Round Table Pizza

I’m not a big fan of Round Table Pizza but others around me do. I have been here numerous times and they have always been friendly, organized, and come through with what I order. The location is also clean and big with lots of parking around them.
Bottom line: 3 stars for Round Table Pizza generally + 1 extra star for consistent and friendly service.

The Filipino manager has a real chip on his shoulder and asked inappropriate questions regarding my ethnic background. I won’t be returning

Ok, so my kids like round table — they just don’t realize the aggravation you have to go through!
My experience when trying to book parties here was horrible — won’t do it again (Marvin Gardens is a nice option — kids can hang out on the patio and they have other options besides pizza).
However, I do have to say the phone courtesy is good when ordering pizza as well as the service when picking up. I just don’t get the pricing! I have coupons and they always say they’re not necessary as they’ll give me the best deal available (which is great, but I never walk out feeling like i got a deal!). Had a large cheese pizza and medium Hawaiian for $ 40 (with coupon) — just seemed steep for a chain pizza place. Our go to place is Toto’s, more authentic Italian pizza. Toto’s large pizza for $ 20 will serve a family of four whereas Round Table’s large serves 2 to 2−½ in our family. Expensive American-​style pizza — support the local, more authentic pizza store’s! (When u go to Italy, pizza will not taste like Round Table;),
Even when you go online, it’s difficult finding pricing — just makes it seem a little questionable.

Ok let me start off by saying that i love roundtable pizza

Every time I order for delivery they are great on the phone, prompt, and considerate with coupons. Happy to live near this Round Table!

I ordered two pizzas online tonight from the round table on 43^rd in San Mateo. One of the pizzas was a medium half and half and one half was a veggie and the other side was an all meat specialty pizza. For some reason when I was ordering it the «none“got selected under the toppings for the meat pizza and it took all the toppings off that half. I got charged for the all meat but received a cheese pizza. When I called them they told me they couldn’t do anything accept deliver me another pizza because they couldn’t credit my credit card since it was an online order. I told them I didn’t want another pizza because I already ordered two. The manager came on the phone and told me he could credit me $ 7 off my next order and I said great, send me an email stating that and he said he couldn’t because he didn’t have my email address. I told him it was on the order and he said he doesn’t have access to any of that. I find it very hard to believe that they have no access to credit a customer for something on the order or get their contact information for the order. I kept persisting that I wanted the credit and he said he couldn’t but that I can call tomorrow when his manager is in. I told him that I thought he was the manager and he said «yes» but I’d have to talk to his boss. I’m so aggravated that with all the technology that he isn’t capable of crediting me. I will not use my credit card again when ordering a pizza. My last point I want to make is that if you were making my pizza and you saw I ordered, and paid for, a meat pizza that it wouldn’t put up a red flag that maybe I made a mistake by taking all the meat off it. I got a cheese pizza and paid for a meat pizza. I am in customer service for a large corporation and I would be fired for treating a customer, employee, like this manager treated me. He actually chuckled on the phone when he said it was my fault and my mistake. I realize I must have done something but it is obvious that I didn’t mean to. I’m done with these people that are running a customer service business and really don’t care to please the customer. I paid $ 65 for two pizzas and I feel I deserve something. I guess they are doing me a favor by making my pizza. I worked hard all day and ordered pizza because I didn’t have time to cook and then I get burned financially on this. Thanks round table employees. I will make sure none of my friends or family in San Mateo buy from you anymore. You were rude and horrible with assisting me.

had seen the italian trio pizza on tv and it looked really good. so we stopped in tonight to try it out. if the pizza hadn’t been in the oven for too long, i’m sure it would’ve been the way it was supposed to be. scrumptious.
the crust was a bit charred, the thick slices of sausage and pepperoni slices were dried out, and the red and green pepper slices were totally dried out.
we were the only ones there when we got there, so they weren’t rushed. when we left there were only two moms with 2 kids each. not a busy night.
upside…everything was clean and in order. salad bar was good.

There is something about how they make their pizza that always taste the best. The only concern I have has to do with their service especially the manager. The manager always switches the channels when he wants and when we come in he makes us feel like we are intruding other then that every one else is pretty nice. It is a bit over priced tho.

