You know when June rolls around the corner, it’s time for sticky rice. I decided to order the Thai BBQ chicken before my dessert. I was really disappointed. The chicken was dry, not even the sauce on the side could save it. The rice was cold and grainy, not a good start. At least they got the dessert right. My sticky rice was room temperature and the mango was nice and chilled. At least the service is consistent, I see the same faces every time I come here. Its hard not to notice their team work. They really help each other out. I have also tried their Ramen and Phở, not bad at all. The parking spaces are limited so you may have to park in the residential area. The bathroom is located outside the restaurant all the way in the back, what a drag.

Short Summary: Noodle World is a great restaurant to go to when you want a place that is convenient, somewhat quick, and with a large menu of Asian cuisine items that won’t be the best food you have ever tasted, but will be good enough for you to be satisfied with your meal. Noodle World is great to go to with family, friends, and big groups, and is very convenient to go to when one has time constraints. This is what is what gives Noodle World a HUGE plus for me. They are always ready to serve you some nice, decent food when you need it in a hurry or in a group. All at a decent price. I recommend it! Get parking in the neighborhood around the corner of the shops when going East on Huntington Dr. The Review: Noodle World is a restaurant I seem to take for granted. I’ve been going to Noodle World for a couple or more so years now. I must say, for the amount of food items that Noodle World has on the menu versus the overall quality of the food, I must say it is pretty darn consistent. Mind you, if I had the time to enjoy a leisurely meal, Noodle World would not be restaurant for me to consider. You see, Noodle World is a niche restaurant. Noodle World is not a big favorite of mine, but it is good enough to be a restaurant to go to at ANY time. I could go to Noodle World when I want leisure, even if I wouldn’t typically go to Noodle World for leisure, OR when I have limited time to eat want to get back to work. The latter is when Noodle World has been there for me the most. Now, don’t take that all as mostly talk against the restaurant and the food. Noodle World’s food has been consistently good! I’ve had their Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese Ramen noodle soups, as well as some of their rice based dishes like the Hainan Fried Chicken or their soupless noodle dishes like the Yakisoba. It’s all good! It will probably not be the best noodles or chicken you’ve ever had, but it will satisfy you enough, and make you feel good about eating it. Their Fresh Lime Soda is also good, for my soda pop enthusiasts out there. Noodle World also serves Pepsi products, if that is important for anyone out there, but don’t let that prevent you from coming here if you’re coke fan! This place is still worth the visit! Now, while I do say this restaurant is quick, the service can sometimes be a little«wonky». Noodle World can sometimes feel like it can be a little understaffed, so it can feel slow, but overall, the food comes out quick, and when you walk into the restaurant, you typically get seated immediately. So it all makes up for the service, which has also felt quick at times too. Depends on the day and time. So why did I give this restaurant a «4 star»? While the food may range around a «3.5 or 3 stars», the convenience and accessibility of Noodle World, as well as their large selection of food that has been consistently good, has impressed me. This place is easy to come to with a group of friends or with family, since it’s easy to get seated and the price of each food item tends to be under $ 10.00. Noodle World is like a working person or family person’s restaurant. When you need people fed with decent food at a decent price at a decent speed, this is the place. And that’s why I think Noodle World deserves the 4 stars. It is just a nice place to have around, especially if you live locally! I give this place a nice«recommend it!» for the reasons above. If you want a nice parking spot, I suggest parking around the corner and getting a space their, since the parking spots in front of the restaurant are often taken and are risky since it is tough to see oncoming traffic. Go East down Huntington Dr. and turn right into the suburban area past Noodle World.

I got the chicken noodle phở. It was very bland and the chicken was dry and overcooked. It needed more seasoning. The broth was very boring. The service was nice, though. They are also reasonably priced but I will probably not return for phở. I would try the pad see ew next time because some of my coworkers had that and it looked good.

