Vegan and Gluten free options, great prices and good beers, what more can you ask for? Well have the Spring Roll Bowl, yum, yum, yum. We ate here for dinner, sat outside. Picked up lunch a few days later, got some burritos for the Cardinals game that evening and wished we would have picked up lunch for the drive home the next day.

Food — The food is great. I had cauliflower buffalo bites and a kale salad. The salad was impressive with an assortment of candied nuts and seeds, dried cranberries and a house balsamic vinaigrette that was just epic. The cauliflower bites were delicious with heavy breading and spicy buffalo sauce, cooked to perfection — crispy, but not raw. They also have a good variety of local brews on tap. Service — Very friendly. I think I was their last customer but I didn’t feel rushed. Ambiance — Great outdoor patio seating and warm, intimate indoor ambiance. Lovely little café with a very hip vibe and great vegan menu. Overall, 5 stars for an awesome, casual, vegan dining experience.

Best vegan food in St. Louis hands down! I had the buffalo cauliflower wrap and it was delicious. My husband and I split the Thai crunch salad and it was equally fabulous! I can’t wait to back and wish they would open other locations closer to my home. Lulu’s is worlds better than Seedz café which is near my home.

Their tater tots and dipping sauce are fantastic. Finally broke out of my mold of the Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap(love that thing) for the Bahn Mi Tacos and I did not regret it. Great, local, fresh food, and they’re always super friendly. Even better on this beautiful day with the outdoor seating.

I needed to find something for lunch quick, fresh, and gluten free for a last-minute client we had come into the studio. I walked into Lulu’s right when they opened(11:30), and they had no problem getting an order for 10 people ready in less than 30 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I ordered Kale Salads, Banh Mi Bowls, Lulu Tacos, Power Protein Quinoa Bowls, Banh Mi Tacos, and Chipotle Black Bean Bowls. The food went over splendidly at the studio! We set up family-style so everyone could try a bit of everything. The Lulu’s Tacos were delicious with savory mushrooms and sweet potatoes. The Kale Salad was fantastic and light. If you like a kick of spice, the Banh Mi bowl and taco is a great choice. Two of our photographers asked if we could order Lulu’s everyday, and even our food stylist ditched her personal lunch to eat what I had ordered from Lulu’s. Thanks for the fantastic service, Lulu’s!

First visit to the restaurant. There was a line to order but food was very quick(take out). People were chatting it up with the very nice host so it took longer. Order ahead to avoid the line. I ordered the sweet potato bean burger and tator tots. Very good flavors on the burger but the texture is hard to get over. Although they attempt to address it with a Panko breading. It’s just hard to avoid with bean burgers. I’m looking forward to a return to enjoy the cute patio

Met some friends for dinner. We shared the Buffalo cauliflower. Nice amount of heat. My entrée was the Thai Crunch Wrap. It had tons of flavor, with tofu, nuts, and veggies. Someone had the hummus which was served with cucumbers and pita. The other entrees were the black bean tacos and a bowl with veggies and avocado. Great night to sit outside too!

Lulus eat was a delish! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something healthy and delicious. It has a really clean, nice patio so you could eat outside, and their menu are creative. I only give four stars because the sauce in the thai burrito wrap wasn’t that good and cauliflower nuggets were too salty. I think a little more tanginess to the taste would make it perfect!

Ever home was very nice and the place is so cute!!! We opted to sit on the patio, 80 degrees and sunny, perfect patio weather. Anyhow, I got the Lulu’s Bahn-Mi tacos with a kale salad and my dining companion had the other taco option with the avocado(sorry, the name escapes me). We both loved our dishes! And ahe also got the boozy oatmeal cookie-which she loved. $ 12 for my lunch, healthy, tasty and fun. We will be back!

Had dinner here the other night on our way across MO to Kansas City. We found this place on Unilocal and wanted to have a healthy meal after primarily eating snacks all day in the car. This place is in a cute neighborhood with pay street parking, and has indoor and out door seating. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and then deliver your food to you. It’s self service for cups and water if that’s what you are drinking, and you grab your own utensils and napkins. At the end of your meal they ask that you bus your own tables. The interior décor is cute with lots of color and art. Food was very good — we both had the Kale Crunch Salads with avocado. We received large bowls of raw curly-leaf kale, with cucumbers, carrots, red peppers and a slightly spicy peanut sauce/dressing. They were fresh and delicious! Took a star off though because they forgot the avocado(which you pay extra for) and then brought both servings in a single bowl AFTER we waited an additional 10 min. But I would go here again and think they have a great looking healthy menu!

New spring menu! Everything is delicious. Service is 5 stars. They even plate things well in the to go containers! This is the spring roll bowl and it’s so yummy. Their burgers and tacos are great for this time of the year as well.

Lulu’s really doesn’t need my two-cents review but the food warrants some appreciation because everything I’ve ever had here has been delicious. The Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap with a side of tots is my goto lunch when stopping through this charming spot. One word of advice is to take the time to stop and enjoy your food in-restaurant; because everything here is so flavorful and succulent, it can very quickly get soggy and not so crisp, so slow down for while and have a nice meal and enjoy your selection while it’s still hot and fresh just like Lulu intended.

