I have PTSD from my experience here with Dentist Michael W. Lew. My family and I were a patient of his for a couple years and always thought he was a nice and genuine guy. We soon realized that he treated us a little bit different from his other patients who were predominantly White (we are Asians by the way). He kissed ass to the Other people like no other and gave them priority service. I remember when I was younger I was a few minutes late to an appointment. They had made me wait for over an hour sitting in the dentist chair. I was furious because if I knew I was waiting this long I would have left and reschedule for my regular cleaning. When he finally came to the room he asked why I was late and gave me a guilt trip that you shouldn’t be late for an appointment this is what happens and asked whether or not my parents or teachers in the past taught me about tardiness. I was in a state of shock but at the same time told him I didn’t mean to be late and was sorry that I was. He wasn’t happy to clean my teeth it seemed he took a look at it with disgust. He left me hanging a couple times to tend to Other patients. Wtf! Worst experience and one of the worst days of my life! He came back and I admitted that I don’t floss ever and I rarely eat candy. He was rough on my teeth when he was cleaning and scraped away so hard that my gums started to hurt and bleed. He did not try to numb the pain prior to his deep and rough cleaning. I tried not to cry. I have other dentists after him and he was the worse. He did not care about how I was feeling and did not take his time at all. After this ordeal I never went back to him nor did my family. WORST DENTIST EVER! There are way better dentists out there who really care about you and not try to lecture you and make you feel like crap and worthless.

Really nice guy, but I wouldn’t recommend going here. My coworker referred me, but I later found out he has some strange enjoyment of dealing with pain. Let’s just say that the dentist doesn’t do the best job of numbing the pain before some procedures…
