Quiznos

I have always been a fan of Quiznos just because they seem to care more about their quality than other sandwich places. The owner here is nice.

I visited this quiznos because the two close by my house went out of business. So I drove out of my way to go to this one, I ordered the usual turkey and roastbeef sandwich that I always get.
I understand the economy is tough but when I pay $ 8 for a sandwich I would like to get more than 4 total slices of paper thin cut meat on my sandwich.
What a rip off!!! After I was finished eating I was still hungry, went to subway for a $ 5 footlong.
Of course Subway is kicking quiznos butt when you pay $ 8 bucks for a sandwich that you could at subway for $ 5 and its bigger too.

I don’t necessarily think that Quizno’s is anything special. They have a huge assortment of sandwiches and salads and generally, you will be satisfied. I can’t say I ever crave it… I usually end up here when it’s convenient and I want a hot sandwich and I want it fast. Is it my favorite sandwich place? Certainly, no. However, it’s satisfying and somewhat wholesome.
I always get the veggie here. (I always get the veggie everywhere, so this isn’t anything new). The veggie good, covered in guacamole and this delicious raspberry vinegarette… it’s really a pretty yummy sandwich. The thing is huge, so even though it costs a little more than a Jimmy John’s sub, it is fully loaded, so it’s not like you are getting a bad deal. The veggies are always fresh and crispy too, which I appreciate.
I have had the salads a few times… they aren’t bad, but again, nothing too memorable or amazing. I ask for them without the meat, so I can’t really speak for how good the chicken would be. My dogs do seem to enjoy it, however. (This is a very low standard since my dog once ate a pound of raw bacon and seemed to enjoy it).
All in all, it’s a decent experience. Slightly better than Subway, but not as good as a local deli would be in most senses of the word. If you are in a hurry and want a hot sandwich though, this is the place for you.
