I love this franchise, but I prefer to drive to Union City. No bathroom to wash hands, we have to wait until 30 min. Small space.

Poor service! Never answers the phone and when they do they leave it un hold even if they are not helping anyone. Everyone there has poor customer service specially the girl that answers the phone.

I know this place too well. I am giving them one star because their food is consistently good. But everything else about this Wingstop location fails and the biggest problem is customer service. They take online and phone orders and consider each person who calls or places an order ahead of the queue of customers waiting in line. This means that ordering online is the best and quickest option to getting your order in and lots of people do this. Even worse, when you actually go into the store and want to just pick up your order, you have to wait in line after everyone else just to get your order and the line can be very bad at peak times like rush hour. I once waited 45 mins to get my order here too. But I’m a sucker for Wingstop so I keep coming back.

Update to my previous review — unfortunately last night’s meal was disappointing. We were looking forward to some wings, ordered by phone and were told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there and waited in a short line to get our food. The place was filthy. I get that it can get super busy here and maybe cleaning up the place isn’t a priority compared to serving the people who are waiting in line but come on now, the trash on the floor looked like it was accumulated over hours, the toothpick dispenser was covered all over with ketchup and tables with trash on top. Anyway, we picked up our food and left. Our bad we didn’t check to make sure our order was right but we’ve never had a problem before which is why we don’t. Finally after getting home we realized that our order was wrong. We ordered boneless wings and crispy fries. Fries tasted soggy and we got bone in wings. The wings had the layer of chewy skin still in tact and just tasted weird. So unsatisfied with our order.

Maybe it’s this particular location, because i never have had issues at other wing stops… On 1 occasion, i ordered online, 2 separate orders. My given wait time was 25 minutes, so I showed up 35 minutes later to make sure I had given them extra time for whatever they may have needed to do. When i got there, i STILL had to wait, neither order was ready, and they weren’t even packed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided not to post a review. 2nd occasion i called my order in. I had to repeat my order 3 times because the person who picked up the phone either wasn’t paying attention, or just didn’t know how to do his job. When i got there my order was STILL wrong. The cashier/same guy who answered the phone talked to the cook about the issue. The cook acted confused & after some time I told them just forget it, I’ll take what’s here if you would just please add some seasoning to the fries. The cook got an attitude and told me i needed to «just hold on for a minute» i explained that i did not«have a minute» which is why i called in my order. I never did get my correct order and he acted like he had a problem seasoning the fries(which had no seasoning whatsoever) This wing stop is closer to my house but i would rather drive to Helgenberger than deal with the workers at Bayfair, PLUS they don’t have a drink machine!(They have fountain drinks behind the counter, but not the cool machine with ALL the flavors) Don’t waist your time!

If I could put negative stars I would! The service was rude and rushed. The wait was 1hr for 6 wings??? Crazy! Also wings weren’t that great. I will never go there again. Oh, and it’s ghetto as hell just FYI. If you decide to go there. Good luck, hope your experience is better than mine, but I doubt it.

Before coming to this wingstop, I had gone to the one in Westlake a couple of times. The last visit there left me a bit disappointed… Well after moving to Oakland, I came across this one while wanting making my way to Target. I ordered a 10 piece Lemon Pepper & Mild & was amazed at how good it was. The chicken pieces weren’t too big(which I liked) & crispy as well. Since then I’ve gotten a mix of Lemon Pepper, Mild, & Garlic Parmesan. I will say however I’ve always had to wait for about 20+ minutes for my order of chicken alone. So now I order ahead or just take a walk around to the other stores nearby.

I would say I just came home from trying the chicken wings at this location… everybody I knew that eats chicken wings will always say: «go to Wing stop!, best chicken wings in the world…», so I went. I might say the place was not very comfortable for me and the food wasn’t even hot. I did not like the chicken wings at all and for every order you got to wait around 15 – 20 min.!, I just honestly didn’t like the food or place but the guest service is very nice.

Slow, rude, careless, nothing especial. Theres always something wrong with my order, last time i ordered in store since i had time, they took about 45 mins and they were still cold in the middle. Costumer service is non existent and this location is just ghetto, avoid at all cost.

