In the past, I’ve always had great luck with Dominos and the online tracker. This one wasn’t so accurate — when I checked back after 35 minutes, I was told they were preparing my pizza for delivery. So, naturally, I called an hour later when nothing came. I asked about my order, and, before I had the order number, the clerk gave me the street name for verification.(Hopefully it was done by my phone number.) I confirmed, and he said the driver had just left. Half an hour later, I called a second time, and the same person picks up. I give the order number, and someone takes the phone from him, and says«He’s coming.» In asking whether that meant he’s nearby or he’s lost, as the area could be confusing, the clerk repeated that short phrase and hung up on me. When it was finally delivered(another fifteen minutes later), the driver pulled up on the wrong block and had to be walked through getting to the house on the phone with me standing in the yard and waving. Forgets to hand me the receipt initially and was surprised when I opened the boxes to make sure they were close to what I ordered. I should’ve stayed on the porch in the light, so I could’ve seen the food. I’m not sure I should’ve tipped as much either. One pizza was perfect(and relatively warm, but still in need of the microwave), which is great. The other, well, I’ve never seen something like it really. We ordered a specialty pizza with several toppings and sauce. We got a cold pizza which was cut with a arc on every slice, cold, and had one topping and a cheese, neither of which we ordered. One star because their delivery was open almost the entirety of this month. One star for the half of the order we asked for.

Worst service from any Dominos. Cancelled my order and didn’t tell me until I called them over an hour after it was placed. Very rude on the phone but it’s the store that delivers to me. Every time the food has been cold, very late, or the driver has what looks like 5 other people joyriding around while they are delivering food. Worst service ever to the point corporate was called.

As of right now, I do not have my order although the website states it was delivered over 15 minutes ago. Very very unhappy and will tell others!!!

Say what you will about Domino’s: their reinvented pizzas are pretty good(especially for $ 5 or $ 6, they’re a huge improvement over the historically mediocre product). I’ve ordered from several of the area locations and this is the only one that’s yet given me pause. The Lindell store might make you wait for a few minutes when they get backed up with orders. The Chippewa store had trouble with my gift card once. The store on 9th buzzes in carryout customers(at least during certain hours of the day) which feels a little strange, although they’re perfectly nice about it. None of these shops have ever messed up an order or made a substitution without asking though. Ordering a sandwich + pizza combo from the Kingshighway store recently, I ended up waiting about 45 minutes(well beyond the 25 minute window suggested online) for a pizza(correct) and wings(tasty, but not the sandwich requested). It was probably an off night, but how does that swap happen?

Disclaimer: We usually opt for more local pizza options, but there are times when we would rather not leave the house. Domino’s was the only place that would deliver to our address(in the City) besides Imo’s(eew). The first two times we had pizza delivered from this location, it was fine. The next time, the person who answered the phone told us that they do not deliver to our location. She was very rude. After we convinced her that we had gotten deliveries before, we ordered. She didn’t know and couldn’t pronounce several of the menu options. Then, she overcharged us because we didn’t mention the latest deal. Do we really need to say we want 2 mediums for $ 5.99 if we order 2 mediums? It’s all over your stupid ads! We talked to the manager and he was not very apologetic. He did offer us a free pizza on our next order. However, when we called back to redeem the free pizza the person on the phone gives us the same run around about not delivering to our address. I’m through with Domino’s. The people who answer the phone here are often rude, unaware of their own menu, and just plain not helpful. The ‘manager’ seems to not take this very seriously. I don’t really trust them to treat my food with respect.