I have always found this place to be friendly, and thankfully, after moving away from my other favorite RT, I found this one. For some reason, they AREN’T all the same as one might think. For me, it’s the sauce — has to be just right — or I may as well go frozen. They have it down here — just like my old fav. I have been to the restaurant and also had delivery. Nice folks all the way around — with a pizza quality that never disappoints!

I ordered waited an hour an a half for the pizza, called them back and no answer. Waiting on an empty stomach for pizza you’ve been craving is the worst. I don’t even think this deserves 1 star.

The old guy maybe owner is pure a__…We ordered a ½ & ½ pizza but my wife didn’t want all her toppings on her side so I asked them to put her toppings on my side, he said I’ll have to charge you… That’s BS, it should be free since it was supposed to be on my wife’s side. The guy is hella rude and should go back to his sand loving country. Welcome to America, we’re nice here.

It’s behind Mollie Stones… the sign isn’t very big either. I’ve always placed my order as ‘pick up’ and food is consistently ready when told.

Sometimes you just want a pepperoni pizza. It was getting late and i didnt want to drive anymore. Dropped in around 2 pm and got said pizza. Man i havent been to RT in ages and they seem to be disappearing. Things haven changed much. Pizza was as i remembered jt and was decent. Not great but it filled the gap

I haven’t had much interaction with the staff here, so I can’t give a fair assessment of the service. However, I can say that the BBQ Chicken (w/​Bacon) pizza is AMAZING! I like to have it thin crust w/​no onions, but I’m sure any which way you choose to consume it will be «slap yo momma» delicious!
The location is pleasant and it seems to have ample accommodations. They have some TV’s in the place (usually on sports) so a cool spot to catch a game, etc.
The only peeve is around price. I think the price point is a bit much for pizza.

I like this Round Table a lot; very friendly when you call in — they have your history of orders. The pizza tastes great and their deliveries are when they say they’ll be.

I’ll keep it simple. How do people eat this stuff is beyond me. All greasy and artificial. Extra star because if you’re bed ridden they do deliver.

For a pizza chain that uses factory-​made crust, the pizza at this location isn’t terrible. The interior was also clean and seemed relatively new.
But this Round Table gets an F for totally dropping the ball on my daughter’s birthday.
The plan was to go to Planet Granite for a few hours with about 10 friends, then walk here for pizza and cake afterwards; We called several weeks ahead to reserve their party room; They confirmed the room was free and our reservation was complete; All seemed well.
But when we called back on the day of the party to pre-​order the actual pizzas, they had no record of the reservation, and the party room was reserved by another group that had called just a few days before. (Maybe they use a special reverse reservation system, where the LAST one to call gets in?)
Did we find another spot to sit? Sure. It wasn’t too crowded at the time, and we made due by grouping some tables together in the corner. But this kind of blatant F%*# Up has put yet another Round Table on my S list.
Really two stars, but one more subtracted to offset all the five-​star Freddies.

Tonight is an epic failure.
I live a mile away.
I ordered my pizza at 6:45. By the time 8:00 came, I was thinking… maybe he gave my order to the guy downstairs… maybe there was a massive accident and he couldn’t make it. By the time 8:15 came, I was getting pissed. I called the pizza place back and asked if my order even left round table. Yes, it left at 7:30. WTF?
It finally showed up at 8:20. It was cold as hell AND I paid $ 6.90 for a six pack of sprite, and never got it with my order.
I used to like you, but now I don’t. Do something with that delivery guy. You can take care of your business AFTER you deliver my pizza. Thanks a lot.

This Round Table is my favorite. Even though I am supposed to get delivery from the Round Table up near CSM, this one delivers to me anyway. The manager Sarp, is awesome. He remembers my order, and always makes sure things are ok. The CSM Round Table always delivered things late, and this Round Table is ALWAYS on time and the food is HOT.
Get your pizza here. Its fresh, its hot, and the service is great! This round table can handle large groups, so don’t be afraid to have your party here! Their sauce is amazing. F all the others. Round table is the shiznit.

Mmmmm love Round Table pizza sauce. That is what keeps me coming back to this place is their spicy sauce. They have this deal going on right now for $ 13.99 Large pep pizza. Do it, do it now! The restaurant is on the small side, so take out is your best option. The kids working the counter were fine, no bad service. Someone even brought us our take out pizza, very nice.
Bonus is that they have every girls dream video game, Bust-​A-​Move. We went there one day just to play that video game.
