We celebrated coworker’s B-day there. Lots of country music. Staff composed of mainly model looking sexy dressed people. It’s like country Hooters. Guy who operates the bull makes it really fun and unpredictable. Crowd of various ages and about 50⁄50 guys/ladies ratio at that time. It is high energy fun to watch or participate in bull riding and flying. Staff entertains with bull riding and standing skills, lightning, and smoke effects.

A manufactured corporate spot set up to be just like your good olé’ home town country bar. Unfortunately the result is a raging sea of sweaty bro’s in flat brimmed hats and sports jerseys who are way too drunk already, seriously over priced drinks, and a bunch of depressed looking, beer goggle hot women dancing above the crowd trying hard to rebuff unwanted advances. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t have a 10 – 1 guy-girl ratio and room to breathe then keep looking but if you want to wait forever for your high priced beer while getting crushed in a crowd of grown men dancing to a Dixie Chicks song, followed by a TI song, then Katy Perry well then you’ve come to the right place! Stick to the spots on Washington street for a much better time.

Best party in St. Louis on any Friday/Saturday night or after any cardinals game, hands down! From girls line dancing in ass-less chaps, to guys doing flips on/off the mechanical bull, this place screams entertainment! Best part is, you don’t have to be a country music fan to be a PBR fan, there’s something here for everyone! Go see the guy with the man bun, he plays a mean cow bell!

Came here on a Saturday night for a friends happy hour. ½ priced drinks from 6 – 9 can’t be beat. Add in girls in booty shorts and chaps and this place is a party! Bri and Britt made us some great drinks… Only thing this place needs is more cowbell!

We went to PBR with a group of twenty people prior to a Cardinals game. Our bartenders were very efficient and attentive. The problem was every bottle of beer we had no matter what type was not cold some even warm. One might think that a bar in Ball Park Village would be prepared for a Ball Game. Disappointing to have to order a cup of ice for your beer.

Great place to have an overpriced beer then get called obscene words while being forcefully asked to leave. Also, don’t try to use the restroom ~20 minutes before closing — regardless of any line, they’ll demand you to leave. Ladies, if you tell them you need to go, have no fear, they’ll personally take you to the barhroom. Great place for people watching and/or dancing to top40 or latest country jams… that’s about it.

My boots are made for walking and they walked me straight in to PBR. Beer, country music, and a mechanical bull? That’s my kinda party. This place is upstairs at Ballpark Village and is a blast. Beers were around $ 5 typical for downtown StL. This place is spacious. There wasn’t a ton of people here when we came, however we didn’t plan on staying long either. I do love the fact they have the mechanical bull. It’s fun to watch people and to ride. A few years back my favorite St. Louis bar had a mechanical bull and beer pong. This reminded me of that bar. I would frequent here if I lived near.

Let me start this review with the fact that I personally made a Unilocal account just to comment on this bar. Now, this is not my typical bar scene and I personally have been here a few times and do not care for the atmosphere. However, aside from my personal opinions regarding the bar’s theme, the bouncers at this establishment are ridiculous and completely unprofessional. Last weekend my friends and I were celebrating one of our birthdays in downtown STL and ended up at PBR. We had been there for roughly 45 minutes when my friend(who was sober) stood on a seat near a stage in the back in attempt to locate another friend of ours through the crowds of obnoxious drunk people dancing. Immediately a bouncer began yelling at her and told her to follow him. He proceeded to grab her arm and expel her from the bar with absolutely NO explanation of what she did to result in such severe consequences. Only after my boyfriend and I personally sought out another bouncer at the bar did we find out the apparent reason she was thrown out. They claimed that they had told her multiple times not to stand on the stage(which she was not even on in the first place) and which was also a blatant lie. My friend had not been approached at any point throughout the night by ANY bouncer. Might I also add that there were at least 15 drunken people right next to us removing their clothing which dancing and smacking my butt while all of this was going on. I was completely appalled at their idea of who should be thrown out of this bar. In addition, this same bouncer proceeded to insult ANOTHER member of our group in the midst of my friend being removed from the bar. It’s safe to say I WILLNOTBEBACKTOTHISRIDICULOUSESTABLISHMENT. Seriously go to a dive bar before you waste your time at this place. Terrible music, expensive drinks and a weird crowd. p. s. get a new DJ… Heavy metal head banging music followed by All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey(In April?). Where did you even find this guy? I hope he’s paying you to DJ there.

Great bartenders, quick and never had to wait for a drink… but all the backwards hat wearing DJ played was top 40 and Pop crap country, I would expect more classic country songs from a PBR club not new pop country. I don’t need to hear big and rich or Florida Georgia line at a «country bar». Requested multiple songs that were never played, even with throwing $ 5 at the DJ for ever request. Also the coed restrooms were disgusting, I feel bad for the ladies. Not impressed

I’m really surprised to see such low reviews ok this bar! It’s a great, fun atmosphere to go with a group of friends. The entertainment of the mechanical bull was hilarious and of course the guys of the group loved the girls dancing! The music was mostly country but the DJ mixes it up with today’s pop/hip hop also! Cover was $ 5.00 and beers were between $ 5-$ 8 depending on the size of the can. The bartenders were very nice and there were places to get a drink located all around the bar which reduces the wait time! We truly had a blast!

