Elan Salon

Great place! I’ve been to many salons in the last few years and have had work done by many stylists… Lauren at Élan Salon is my absolute favorite. Both my daughter and I see her for ‘all over hair color’ and cut. She’s simply the best. Not the cheapest place, but well worth the money. I have yet to be disappointed.

I have been coming here for years. I always try to see Heather, but all of the girls do such a great job with long wavy hair, you can’t go wrong.
Make sure you tip the shampoo women well. They take great care of you and make you feel as if you are on vacation if only for 10 min.

Super talented, professional, and a great experience. Amanda did my hair and makeup for our wedding (actually, she and another stylist opened the salon early to do my whole party’s hair, too) and I was the prettiest bride I will ever be. Our wedding was Sept 1 IN ST LOUIS (HOT), and I didn’t sweat off any makeup, and the pictures are perfect (hair and makeup) right through to the end of the night. I sent Amanda a note later basically asking if she could make me that pretty every day;) I highly recommend this salon!

I recently had my first visit to Élan Salon. I had called on a Wednesday and was pleased to find out I was able to get in that Saturday! The person who took my call asked me what I wanted (just a trim and new layers put in) and about my hair type. She used this info to match me up with a hairdresser, Amanda. I thought this was a nice touch.
That Saturday I arrived a little early to my appointment. I was still greeted promptly and took back early by Amanda who was very friendly. I had an overall great experience with my wash and cut! Typically, they offer to blowdry your hair for you, but I had asked not to bother as I was on my way to a yoga class shortly after. Amanda recommended a hair product (argan oil) to protect my hair during my hot yoga classes!
It was a little on the pricey side, but I will gladly pay more for someone who knows what they’re doing than go to a cheap place and face dealing a haircut disaster! I would definitely go back!

It’s expensive, but worth it. I’ve been going here for a long time and have seen 3 different stylists. The hair cuts are very well done and blow outs are great. The stylists and front desk workers are friendly. I just had a drastic (for me) haircut done and it was a great experience. The mani pedis by Irina are DIVINE! They last WAY longer than any others that I’ve ever had. She books fast so book early. I would trust everyone who works here to do a great job. High quality.
