Great Steak

Ordered steak sandwich and the sandwich had 2 huge chunks of gristle chopped up and mixed in with the meat/​muscle. It was disgusting to bite into both pieces two separate times during the same sandwich. Now I know not to order any steak sandwiches from here.
Another gripe was that the bread was already a mushy soggy mess only seconds after it came off the grill. All I am saying is steak sandwiches are known to be somewhat soggy, but that usually happens during the eating process. Here at the Great Steak my sandwich was served with already soaking soggy bread which was also unappetizing. But that is nothing compared to biting into nasty pieces of beef gristle.
The only reason they are not getting a 1 star is because their smoothies met the grade and was prepared with speed before the food was ever ready.

Came here for lunch today and had the Philly Cheese steak. Service was really good, and the PCS was pretty awesome, I don’t consider myself an authority on what one should taste like since this was my first hahaha, but the bread was good and the steak was peppery and full of onions… delicious

Great Sandwiches, excellent service. Can’t ask for more at a food court.

south of the border outlet mall food court… tijuana border crossing… typical san diego outdoor mall layout… an indoor food court… enter and far left to great steak… a short line to counter order… a great steak sandwich… taking the larger size… for a larger hunger… adding fries and soda… taking a table and waiting for a calling… holy mother of baby batman… quite hot, quite larger, quite loaded… mountain of steak across… overflowing greens and tomatoes… a bite and finding delicious… mound of fries… fresh fried, seasoned little salty and overflowing from container… gluttonous meal shy over $ten…diet coke to watch the figure…
