Ws On Washington

Just FYI, I lived in this place for 8 months of my staying in St Louis.
Pros:
–Furnished room, TV, internet included
–THE MOST comfortable King size bed I have ever slept on, the comforter was feathered!!!
–Jacuzzi bath!!! woohoo!!!
–Spacious room, huge huge huge windows!!! Gorgeous night view! Every morning i got waken up by the sun light beaming at my face.
–Situated in downtown on Washington Ave, close to all the landmarks in downtown St louis, walking distance to Metro Link station where I took the train to work.
–The rent was cheap, 600 $ per month, no contract to sign, I could leave anytime I want. (the price might change now)
–When i decided to move out to another apartment, they gave me a good reference, and no hassle for getting the deposit back.
–A decent size gym in the basement.
Cons:
–No parking
–Security wasn’t that high that time, I had many visitors times to time, none of them had been asked question by the security. They just walked right in. (I think they tried to reinforce it, but didn’t see to work)
–I would not trust my mails with them. My mailing address in St Louis was my co worker’s
–Maintenance wasn’t up to par, my faucet broke down on Saturday, they didn’t come in to fix it until Tuesday.
–Fire Alarm in my unit always seemed to be out of batteries.
Over all, it was a good stay, I didn’t have too many complains, after all, it was my home in St Louis.

This is the one and only time I would like to give zero stars! This hotel is a crap hole. It’s disgustingly dirty and unkempt.
Let me lay it out for you.
Went to a Cards game and wanted to stay in the city that night with friends so we picked a hotel that was in walking distance of what we wanted to do. W S on Washington at the most reasonable rates so we went with them. Big mistake! The help could not find our reservation, which had been made a month in advance and then when we finally got our room boy was I in for a surprise! The are basically one bedroom apartments with full kitchens that they rent out daily, weekly, monthly, etc. I walked in to the bathroom and noticed that the toilet was peed on and there was nasty hair all over in the shower. My friend came out of the bedroom and said the sheets were dirty. Come to find out they had a group of 6 men. yes 6 men… stay there the night before and realized the room was too small but didn’t CLEAN up after them!!!
The carpets also weren’t vacuumed and it was dusty as hell. The TV was chained to a desk and the remote was glued to the coffee table! Wow!
We changed rooms but it wasn’t any better so we proceeded to look elsewhere only to find out everything was booked because of a Cards game, a Rams game and something going on at the Civic Center.
After all this we decided to drive the 45 extra minutes and stay at my parents house!
