustment, I swear I want to just sock him in the face now. If not for the workers he hires who are quite nice and for the food which is ok im sure this dude would be out of business. Ugh oh well Im going to Dairy Mart from now on.

My girlfriend has been raving about this place for some time now. I finally caved and went. Not too shabby. Actually it was pretty good. Deli Sandwiches, fruit cocktails, smoothies.
Personally I had a salmon sandwich, and a strawberry smoothie. Both of which were distinctly fresh. My girlfriend has this fruit bowl with granola with ice cream on top. That was delicious as well.
The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I have my favorite spot, and while this place does not beat it (in my opinion) it is an excellent alternative. I would definitely, and will come back.
One last note, but not a negative one: granted it’s location, habla espanol preferred. :)

This place is small… and extremely colorful. It felt like I steped into McDonalds Fun House.
Ordered the Diablito. It came out to around $ 4. It was good. Although, there wasn’t as much mixed fruits and stuff in it. like what i’ve had before… mostly just slushy ice, and the drink. A few bits and pieces of this brown stuff. It was still good.
You’re able to use a debit card here, but they charge a fee.
Parking: It’s in a strip mall with lots of parking spaces.