The food here was like a new crush, when it’s so good and all-encompassing that you’re still thinking about it hours and probably days and weeks later. I loved this place so much. It’s all vegan, but there is a little something for every vegan-friendly eater, from the super health conscious to the junk food fanatic. I had the Buffalo Blue Cheese burger. I don’t know how they sublimated a blue cheese sauce, but ahhh… I loved that the burger did not pretend to be meat as many veggie burgers make the mistake of doing. Instead, it was it’s own hearty combo of flavors from black bean to sweet potato. I think I even caught a hint of fennel in there, which I normally hate, but actually really loved in this. The tater tots with just a hint of spicy were also excellent. I want to bring everyone I know and try every dish. If only we lived closer…

AMAZING vegan eats! I was so impressed with Lulu’s, and I’m so happy I finally got to try it out after months of driving past it. The menu is surprisingly vast, sure to please even meat eaters. I tried to Buffalo Cauliflower and it was a WIN. Unique and delicious, you can’t help but eat all of them. The dining room was clean and pleasant, the staff was friendly, and the prices were absolutely reasonable for such fresh cuisine. I was absolutely impressed. I will be back!

Lulu’s Local Eatery has consistently been my go-to spot for vegan comfort food. The restaurant is nestled in the hipster Tower Grove neighborhood among a variety of ecclectic shops and restaurants. Order and pay up-front and then relax and wait for your vegan delicacies to be served tableside by friendly staff. I’m excited to try many more dishes at Lulu’s. Some favorites: — Loaded Nacho Tots: Order anything and everything with tots. Perfectly crisp and smothered with a creamy butternut squash«cheese» sauce and all the toppings. These are always my favorite. — Winter quinoa bowl: Served with tender roasted vegetables and a satisfying pesto sauce. My quinoa was slightly overcooked once but it never stops me from ordering this every time. — Mac n cheese: Spirally gf noodles are topped with a rich, you won’t believe it’s not cheese, butternut squash ‘cheese’ sauce. Epitome of comfort food. — Buffalo cauliflower: This is the perfectly shareable bar food that you never knew you were missing in your life. — Sweet potato falafel sandwich: Need I say more? — Enchilada: Smothered with their rich ‘cheese’ sauce and oh so filling. I took home leftovers even as a member of the clean plate club. — Kale salad: Perfectly marinated and the perfect side. I can’t wait to see what tasty, vegan concoctions Lulu’s will bring next and for many more fabulous and filling meals.

Great atmosphere, staff so friendly. Menu has a huge variety. Healthy vegan options. Tried the sweet potato falafel sandwich, was scrumptious but cannot beat the cauliflower buffalo bites. Holy 4th of July. That was a party in our mouths. A little greasy but so flavorful. Definitely a keeper for my vegan daughter.

As a vegetarian/mostly vegans my wife and I are used to finding what we can at most restaurants. Occasionally though, we find a place where we can order anything and be happy — such was the case at Lulu’s Local Eatery. We fell so much in instant love with the menu that between my wife and I and her daughter, we ordered five things off the menu so we could try as much as possible. We all shared and we all enjoyed everything. The service was extremely friendly, the space was cozy and the food, oh the food. We can’t wait to go back.

I feel like I keep discovering little gems in St. Louis that I barely hear anyone talk about. And Lulu’s is definitely one of them. Lulu’s is setup with the popular trend of «fast casual» where you order at the counter and they bring you the meal. And they aren’t kidding. We received our first entrée in under 5 minutes of ordering. To preface, I’m a carnivore and could probably eat a steak everyday and be pretty happy. I was pretty impressed by how delicious all the food was and the last thing I was missing was meat. The Buffalo Cauliflower had all the tastes, textures and familiarity of a meat dish, but I think I enjoyed it more because it was so unique. I think Lulu’s is a fun place that a lot of people would enjoy. And I’d love to hear their name mentioned more as one of St. Louis’ best restaurants.

When you see 5 stars you immediately want a review that’ll definitely support that rating. So won’t bore you with subliminal content: 1. PUNCHCARD perks! 2. Location is convenient and easy to spot on the corner of S. Grand and Humphrey 3. Food fresh & cooked to order 4. Delicious vegan options even carnivores will love 5. Pleasant customer service Those are the top five reason LuLu’s gets 5 stars across the board in my book. But I’ll go on… –Portions are plentiful. –iPad on a swivel stand for expedited checkout. –Hippy spot, awesome music, clean restroom, good for groups or a casual date night. –Inviting space with plenty of sunshine and openness to people watch on S. Grand –Patio is large as well. Other coolness includes a few of my favorite dishes; Black Bean Burrito(I sub the brown rice for quinoa), the Buffalo Cauliflower(AMAZING! you’ll never want buffalo wings again), General Tso Bowl. They have hard plastic cups for the general public but I ask for my H2O in the chilled mason jar with ice balls. You can also catch their Food Truck at one of the truck stop events.

I’m not a big fan of vegetarian food. I definitely need and crave my meat. I’ve walked by this place numerous times and figured I would check it out today. I had to refer to my handy Unilocal app on some guidance on what to order. I opted for the sweet potato falafel and buffalo cauliflower. the sweet potato falafel was really great. it had a good balance of savory and freshness on the plate. they don’t skimp out on their portions. the buffalo cauliflower was amazing. when you first taste it, it gives you a hard kick in the face but you want it again and again. I’ll be back to try some other things on the menu.
