Factory Card Outlet

Just a note, this is actually a Party City, not a Factory Card Outlet as indicated.
Anyways I needed some last minute balloons for a party this weekend and decided to give Party City a try since they sold latex balloons and they even would inflate some balloons that were purchased at another store for a low price. I had called ahead so they knew that I would be arriving shortly. Once I arrived the staff was friendly and promptly took my order. One employee told me that it would be a few minutes and they would be back with my order. They were very friendly and accommodating considering the last minute order.
While waiting I was able to stroll the store, and I was amazed at the selection of party items, this store is very large and clean. If I am ever in the South County area and in need of party items I will be sure to return to this store.

This location has come a LONG way from years ago. I was in awe of the merchandising. Sections of were easily organized and cross-​merchandised, so while a specific item may be located in multiple locations around the store, it is marketed where appropriate (i.e. green bead necklaces will be in the section with green graduation colors as well as the «disco» section as well as the Mardi Gras section) so you don’t have to run all around the store picking up all the items you need for a specific location. However, that doesn’t mean I didn’t have a fantastic time looking at ALL the items in the store! The selection has improved a lot over the years… they even carry trash bags for party cleanup!!! Ha! Can’t think of a thing that I could need for an event that they didn’t carry.
One thing they lost a star for: there still seems to be an inventory problem with «off season» merchandise. The «Halloween» section is located in the back of the store, and while they technically keep it displayed year-​round, there are several empty spots that should be filled in with available merchandise, and it is used as a staging area for merchandise that needs to be stocked elsewhere in the store, so while I was looking for glitter hairspray that is located in this section, I was stepping over shipping boxes.
Overall…GREAT selection, fantastic customer service (employees offered help more than once), and aside from the Halloween section, the store was clean and well-​maintained.

I love their card selection, not to mention you’re not going to break the bank with whatever you choose. If you’re looking for anything to throw a party and you didn’t find it anywhere else, you will most certainly find it here.

Actually this is now a Part City they merged or whatever. Well they sure didn’t train the guy at the register how to use it. The receipt jammed, he didn’t know how to reprint it. So for a $ 9 credit card charge, he made me wait 10 minutes for the manager to get finished with some other people, before they were able to reprint the receipt! They insisted I had to wait, and sign it. Even though I know for a fact, Visa does not require signatures for any transaction under $ 25. Believe me if I would have had a $ 10 bill, I’d of slammed it on the counter and left! I am so tired of corporate america hiring the cheapest person they can find. Who hasn’t a f***** clue what they are doing!

This is the perfect place to go if you need anything related to parties, weddings, mardi gras, or any other celebratory event.
They have nearly everything here. They have a ton of cards to choose from, mostly cheesy, but cheap and occasionally decent. The wrapping paper selection is solid and you can find cheap, quality paper for nearly any occasion. They have a huge assortment of mardi gras beads that are far cheaper than anything you could find in Soulard as well. A few years back, i managed to decorate myself just fine for under $ 10…blinking beads and all. Also, you can order balloons for parties, and they always are ready on time and cheaper than any other party supply store in the city. (I know, I have sadly called around enough to know this fact).
Also, a huge assortment of Hannah Montana party themed garbage… what can I say, something had to knock off a star… Miley Cyrus being plastered everywhere will simply have that affect on me.
