Best ice cream scoop shop ever! I stick to the basics, Madagascar Vanilla, Bittersweet Chocolate are my go-to’s but their other creations are magnificent as well. The waffle cones are great, sometimes they can be a little skimpy though. A few areas for improvement: The freezers seem very high and deep, making it tough for the scooper to get to. Sometimes I’ve seen the workers have to get their whole head and body inside to get to flavors in the front of the freezers. This is bad ergonomics, and increases the chance of employees hair/sweat/etc from getting on the ice cream. The shop itself is kind of small, would be nice to see a larger scoop shop. Although it’s bigger than the tiny Larkspur shop. I do wish they’d renovate the shopping center it’s located in, it’s kind of depressing.

Hours on Unilocal and Google maps say 9pm closing time. Pulled up at 8:45 and we’re told by the only employee on duty they close at 8:45. Then, begrudgingly, the employee said she could only sell prepackaged pints. No surprise, more people walked up after we got our pint. Very unlikely to return. It’s a shame because it’s very good product, but service like that is not how a business should operate.

Delicious ice cream! Lemon Cookie was amazing and loved the homemade waffle cone. One thing to know is that if you’re looking for a cute setting, this doesn’t really fit the bill — it’s in a strip mall. Still, it’s clearly a local small business and worth it for the taste!

Two words: Lemon Cookie… ok and Bittersweet Chocolate. We are spoiled that we live nearby and now we compare every other ice cream to it. It can’t be beat. Our opinion is it’s the«BEST chocolate ice cream ever»(says my 11 year old) and no one else makes Lemon Cookie like it. All the other flavors are good too… mint confetti and sea salted caramel are other household favorite. They always have nice teenagers working here. It’s a neighborhood gem!

Small local creamery, a little pricey but great waffle cones and Sergio Romo mexican chocolate ice cream is a standout.

The whole concept of organic ice cream is really nice first of all. Their selection of flavors isn’t very wide, but their ice cream has a nice texture. The texture is creamy and thick and its flavors are very distinct. The overall experience was pleasant.

I love three twins ice cream! We came in on a monday night around 7:30(30 minutes before the shop would close). We expected the worker to have an attitude because let’s face it, who would want to serve customers at closing? To our surprise, she was super nice and allowed us to sample whatever flavor we wanted. My go to flavor is the lemon cookie but they didn’t have the bittersweet chocolate(which is my boyfriend’s favorite) at the time of our visit. You would think that lemon cookie is such a weird flavor but it is super refreshing! I would compare it to a cookies and cream but less sweet. the flavor is just amazing! They have a freezer of prepackaged pints and ice cream sandwiches :) This place has outdoor/indoor seating and offer water for your needs. Although this location is in such a random plaza surrounded by residential area, the plaza has many parking spaces. I would definitely recommend this place for your ice cream cravings :)

If you’re looking for good quality ice cream, 3 twins is the place. They sell ice cream by the scoop as well as pints of their most popular flavored. A very convenient place if you live in the Terralinda area.

Rich, delicious ice cream in interesting flavors! Plus a few basics for the classic flavor lovers. This is not baskin robbins 31 flavors so don’t expect a million choices(or 31 choices), but the ones they have are very good. My personal favorite is the lemon cookie. The refreshing lemony flavor satisfies the need for sherbet, and the creamy flavor very ice creamy. Kind of like a creamsicle but with lemon instead of orange. Interesting bit of trivia is that I believe it was the first Three Twins location. The location is not easy on the eyes as it’s basically on top of the parking lot, but who cares when you take your first lick of that delicious ice cream!(cross-kudos for Lococos pizza place next door — why not make it a pizza and ice cream night?)

Just really good ice cream with interesting flavor selection(cardamom for example). The ice cream is very refreshing and not too heavy or creamy. The perfect consistency ice cream to eat on a hot day. Some of the best tasting ice cream I can remember eating.

