St. Louis Pizza & Wings

Still my favorite pizza place in the city. Locally owned and does a lot in the community, my son gets free 9″ coupons from there from his school for awards they hand out. I would rather spend money there then ANY of the big chain restaurants. Great staff, even better food!!!

waited 50 minutes while my food was sitting on a rack for about half of that time. I ordered at the place and waited there. Unfortunately instead of handing me the food when it was done, it was put on a rack, I guess I was supposed to guess when mine was done. They said 20 minutes, finally after almost an hour someone had the insight to wonder why I was sitting there with my 10 year old son waiting on a measly 9″ cheese pizza and 5 wings which were ice cold by time I got home. Poor customer awareness. Customer service was horrible, there wasn’t even but 2 people in the restaurant when we got there, my son wanted to use his award at school for a free 9″ one topping but I didn’t want to not spend any money so I ordered wings and even tipped. I was told 20 minutes and I said I’d wait in the restaurant. After about 30 minutes I decided to buy a large soda I even tipped on that I was given a cup, when I went to fill my cup up (no lids) I made due and sat there another 20 minutes while my food was sitting on a rack getting colder and colder, I more upset that I lost and hour of my precious time with my son who I don’t get to see a lot at night since I’m divorced. Customer service is poor. guy that took my order I could barely hear cause he was mumbling and I asked my chance if they had mozzarella and he just stared at me like I was a alien that just walked in from mars. So not understanding him once again I just said never mind. So I suggest if you eat there, which I never will again. call ahead, if you order there I guess when you see an order go on a rack ask if it’s yours cause no one there will. food would have been ok I didn’t have to nuke it in the microwave when I got home, more upset I waisted and hour and 15 minutes total time there and back I could have had playing with my son.

I live two blocks away… and i have overlooked bad service and average food for convenience several times. Never again.

Pizza is awesome, I’m big on sauce and that they have. Wings are really good (recommend hot mustard sauce, it’s like Sybergs famous sauce). Can be a bit pricey if you don’t use coupons. But they supply coupons every time when they deliver.

We walked into this restaurant on an obviously very busy night. There was one person in front of us at the counter, picking up a to-​go order. The counter girl did not greet us or acknowledge that it would be a moment before she could get to us. When it was our turn to order, we explained to her that we had a commitment and needed to have our food and leave within 20 minutes, and if she could not do that, we completely understood and would have to come back another time.
She talked to the kitchen and told us our order would be out in 12 minutes.
The food arrived 35 minutes later.
By then I had left (I couldn’t get anyone’s attention at the counter to ask how much longer it might be) and my spouse stayed behind to collect the food. Had we not been able to do that, I would have had to stand at the counter until I got her attention again to ask for a refund. The very last thing you as a business ever want to do is deceive your customers. Someone in that kitchen knew the food would not be ready in 12 minutes. This restaurant has been around long enough to know how long it takes to process an order when they have six or seven orders ahead of it. They should have just said so and allowed us to make other dinner plans. I don’t blame them for being busy, but rather, for what seemed like a lack of honesty.

Food is good but the racist manager covered in tattoos is very rude. Would never eat there again

I’ve been going here for years but the quality and service has slipped dramatically. There have been countless times that delivery orders were incorrect or missing items.
Today was my last visit to this establishment. I’m done with 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th chances…
I had a credit since the last time I ordered from them I ended up having a dead bug in my salad. During my dine in experience, today’s salads were filled with brown lettuce that must have been over a week old. We asked for a replacement on one of the salads and the guy working there– tall, short buzzed hair, glasses, and tattoos– was so rude, there are no words. I couldn’t believe he’d treat a customer that way.
I had also ordered a pizza to go so it would be ready when I wanted to leave. Again, there was an issue… shocker. They had given away my pizza. The same guy started making a pizza for me, and I informed him that I couldn’t wait for the pizza. I had a meeting to get to and asked if it could be delivered. He yelled at me and shot back that he wouldn’t allow it to be delivered. I left. My husband then had to wait for the pizza and deliver it to my office.
I just can’t believe any company would allow an employee to treat a customer like that.
Enough is enough.

I have always loved this place ever since childhood and I now share that love with my fiancé who is from Cali and my daughter who is six. The teriyaki wings are to die for I am not sure what they use to make the sauce but OMG is it good! The pizza is typical STL style pizza. When I am in the mood for good pizza and excellent wings this is my go to place! Only down side is that they do not deliver to my neck of the woods so when it’s a night I don’t wanna leave my house unfortunately they do lose my business to imos or another chain that does.

We were looking for a local pizza place for lunch but most do not open until 4pm. Finally found this place. Nothing great taste wise. Price was very reasonable and portions were large.

Best wings I’ve had in St. Louis. Get them with the spicy mustard sauce! They’re amazing! And do i dare say it? Their square almost compares to you-know-who’s!

Great food! However, they need to update/​fix their website. It says you can order lunch specials, but often you can’t click on them or look at what they are. Once I was successful and ordered it at 1:55, by the time I got around to paying it kicked it out of my basket because it just turned 2, that’s crappy to do. Just working on fixing things like that, because it’s a big turn off. For a while I wondered if «lunch specials» even existed.

