It’s been great having my two sons learn kung fu at the Shaolin Culture Center for the past four years. The Grand Master and his staff have done a fabulous job nurturing all of their students, My sons have certainly benefitted from both the discipline and exercise.
We visited other studios before coming to Shaolin. We feel like a part of an extended family, unlike the cold, very business-​like operations many other studios have become. Give it a try!

So exciting to watch as students quickly learn traditional moves right out of classic martial arts films with new weapons at each new belt! Run quickly to sign up and take advantage of this true cultural jewel in downtown San Mateo (next to Takahashi Market)! Kids will quickly gain confidence and skills, and amaze you as they learn kick-​stand-​up, no-​hand-​cartwheels, elegant flowing forms, board breaking focus, staff, swords & more! Ask about adult self-​defense and Tai-​chi classes too. Also quality After School with a great group of smart kids, performance & tournament opportunities and much more! Wow!
