Bare Escentuals

My relationship with BE started over 10 years ago at the old Galleria location. I do most of my ordering online these days but when I’m in a pinch, I will pop into this store. They’re always super nice. They make an effort to sell me extra stuff but there’s no major pushback when I decline. (Trust me. I get suckered into the online flash sales often enough that I really don’t need to be buying anything besides foundation on the regular.) If you ever aren’t sure how to use a product or aren’t getting the results you want from something, all you have to do is ask for help. My only complaint has nothing at all to do with the store. Usually I’m dashing in there quickly after work and it is darn near impossible to get a parking spot anywhere near the mall entrance by the Cheesecake Factory. I wish they were closer to the garage. Surface parking at the Galleria is a cluster.

I have been to MANY Bare Escentuals stores, and have never experienced such stellar service as this one. Seriously so over the top helpful. I was immediately greeted by a friendly face with a big smile. Her name was Sarah. Such a sweet lady! I asked her for «warmth,» which she happily retrieved. We then had a discussion about liquid foundations. I didn’t know they started a new line in May, and she found the match for me and tried it on. She took her time to go over other products I didn’t know about but was interested in, and the ones that I love she wrote down for me. So not pushy or over the top «sales pitchy.» To top it all off she told me about their FAB program (rewards program), that I had no clue about. I have been purchasing Bare Minerals for years (in California) and never knew about this! She signed me up, and gave me an awesome lip gloss for a birthday gift! Such a good experience at this location. There was another lady working at the time, that was also so sweet and helpful. Easy location, easy experience, and super service! LOVE!

This place is amazing, and the staff is amazing. My face has never looked better than it does with Bare Escentuals/​Minerals. They actually teach people how to take care of their skin, which is amazing!

My little sister and I came in a few weeks ago as I only needed one item and planned to walk in, buy and get out quick. But Megan approached us and thankfully educated me on the fact that the item I was buying wasn’t right for my skin type. Next thing we knew we were both getting free full-​face makeovers. Thank you Megan for all of the new tips and tricks you taught us. I’m loving my eyebrow kit, it has made such a difference. I can’t wait to come in and buy matte foundation — it’s fantastic.

I have walked past Bare Escentuals and seen people being taught how to apply makeup. I have an event tonight and thought it would be a good day to go, get my makeup done and learn a trick or too. I called them before to let them know when I was planning on coming. (They thanked me later for doing this so I recommend it!) I went asking how to make my eyes smokey and sexy. Not only did they teach me that but also foundation, did my lips, taught me the works.
Maggie was the employee that was helping me. She was fabulous, patient and such a good teacher. But the whole crew there seemed friendly, competent and helpful because they kept stopping by the chair and making funny, encouraging comments. It was such an enjoyable experience.
I would recommend B. E to anyone, just make sure you leave enough time because I ended up spending over an hour there but well worth my time and I walked out with some awesome products :)
