Very nice ladies in the salon but my mani/pedi was pretty bad. They do not use shellac polish and do not have the ability to remove it. So she just put polish over the shellac – it honestly looks like a kid did it. Be sure to be specific when you call as I had no idea there were still salons that didn’t do shellac. All in all, it was a pretty expensive fail.

I am new to the city. I was looking for a new barber. I guess I should have known this wasn’t the place For me when all I saw were older white employees. Then the went to back to fetch the only black employee… I won’t give too many details lets just say. It wasn’t my best experience

Save yourselves! Do NOT go here! I went in for a cut and conditioning treatment. By the end of the treatment I didn’t trust the woman to cut my hair. She treated me like a rag doll and was super rough. Meanwhile a women came in to get her eyebrows waxed and someone brushed her eyebrows with a dirty TOOTHBRUSH! Yuck! I ended up paying $ 50 for a conditioning treatment and a blow-dry! Are you kidding me?! The price list would have added up to $ 45 but I think the women knew I wasn’t going to tip her and said she added $ 5 because my hair was longer. My hair is not even on my shoulders! I’m never going there again!

My boyfriend was the one who actually discovered this place, his praises were so great I just had to check it out! I recently donated my hair, for a very long time I was only getting the ends trimmed, so I really had no idea how much I was missing out on with the wonderful treatment and joys of having my hair actually *STYLED*! Rosalie did a beautiful job, I had no idea what I wanted, just something cute and easy to take care of that would show off my natural waves and curls. Shampoo, condition, styling, and then a blow dry was a total $ 45! Money definitely well spent, I was really impressed and really loved the job she did!

Visiting St. Louis and found great references on Unilocal. The Sheraton have me a few choices, too. So glad I came here!!! Pete greeted me as if I was a regular and Betty cut my hair. Her experience and friendly manner made my day. I lovey hair cut!!!

I got a great haircut from the charming and clever Rosalie. Possibly the best ever. Anyway, highly recommended, and bring some cash, ’cause you can’t put the tip on your CC for some odd reason.

Tony was amazing! Probably the best haircut I’ve had, and it was under $ 30. Make sure and bring cash for the tip, as they don’t have a tip line if you pay with card. That’s all.

WOW! So I a was travelling on business to St Louis and upon check in at the hotel, I asked for a recommendation for a haircut. Nothing fancy, just a «buisiness» cut. They had nothing! I mean the closest place they could even remotely suggest was Clayton. OK enough of them. I looked on Unilocal(St Louis) and came up with Executive Salons. I called and got an appt. immediately with Becky. The sweetest person with a brand chocoltae lab(Dutch). Got a quick professional haircut. In a pinch or got time to spare go with Executive. I can ‘t speak for the ladies services, but I am sold. Highly recommend!

I can’t believe I’ve neglected a review of Executive Salon for this long. Mind you, I’m a male, so the general level of expectation of my haircut is usually«do I still have both ears?» Needless to say, ExSal(my truncated name for them) exceeds those expectations. Not only can guys get a reasonably priced and competent cut, but there are plenty of services available for the fairer sex. Also, they have a decent selection of «salon level» products(included Aveda). Only negative is that tips are cash only, so make sure you bring some green with you!

I was in St. Louis for a wedding and needed a mani pedi. I thought it would be pretty easy to walk around and find a nail salon but St. Louis is fairly depressed economically and a lot of places seem to have gone out of business. I finally found a few salons but each one of them had an excuse — no appointments; «our water tubs are broken»(wtf?); our manicurist has swine flu, etc. Finally I got a recommendation to try Executive Salon and they could take me right away, just walking in. Carol was very sweet and nice to chat with, professional and very clean and neat. They have a really nice pedicure chair with a foot spa, which you wouldn’t expect walking into the place(its in the back behind a little partitian. The guy behind the counter was a little surly and I caught him looking at his facebook — he must have been at least 40, so that was kind of sad. I paid $ 65 for a french manicure and a pedi. It probably took an hour and a quarter. Its not very fancy but they get the job done!

Old barbershop feel, complete with shoeshines. Not an overpriced«day spa», but not a cookie-cutter strip-mall salon with short-term employees that see customers as parts on the assembly line. Best place for a haircut I’ve found within 5 miles of the Arch.