I came here for a quick lunch since I was in the area, and I was not impressed. I had the rare beef phở while the boyfriend had the veggie ramen. The phở was alright, a good portion and decent broth but the service was bad. There were at least 4 – 5 servers and it was tedious to get any of their attention. The food was ok but nothing special. If I had to eat here again I would only order to go.

Love it everytime i come with my bf. We have the mint leaf chicken and noodles. So good never disappoints and not typically overcrowded. Waiters are always attentive and clean environment. Love it way better than other branches!

One of our fav cheap eats spots that is super close by our home. We always get the same thing. The house rice noodle soup and the chicken egg noodle soup. I’ve also gotten the pad see ew, spicy spaghetti and pad Thai which are all very good as well.

Came here like five minutes ago. I usually come here when it’s not close to lunch time, but today I wanted to be normal and just done during lunch. I literally left in 10 minutes. When the waiter saw me, he didn’t even greet me or ask to wait. He straight up said, «it’s too busy. I have to clean tables.» Um, okaaaaay. Attitude before I even sit down? I was not having it so I left. It’s beyond unprofessional to be so rude! Regardless, I left. TLDR: horrific service here. Food is good though. Don’t come during normal hours for lunch or dinner.

Good food. Good portions. Great prices. Why a 2⁄5 stars? Because this place SERIOUSLY needs to reign in the family’s with children who are allowed to use electronic devices while not being on mute. There’s been four times in the past two months that we’ve had to move because the family near us allows their children to play on their iPhone or iPad or whatever device it is with the sound blasting at full. Have a little more courtesy for the OTHER people in the restaurant, people. Its not all about you and your experience. Noodle World needs to put a sign at the front check in podium saying that all electronic devices need to be put on silent. Simple. Enough. And if someone asks to move because of this or another reason, dont hestitate to move your guest, it’s common courtesy. We would like to move into the other ‘closed’ off room most of the time because of screaming kids or kids on their devices. I hope the NW owner sees this and changes their policy on electronic devices. This chain is for EVERYONE, not just ONE or TWORUDEFAMILIES.

First off, the noodles are so overwhelming that you get more noodles than seafood or any type of veggie. I ordered a sprite and the waiter came late to bring my soda, when I was about to leave. Worst service ever.

The food is good here… I give props for the cooks in the back of the house. the downfall of this restaurant is that the servers have zero customer service. They don’t smile and I felt ignored to get refills on water and sodas. Non of them smile, make eye contact and are not welcoming to the customers. They can be replaced by ROBOTS. I get it, people come here for the food and that’s all. The servers are QUICK to get the bill to you… probably because they are expecting a tip… TIP means To Ensure Proper Service… be sure to tip according to their performance. .it’s like feeding the pigeons at the park. I’m sure that if they got a formal customer service training, this place would run much more efficient and the customers will leave this place feeling better about their experience here.

I really really love coming here to dine. I can never go wrong with any order. I tried almost every dish here in the past ten years. It’s always so good and good in quality. I love the big portions. The service is in San Marino is way better than the one in Alhambra. The environment is much quiet here and close parking :) My favorite dish is the spicy spaghetti with fried tofu and noodle world Tom yum(yummy) lol The only reason why I would only hate coming here is horrible customer service! a female skinny waitress who neglects me all the time. Takes about 25 min to get my check or even her attention. I would waive at her and she would look at me then look away. I can’t believe her! Well I have my generous tip to the other gentleman who was wonderful. Obviously he’s working harder because of her horrible laziness. So I would give this rating 4 stars instead of 5. She didn’t wear her name badge but she’s there around noontime.

