So I was at home busy finishing up with my marketing plan on a saturday. So I decided to watch a TV for a while, I tuned into Travel Channel and they are showing Rib Paradise and thats how my cravings kicked in lol. I live close to B & L so i decided to check it out to see whats up with the place and get some ribs. I went in there, it was slow and IU was the only one there. The place is easy to miss if you are not carefull. I order half slab ribs and two side order of mac and cheese. 120−15min later my order came out. In the main time I was on Unilocal on my black berry trying to look for this place just to get a review. Took me forever to find it. Well I paid like $ 12 for my food which i was thinking maybe a lil too much but I dont know since I dont eat often at barbque places but anywaze got my order came home and eat. OVerall the for was okay, Portion of food was little small compare to what I was expectingfor the Ribs. It was good food though overall, mac and cheese was OKAY, I have had better mac before. The Ribs was okay but I am still planning on check out some other places in town since I just started this Rib cravings lol. Overall it’s a place worth checking out, next time when I go I will probably try other items on the menu.

This joint opened up just before Thanksgiving. I may not have the address completely right because it’s not listed anywhere on the internet. I went in on a Friday night to grab a sandwich and noticed that the«Mrs. Poochies’ Barbeque» sign in the window. Now I wrote a review of Mrs. Poochies’ earlier, and I gave it a decent review. The menu does look somewhat familiar, with some rib and chicken choices and a few pork offerings. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. The potato salad was really great, but the pulled pork, while generous in portion, had a too-sweet sauce and not enough smokiness. The worst part of my visit, though, was that it took 25 minutes for my order. The cashier wasn’t the friendliest, and something was going on in the back, because the cook showed up after I had been there fifteen minutes. My sandwich came out ten minutes later. I shouldn’t have had to wait that long for a sandwich with meat that I know was ‘cued earlier in the day(although I can’t swear to that.) In any case, I believe in second chances. I will go back and try the ribs. If they can’t do those right, we’re done and I haul my ass to Pappy’s.
