I don’t know exactly how to rate a speech therapy place, but I’ll try my best! Speech is what I needed for my whole life. I grew up, and still have, a lisp that makes it difficult for people to understand me when I talk. It’s something that I’ve had to work through my whole life. And here, it has definitely helped me a lot of ways. For me, every week I do exercises on how to improve my tongue movement on how to fully make the most of my sounds and such. But the biggest thing for me is building my confidence. All my life, speech has been one of my biggest insecurities. Here, I’ve learned to be okay with it and work through it, to build my confidence.
I don’t know exactly how to rate this, but it’s working for me, why not try it for yourself?

As a person who grew up with a NON-​corrected speech issue, I was hyper-​aware when my child turned out to have the same impediment. I am forever grateful to the people at Peninsula Associates. They helped me find the best way to tackle our issue — working at home on our own for a bit first, then coming in for sessions. In a very short time, my child spoke beautifully! Today you would never know he ever had an issue. For all his someday job interviews, dates, etc., I feel really blessed to have found P.A.