Came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday after dinner at the Brewhouse. We had told them we had a group coming. Because of that we got special discounts and free drinks for the entire party. The beer was cold, the mixed drinks were what you’d expect from a bar. The music was a great mix of classic and today’s country, watching people trying to master the bull was fun. Being ignored by the female bartender because I’m not a tall, unmarried man was not. Took me a good 10 — 15 minutes to get the one’s attention to get a drink while the guy bartender of course tended to the women who weren’t wearing rings. Trust me, it wasn’t because this particular bar in the establishment was busy at this time. I’m sure I’ll return in the future to give it another chance. I just hope when that time comes, more attention is put on every bar patron, not just the ones they are trying to hit on.

See my review for Ballpark Village, that sums it up. Loud, sketchy and not my cup of tea. I couldn’t wait to leave. I guess early thirties is too old for this kinda thing.

Amazing show! Great service! ½ price drinks on everything on Thursdays! Girls walk around roping up customers to ride the bull, girls with hula hoops, bartenders dance on the bar, Dj mixes modern pop/hip hop with country which is all unique

My friends and I went to PBR at Ballpark village, on the evening of 09/19/2014 to celebrate my buddy’s birthday. I paid the cover charges for one of my friends and he ended up buying a round of beers. After about 30 minutes, my friend was just people watching and minding his own business, when a bouncer came up and asked him to follow him. He then said that my friend needed to leave the premises and would not answer why my friend needed to leave. The bouncer passed my friend onto a Ballpark Village security guard who would not even allow him to stay in the parking lot. The security guard made my friend go all the way out to Broadway. There was about 5 guys that got kicked out of PBR as well at around the same time and none of them were drunk or had any idea why they were kicked out. I urge anyone, that does not want to be treated like a criminal for absolutely no reason, to not give your money to PBR. I urge this until they learn how to treat their guests better. While my friend was talking to the group of guys(yes, all guys) that got kicked out, he learned that they were from Kentucky visiting St. Louis for the first time. They were expressing to my friend and I their disappointment regarding St. Louis hospitality. We had to tell them that this is not a good representation of St. Louis and it is the first time that we had ever experienced anything like this. I wish I could give this establishment ZERO stars. For the time being, we will be submitting a complaint to the local BBB.

They should enforce a dress code. I like the bar. Many places in the ball park village are similar, PBR is completely different. It closed about 1:00AM and the people filed out well. Neat place but I wish the original dress code for patrons was enforced.

Fun place right outside Busch Stadium. 5 dollar cover and mostly country music, so be prepared for that. I love the women dancing on all the bars, love that the mechanical bull was never not occupied, and love the great big open layout. Although we arrived around 1:30 on a Friday night, we had a great time at this bar. Since I was coming straight from the airport, I felt very undressed in a black basic maxi dress. For my first time in STL, it was a great place to get the party started! Oh, and we had a fireball/yohoo(yes the chocolate milk) shot and it was amazing!!!

I love coming here after Cardinal games… So much fun! It’s typically super packed, so you really gotta be in the partying mood if you come here. If not, you’ll probably be annoyed. They have three full sized bars, a dance floor, tables, and a mechanical bull. It’s a lot of fun watching everyone ride the bull. Plus I enjoy coming here because I love country music, and that’s primarily what they play. If you don’t like country music, lots of people, and noise… This is probably not the place for you, haha.

If you’re looking for a hip country bar with a good night life, pretty girls, and drunk guys, this is your place. I spent eight hours here on a Saturday night after a Cardinals game. It stayed packed but we luckily found a table early. There’s a big dance floor and a mechanical bull. The people are pretty and the drinks are good. They didn’t open the upstairs bathroom until late and there were issues getting out and back into the club if you had to go. You can smoke right outside on the staircase though.

Pros Hot girls, in cow girl costumes, dancing on barrels, a mechanical bull ridden by people, 4 bar areas, dance area, spacious, patio area Cons Doesn’t give a comfortable feeling when you are inside. Security people are unfriendly on the basis Of how they check id’s When the queue is long there is still just one person checking ID’s hence people have to wait for a long time in queue. Too Much of cowboy music.

Country Jams. Boots. Alcohol. Mechanical Bull. Large Space. Lots of People. I saw a woman get proposed to while on the mechanical bull. NOWTHATISSOMETHING… right? This place was fun after a few drinks. It’s entertaining to watch people act a fool on the bull. It’s location is nice, right at Cardinals Village, the new development next to Busch Stadium. If you’re looking for a drunk, country kind of night, head to PBR.