Thumbs up for a brick and mortar ice cream shop. We usually buy the ice cream at our local grocer, so it was a treat to enjoy a scoop in house. Tucked away in a neighborhood strip mall, tiny interior with a few tables for outdoor seating. A plus for 1 kids table that my daughters enjoyed. Got a scoop of my fave: Lemon Cookie and my daughter split a small scoop of Blueberry. Minus one star for lack of free water for paying customers, but hey, there is a drought after all.

We love Three Twins! A favorite stop on a sunny day. The Strawberry is my favorite and I also love the Sergio Romo Chocolate. The staff in this little shop is quick on their feet, and always ready to give you a ‘taste.’ My only reason for not giving this location a 5-star rating is that the sidewalk out front is disgusting. The tables are often filthy and sticky, and there’s lots of trash on the ground. Please have the sidewalk power washed, and bus the tables throughout the day. This would make for a much more enjoyable experience.

This place and Scoop in Fairfax are the best places for ice cream in this area. The flavors are rich without being overtly sweet, and the texture of the ice creams very creamy. Flavors such as cardamom, make the offering more interesting. Yet, you can still go for your vanilla, strawberry or chocolate chip. Just like scoop it cannot earn a five star because the shop is just not comfortable nor clean enough.

We were in the mood for ice cream on our way back from Point Reyes. Took us a while to find this small shop because it was a little out of the way. Service was friendly but a little slow. Somehow the place itself wasn’t what we were expecting it to be, but the ice cream was good.

The ice cream was fabulous. I got a small scoop(around $ 2.45) canoli combo special. Which consisted of pistachio base with cherries, fudge, waffle cone pieces, among other things. I also samples their Mexican chocolate which was so so good. The establishment has several booths and is decorated with every world cup poster. They were nice to see. They also serve ice cream cakes and more interestingly for a more 1:1 birthday treat, a small square base of its cream topped with a cone and decorate with a smiley face. I would definitely want to receive one of these for my birthday ! The customer service was also top notch. They informed us they make every flavor besides two in house(the two flavors are basic like sugar free something and rainbow sherbet). The owners are German and I appreciate their attention to detail maintain by being the only location of its kind. Highly recommend. Tops Fentons, and other local ice cream shops I’ve visited.

This place is fantastic!!! I am a frequent customer and I can assure you that this is THEBEST three twins out there. Friendly staff, you get a cozy and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in, and did I happen to mention the really awesome staff? Any who, if you’re looking for some fabulous iced cream, come to the terra linda three twins.

Every time I am in the area I swing by for ice cream here. I used to be faithful to the cardamon but I have a new favorite… earl grey flavor. Love their waffle cones! This little shopping area has been here forever. For as long as I can remember there has been a grocery store and a Mexican restaurant here. Both were worth stopping at. Then in more recent times the ice cream place opened.

Three words — Chocolate Orange Confetti! It’s the best thing about three twins and ice cream in general. It’s creamy, cold and orange with a chocolate aftertaste that hits the spot after a meal. I don’t see this flavor in the supermarkets for some reason but they have it here. The Mint Confetti is a winner too. Friendly service. Recommended anytime of the day!

Love the one Asian staff member here who kicked off our conversation and kept it going throughout our Three Twins ice cream indulgence. We entered the scoop shop and the first thing he said was, «You guys aren’t from around here huh? Whenever I see Asians, I know they’re not from here.» Hahaa, well, you were right — we’re from San Francisco. We came by hoping to find the seasonal pumpkin flavor but we were a week early, shucks! Oh well, at least they had my chocolate orange confetti(: I’m a big fan of Three Twins so when we were at the register, my eyes widen at the sight of stickers for the taking! As we were enjoying our ice cream, the same Asian staff member was talking to us about San Francisco, Three Twins, etc. Then the topic of what flavor is scooped the most came up and he tells us, quite sadly, that chocolate and vanilla are the most popular flavors… WHAT? San Rafael peeps are boring! He even pulled out the«flavors» book and showed us all the different flavor labels they have starting with M. I was amaaaaazed when all the M flavors were spread out on our table. He even mentioned the alluring chocolate lavender flavor and I felt so blessed to have tried it at the Napa scoop shop earlier this year. It’s one of my favorite flavors! 5 stars for the employee who gave us the inside scoop on the Three Twins flavor book(:
