Wingstop

Late night, open sign lit up. Decided to do it.
Dammm. Staff is cool… Wings are the bomb. Don’t like the boneless chicken however too salty and little. Dipping sauces are great. My favorite Lemon/​pepper, smoked bbq and the next hot up from that one. Forgot to mention it did take 20 minutes to get my order.

Not sure who’s writing all of these fake 4 and 5 star reviews, but this is definitely the WORST Wingstop I’ve ever been to. The staff moves so slow I’m almost convinced they’re moving backwards. I’d maybe be willing to blame it all on the amount of orders, but judging from the other reviews this seems to happen even when it’s not busy.
We put in an online order around 5:30, and were told it would be ready at 5:55. It’s currently 7:29 and we are STILL waiting for all of our food to come out. It took about an hour and 15 minutes for half of our order to be ready, and when we told them the other half was missing they made it seem like it was our mistake! Absolutely ridiculous. And we aren’t the only ones. There’s about 20 other people who have all been waiting over an hour for their orders to be ready. And all the while the employees are chowing down on rolls while they’re packing everyone’s food with their buttery little hands. So unprofessional, not to mention COMPLETELY unsanitary.
Thank god I’ve been to other Wingstops that are much more competent. If this had been my first experience here I honestly would never come back. This location seriously needs to consider hiring on a completely new staff before it’s too late. Save yourself the frustration and go to round table or even Subway instead.

Two out five times, I was given 5 less wings. Both times they replaced the missing amount but I had to drive back from home through horrible traffic. Another time I was given boneless instead of classic.
It always appeared that they are short on staffing which cause them to rush and make mistake. I blame manager more then the young hard working staff.
I will try the San Carlos location next time.

I love WingStop! Tonight Jason helped us. He’s tall and friendly. He hooked it up for my husband I who are usual Customers. We are now enjoying a late dinner.

DONT ORDER ONLINE VIA Unilocal! And Don’t order unless you plan on waiting a rediculous amount of time. I ordered a 6piece boneless meal online at 3:10pm. Got a confirmation via email that my order was received and would be ready at 3:30pm. I get there and they have no record of my order. So they take my order again… and I wait until 4:15 to get my food… 6 pieces!!! I ordered extra crispy fries and got a soggy mess… NEVER AGAIN!
OH! And then you get an email to take a survey on service. When you click the link… ERROR. So you can’t even let them know how shitty their service was… smh.

I will start by saying I LOVE CHICKEN WINGS. I can eat them all day for every meal. My preferred style of wing is sauceless and extra crispy. I will say that this wingstop doesn’t disappoint with that. Its the fries that are a huge let down. And it doesn’t matter if its togo or to eat there, somehow the fries are always soft and limp. Even if you ask for them well done. Then comes the issue with the «cool soda» machine here, it seems to never have any of the flavors. Its always out of everything. So many times I’m forced to get sprite, guess people in my area don’t drink that. I mea literally its out of everything, dr pepper, coke, diet coke, fanta. None of the flavorings are even available. If they fixed those two issues this may be a five star review. I will still go here as its the closest place to me.

This must be the slowest Wingstop in the Peninsula. I was the only one there who ordered and it took 30 minutes!
They don’t wait to let the oil drip off, they just dump it on the basket.
They have a TV facing the workers not the customers — weird?!
Also check your credit statement, one time they charged me twice.

Food was excellent, that big cashier guy was awesome, super friendly, and made it easy to order. He recommended the Louisiana-​rub, I got it and it was worth it, it was pretty good! Highly recommend!

If I could give this location zero stars I would but Unilocal won’t let me. I ordered food online here while at work. I went to pick up our food and the girl working the front desk was very rude. She proceeded to take my credit card for payment. I had two orders. She brought me the first one. I had asked for ranch when I placed my order. When she handed me my order I asked her if the ranch was in the bag. She said «If its on the receipt then yes.» RUDE! Much to my unexpected surprise, I get back to work and there is no ranch. Really???
Additionally, the fries were soggy and gross. The potato salad was raw potatoes not cooked. Overall, horrible experience. Wing Stop should be embarrassed by the quality of this store.

This location has a friendly staff.
Mango habanero wings are always on point.

Location had good customer service but my order for work was completely wrong. Was supposed to be boneless and it was bone in then they forgot 30 of my wings They mixed all the orders into 20 pieces when I needed 10 individual orders for business purposes. It was super bowl Sunday so it’s understandable but 3 stars for 3 mistakes in one order.

Best ever. whoever has never tried this location before, must go, very friendly team, fast and fresh food!!! They also have a cool out side area with music and a big TV… good place to watch the games, enjoy the wings and have fun with friends!!!

Wing stop has not ever hit the mark with me at least the one in freemont however this wing stop prove me that maybe I should get wingstop a try. San Mateo wing stop you got my Oder out quick, came out on time I really appreciate you guys thank you I will definitely be coming back

We called in our order, thinking by the time we got to Wingstop, we didn’t have to wait! Unfortunately, we did end up waiting about 5 minutes or so for our food to be finished, but it was totally fine since they were playing Hawaiian music, which reminded me so much of my vacation weeks prior. The wings here are really small, but the fries are so delicious and not overly cooked like the Daly City or San Bruno locations. Also, I think it’s worth it to mention that the employees are very friendly! Great addition to San Mateo.

Wingstop is great for getting your grub on, but don’t expect them to pay attention to details or get the order 100% right every time, or ever. I’ve ordered from this location many times, and NOT ONCE has my order ever been right. Items paid for that were missing. Items that were supposed to be included were not included. Sauces requested after they asked me what kind I would like, never made it into the bag. Waste of time. Waste of money. There went my appetite. Way to go Wingstop. No more business from me, ever.

There are only 4 tables inside this location– 1 seats 2 people and the other 3 is for 4. No clean tables at all! Garbage all over the floor. I doubt everyone that ate at all 4 tables finished eating together. Its only 4pm, that means lazy staff. Dont eat here.

good wings. Got the mild, garlic parmesan and Louisiana rub. All were tasty esp the garlic parm. Fries were ok. Wld go back for sure

I don’t usually believe in paying almost $ 1 for any chicken wing, but when you have a craving, what can you do about it?
Then, coming to this place reminded me why I always had that thought and I haven’t had a craving since.
We got the family combo pack which was more than enough to feed the 3 of us. We ordered 3 flavors of wings and they managed to give us the wrong flavor on one of our wings. Also, all of the wings were super small which actually surprised me that we couldn’t finish our meal. The flavors we got were cajun (tasted like a normal hot wing), mango habenero (it was okay), and garlic parmesan which I was really excited about but it was literally a friend chicken tossed in the parmesan cheese that you put on top of your pizza. The chicken was also all overcooked and dry. The best thing about the meal was the fries tossed in lemon pepper salt. My other complaint is that they have this whole «create a 100+ flavor drink» soda machine and about 90% of the syrups and sodas were out. Stick to water.
Overall, not coming back.

Boneless, classic or why not both? This location has got some talented team. I’ve been here several times now, both after work, before midnight, and around lunchtime… and service have always been fantastic.
I’m a basic guy, so I always order the classic. Go with the bone. It just taste so much better. Their Mango «drummetts» are just out of this world as well as their Louisiana rub. If you are feeding a group, go with their meal and starts as low as 10pc for only $ 12.99 and comes with your choice of sides + a drink. It’s just the better deal.
They have a great outdoor patio to enjoy your meal, and their indoor has adequate space. There are plenty of parking, and when you order to go, I suggest doing it online. It will be ready and waiting for you at their counter when you come to pick it up.

This place is tiny for a newer Wingstop. Late fri night we felt like dinner needed bolstering so we dropped in for a fix. Oh shoot popo came in. Now im trapped in the corner. They gotta get their wing fix too though i guess. Louisiana and Lemon Pepper were hot but seemed under seasoned. Also the fries were not completely fresh. Staff were nice but i think they were slammed and it unfortunately showed in the order.
