I went here a couple weeks ago and have to say– wasn’t too impressed. It wasn’t too busy when my friends and I came in and staff wasn’t too friendly. Seemed like the staff had a group of friends there and really only helped out their friends. The bartender came off as rude and I had to get her attention multiple times to get a second glass of wine.
Wine selection, honestly wasn’t that great. They only had one white wine, which I guess I understand, not everyone drinks white but come on! Have more than one!
They have some fun games and a cool lounge area. It’s really clean as well, I just wish that the service was better. Probably won’t go back.

A different place to go if you are looking for an after work place to chill. Great wine selections as well as beers. It has never been too crowded but is usually pretty lively. Try a wine flight if you aren’t sure what to drink.

Great idea in a small strip mall. Unique wine selection featuring local producers. Beer selection is ample for IPA fans. Televisions are well situated. The bones of a good business are here. However, the service to non locals is non existent. Well not that bad but the person behind the bar could not tear herself away from her phone to pay attention to the fact I sat down. This is a cool place but if you wish to experience any sense of local pride of ownership or get the warm and fuzzies you will not get this here. Again I am not a local but it is crystal clear that regulars and locals warrant the attention of the house.

Best pizza. Ever. Crust was outstanding. Thin and crunchy. Limited and unique selection which I find to be refreshing. Plenty of wine and beer on tap. Three TVs for your sports viewing pleasure. Free wifi. Decent happy hour.

My girlfriend and I had a great time here with some friends the other day. It’s small, but have a great wine selection and some great beers on tap. The bartender was great and often some great recommendations. We will definitely be back

This place is okay… I have been here twice. The staff could be nicer. The first time I went it was super busy, so I totally understand the bartender being stressed and not having time to be friendly with everyone. The second time it was way less busy and she still came off as not nice. Kind of off putting.
Decent wine selection, not very many options for the beer they had on tap (when I was there) but they do have a lot of bottled options.

Great wine and beer, horrible customer service. I’ve given the Wine Shed a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chance and EVERY TIME it disappoints. If you’re okay with waiting about 15 mins to order your wine, then having to finally walk up to the counter to order it, then waiting another 10 mins for the drink, then I guess you’ll be okay. I would recommend taking your $ 12 elsewhere for an equally as good glass of wine.

Was just driving through town and stopped here to visit a friend. The owner of this establishment is the nicest person and works the bar herself. This is a bar where the staff will know your name.

I’ve dropped in here with colleagues after work more than a few times (we’re now proud members of the Beer Brigade). Every time I’ve come in has been great. There’s more than ample seating and the beer selection is immense. They have 4 draughts, and another eight for wine, as well as fridges stocked with specialty brews. There’s always something new to try here. If you’re in the mood for a snack, they have delicious pizzas for around $ 10. Every so often, you’ll see Callie, an incredibly friendly pup, wandering around when Christa is working. We’ll keep coming back for pizza and beer on a Friday night, or any other day of the week. Great place!

I’ve been here twice, both times I had a horrible experience. The woman who works there is just awful. I sat at the bar asked her to recommend a lager beer. She kept recommending everything but what I asked about. I thought, ok she doesn’t know beer, no big deal, I’ll just try something different. Well that never happened, she stopped acknowledging my brother and I, even after I tried getting her attention twice. We ended up leaving without ever ordering anything. We went to The Graduate after that, great beer, food & service. I hope the woman at the Wine Shed isn’t the owner, or she is screwed. The place has potential, just needs to learn about customer service or get a new bartender.

This is a great happy hour or after-​work stop! I’m in every week to try out the latest on the list. Be it beer or wine, pretzels or pizza, it hits the spot for me. Good atmosphere and a lovely bunch of ladies behind the bar. One of my go-​to spots in SLO!

Great wine selection! The service is lacking! It is hard to get service, especially if you are not sitting at the bar. I have stopped going because it would take between 30 – 40 minutes to get my first glass or taste.

I was joining my wife and coworker to relax and talk over a glass of wine on June 26 at 5:30. My wife and I have been here before and we enjoyed the low key atmosphere and pleasant servers. This visit was different. My wife and coworker had arrived 20 – 25 minutes before me and had yet to be served. The business was lite, about seven patrons. My wife informed me that after the waitress had been ‘busy’ talking to other patrons for about 15 minutes and ignoring them, she had gone up to the bar to inquire about service. The dark haired waitress/​bartender had been rude and walked away to continue talking to another patron. We promptly left. We will be watching out for who is working at any future visit.

What a nice place! When I’ve gone, it’s been a really great place to hang out, with no pretense. It feels as if it’s a safe and warm environment, compared to other places (eg downtown). The bartender… Britney I think her name was, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, and found some perfect ones for me!
Definitely will be back!

My wife and I have been here a few times, and everytime we leave happy. My wife enjoys the wine flights, and I enjoy the beer selection. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and NO attitudes. We’ll be back for sure!

Great ownership and good local atmosphere. I love the rotating beer and wine on tap. Next time I want to try the pizzas, they look delicious. Good place for Friends and conversation. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is cute. I like all of the local wine and beers they feature. Décor is minimal, but very clean. I love the chairs surrounding the fireplace. I went with a group of friends on a Friday evening. It wasn’t too packed. It was definitely a more mature crowd, which was good because the college kids can go to all other places that don’t card.
Overall, this is a great place to grab a drink or two after dinner!

Good local wines, nice selection of beers and the décor is cool and laid back. Either hang out at the bar or kick it on the tables by the fireplace. Nice place. Older crowd so no crazy college students.
I just wish they had a better food selection. Don’t they know drinking makes people hungry?!