You get exactly what they advertise: «Fast. Casual.» Yes, you can get other fast food for less or go to a Chinese or Thai restaurant to get more authentic food for the same price or less; however, as far as their strict concept of noodles based menu items, they definitely capture the gist of the most common noodle dishes of the different ethnicities. As far taste goes, they’re not the best but decent for a menu that tries to maintain some diversity

I don’t know if I’d call this place… «asian fusion» so much as an asian restaurant that sells most generic rice and noodle dishes. Although the food here is still pretty good, and I definitely stop by when I need my fix of asian food, I can’t comfortably give this place a higher rating knowing that their prices used to be so much lower 5 – 6 years ago. With that in mind, their food quality got worse if anything, so it’d hard to love this place, although it definitely is a quick fix/guilty pleasure food joint.

Definitely underwhelming. I knew this before I stepped into the restaurant since I’ve been to the one on Valley(and that was just as unimpressive). I ordered the Shrimp Tom Yum. Comes out in a big bowl. The shrimps itself was just meh and on the small side. Thank goodness the soup has flavor. I would’ve given this place a 3 star(they do have some other ok dishes), however the poor service made me take away a star. When we arrived, we just stood there. No one sat us down. One guy was on the phone. Another waiter came to the front, didn’t say nothing to us and then just walked away. We just ended up seating ourselves. Noodle World is like an Asian version of Denny’s: Will eat there in a pinch when nothing else is open. All other circumstances, keep on driving.

Came on a Thursday afternoon 2pm, so perfect timing because the place very slow and the food was made fresh right when we ordered. The plates are big proportions, perfect for sharing! $ 10bucks a plate. The pad thai with beef was good, the garlic chicken on white rice was amazing, also recommend the chicken lettuce wrap is very flavorful!

Another take out night. Service has gotten better but still hit or miss. Food is a good value they have a lot to choose from. Quieter than the Valley Blvd location.

If you want the a large variety of solid food, this is the place to go. This place is great for all large groups and family. All the noodle dishes are great. I like the pad see yoo, pad thai, yakisoba, spaghetti… umm basically all of them. The soups are good, tom kha, tom yum, phở. I think their Ramen is just ok and Udon is ok. Appetizers are good, solid salads. Rice dishes are good, mint leaf chicken, garlic chicken, can’t go wrong. Dragon Egg Approved!

I tried the pan fried noodles with beef, the pad see ew and I loved it. Good sized portion and tasted great. Cost about $ 11. I like to call in ahead of time so I can just go to pick it up. I also got some beef steak with onion and rice. Its similar to the vietnamese dish com bo luc lac, which happens to be my favorite dish of all time. Tastes great and pretty good value.

I usually eat here in the evenings because it’s convenient and close to the private gym that I train at. I’ve been to other Noodle World locations and this is my favorite, it’s clean and spacious. :Drinks: I get the Young Coconut Juice. My little one orders the Ramune Soda, she likes the orange flavor. It taste like light fizzy orange soda but the best part is the marble that you push inside the bottle. My daughter always wants to get the marble after she drinks it. ( ) :Food: Lately, the top two dishes that I usually order are Hainam Chicken and Thai BBQ Chicken. The Hainan Chicken is served with Hainam rice, chicken soup, and garlic ginger sauce. I don’t use the garlic ginger sauce, instead I mix chili oil with the rice. The Thai BBQ Chicken is marinated in coconut milk, garlic and pepper and it comes with fried rice. The chicken is always tender and moist. On cold or sick days, I get the BBQ Pork Wonton Noodles. It comes with rice noodle, or egg noodles; I prefer egg noodles. It is served in a large bowl and I never finish all of it. I don’t eat the sliced BBQ Pork and the wontons; I like the noodles and broth. Another dish that I order is the Spicy Spaghetti and Spicy Seafood Spaghetti, from what I remember it tasted good. ( ) ( ) :Dessert: Now for dessert, I like the Mango with Sticky Rice! In one sitting I ordered two, I mostly eat the mangos; I am a Mango Lover! The mangos are sliced and it comes with warm sticky rice flavored with coconut milk. :Highlight: The Mango with Sticky Rice and Young Coconut Juice! ( ) ( )