Not much for me to review. I called and asked if they delivered to my address and was told yes. I got my order together and called back to order and was told they don’t deliver to my address, then got put on hold, then they hung up on me. I won’t be calling back. Poor customer service is not a good first impression.

One of the best pizza places in St. Louis. You’re better off phoning in your order and picking it up because the dining room is small.
Great food, great prices, great service!

I’d love to give this place 10 stars if I could! Been ordering from these guys since 2007 or so. This place is nothing but DELICIOUS! The soft crispy crust, semi-​sweet sauce, and tasty ingredients all taste very fresh! Especially the crust and sauce, not too sweet but just enough to stand out from the rest. No pizza beats their fresh sauce and crust anywhere I’ve ever been! I’ve been ordering from St Louis Pizza & Wings for 7 years now and their hand tossed, well they call it New York Style, is the best! Nothing wrong with the thin crust, but the regular crust is just tastier. Their thin crust is awesome too, but we just love the regular crust because it seems has more cheese, sauce and meats.
I remember one time instead of ordering for delivery, i personally happened to drive by the Hampton location and all the guys were very nice and cordial, with great attitudes. I asked them to make me one from scratch while i waited, then drove home, started eating, wow… and I thought their delivery was delicious, it’s even better straight out of the oven! (Mouth is watering writing this)
Believe me, i grew up on most pizza, we had pizza almost every night, don’t get me wrong i still like variety, but just sayin’ if it comes to my last choice on a desert island i’d choose St. Louis Pizza & Wings!
I’ve eaten everything from frozen pizzas, IMO’s, Cecil Whittaker’s, Ken’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and other odd and end rare places over the years. Nothing compares to this pizza! It just tastes FRESH!
This is it, go no further, you just found the most tastiest most delicious most fresh pizza, not only in St. Louis, but possibly anywhere?
I do have to admit though that they goofed a few times, nothing major. Mostly just gave us thin crust instead of regular crust. It was aggravating a couple of times, but don’t despair, just let them know if something is wrong with your delivery or order, and they will always correct it or give you credit, they have always worked with these minor issues.
Summary: salads are just ok, and wings are good too, thin crust is delicious, but hand-​tossed-​regular-​new-​york-​style pizza is even more delicious!
If your tired of the same old same old, go for it! My favorite, call and ask for a «hand tossed new york style regular crust pepperoni and sausage pizza»! It usually comes with just the right amount of cheesy goodness but just remind them if you want. Bön Appetit!

I order delivery from here at least 3 times a month. Pizza is good depending who makes it and how late you call. Delivery never takes too long. Best part is half off any size pizza two hours prior to closing.

The family and I have had their fair in house and delivery. Always very tasty and reasonable on the price. Their service is quick and friendly. Their out door seating is nice.
The pizzas are standard St. Louis fare. The wings are great. I like the batter and the spicy sauce.
But the real reason I keep going back is their chef’s salad with house dressing. It is fresh, bountiful and the dressing is not too sweet. It’s a meal in its self.

Best. Food. Ever. St louis pizza and wings is extremely delicious! They have a wide variety of food from (of course pizza and wings) to salads, crab rangoon and spinach artichoke wraps.
The staff is excellent and prices are reasonable. They also help support local community events. My fav pizza is their plain mushroom. Simple but yummy and filling. I also really like the salads. Homemade dressing and of course lots of cheese.
I also have enjoyed their boneless chicken wings. So delish and you can choose to get them tossed in a glaze or have them plain.
The atmosphere is very inviting and family friendly. You have two very large tvs in the dining room perfect to watch a Cards or Blues game. There’s also two claw games and a video game — i think its pac man :)
Overall i give st. Louis pizza and wings a 5 out of 5 stars. Great food great staff and wonderful family atmosphere.

Love this place! Their menu has something for everyone and so far, everything my husband and I have ordered, has been great! Try their hand breaded buffalo wings.

St. Louis Pizza and Wings never really impressed me much in the past, but their $ 5.99 lunch special caught my eye and I decided to give them another chance. Why was I so excited about the lunch special, you ask? First of all, the special is valid every day (even weekends) from 10 am — 2 pm, which is pretty rare. Second, the amount of choices is phenomenal compared to what every other place typically offers.
First you choose one of the following:
— 9″ one-​topping pizza
— Any pasta
— Any sandwich
— Any appetizer under $ 7.99 (this includes wings)
— Any large salad
— Any juicy burger
Then you add one of these:
— Small house salad
— 2 pc bosco bread sticks
— Fries
— Homemade chips
— Onion rings
— Garlic bread
— 24 oz soda
— Cheesecake
— Funnel cake fries
— Ted Drewes custard
Are you kidding me!?! If I were better at math, I could tell you the crazy amount of combinations you could create here. My math is good enough, however, to tell you that this is a fantastic deal. You get a large amount of food (see my picture of the pizza/​salad combo) for $ 5.99. If you’re dining with someone, you could also get 4 things and share it all.
This location just added a patio and a dining area, so I ate there for the first time. We enjoyed eating our combos, watching the game and playing pinball in their small dining room. Very nice lunch, indeed.

The food here pretty good. I really enjoy the wings and the pizza. I haven’t tried the sandwiches but from what I’ve seen they look pretty good. They also have some killer specials running most of the time, including half price food late at night. Pretty awesome.
This place is leagues above and beyond anyhing IMOs Pizza can make.