I’m going to start by saying, I understand half of these peoples complaints, HOWEVER, sometimes you just have to find what works for you, as a regular customer I know this place not only takes a while to answer our calls but also takes a while to have our food ready. So I usually order over the phone to avoid waiting long periods of time for my food to be ready. I do have to agree a lot of the workers here look like they are not having a «good» time at work, but I honestly don’t blame them, every time I’m in there even I as a customer get overwhelmed. People that come to this location sometimes are not the most pleasant to deal with and to top it off they tend to be ignorant. I think it’s a great place to get a quick bite to eat, as long as you call ahead. :)

This stupid Fool in your store restaurantwith the rat ponytail going to give me some smart attitude right now tonight is my last time ever stepping in your store and should be for anybody trying to get some food I took here and I spent $ 15 on Über and now that we’re is going to the Oakland airport and now I have to find another way of transportation because your employees Chosen to close the restaurant 15 minutes early and told me to get the fuck off. he said I’m the boss I tell the hours. then he proceeded to go and hide in the back employee not a manager.

I usually eat here all the time, and my experience is usually pleasant but not this time. I tried using my temporary debit card issued by Bank of America, and the ladies at the register denied my purchase because my name was not on the card even though I could use my PIN number for purchases. I had to drive across the street just to use an ATM machine. I understand that there are a lot of fraudulent cards, but that is not the case for every customer. I felt embarrassed because I was denied to use my card, wing stop needs to give customers the options to use their PIN numbers to avoid this issue in the future.

Pros: Good Boneless Chicken, Next to A Mall Cons: Slow Service, I recommend ordering ahead by calling or mobile app, but I tried placing a order to pick up at 8:00PM but they never received my order and didn’t have it ready, so I mean… want to take that risk? I waited one hour two days ago, just for my boneless chicken, because at certain times they are all backed up in the kitchen, but I wish they can sincerely apologize to their customers and not rudely say, «Oh wait 10 more minutes». I understand it can get stressful sometimes, but doesn’t mean you have to release your rudeness to your customers. Keep it to yourself, and wait until the end of the shift.

They are hella rude!!! First the phone rings like 25 times before they pick up, then they keep you on hold for 10mins right before they hang up on you! Then when you try to call back… the phone is constantly busy! Is this how a business is supposed to operate?

Poorly managed. They don’t know what to do during an order rush. Easily confused with complex orders. Cooking staff don’t put enough effort into cooking the wings to order. Cashiers give you an attitude.

This is my second review for Wingstop and I think all locations in Union City, Hayward, and San Leandro have the WORST customer service but I needed to talk about an experience I had at this place which was outrageous! It was the night of September 26th. My brother ordered online and it said that it’ll be ready in 20 minutes, this was about 8:20pm. My brother and I arrived at Wingstop at about 8:45pm and per usual, their greetings are nonexistent, no smiles, and when they speak, it sounds like they hate their job. We told them that we ordered online and of course, they did not have it ready. We had to wait another 15 minutes until they gave us our order. Side note: While we were waiting, another customer asked if they give discounts. The lady at the register said she was going to ask her manager so she called her over. The manager said they did not… When we took the bag to check to see if our order was correct, the MANAGER came out, practically yelling, that the bag was HERFOOD. She took it and went out to socialize with a friend outside of the store… UMOK. So we just stood there and kept waiting, and it was another 15 minutes after that to get our food??? THISWHOLEEXPERIENCEWASSERIOUSLYNOTOK. ITTOOKSOLONGTOGETOURFOOD and the manager didn’t even care to help get our food ready, instead she took her food and went outside and socialized. Every time I walk into Wing stop, I just do not understand how management can hire these people? They should be lucky to have a job.

Insanley rude staff with horrible people/customer service skills. I was hung up on after waiting on hold for 20minutes to have my order taken. I just walked in and the ghetto ass girl taking the orders was so damn rude, and short to me and the other 2 women who had the same complaint about being on hold and being hung up on. The manager isn’t any better. She never apologized and her excuse was«someone didn’t show up so she couldn’t take phone orders and walk in orders at the same time» Fuck this wingstop location. They fry the wings to hard any damn way.

I miss this Wingstop location, for it was my very favorite. I don’t know what some of these peeps are talking about?! I mean ok, maybe I would be kept waiting a little longer at this location, but I was always rewarded with food well worth the wait. There’s plenty of room for dine in, and I loved the employees. They were super chill and funny. My new local Wingstop just doesn’t compare. As a chain, I’m a fan. I like the sauce flavors, Original Hot and Parm being my favorites. When I would order here, I would typically receive a few more than the standard number of wings(8 instead of 6, 10 instead of 8, etc.). You’re paying much less than B Dubs for better sauce, larger portions, more food, better fries(I don’t even want to know what is sprinkled on them, but I think it’s so good it shouldn’t be legal), and less of a wait. You can’t go wrong here. Favorite wing place of all time. I miss you, Wingstop SL. Heart Emoticon since the symbol is apparently not allowed. Be Careful: Though I liked this Wingstop, it is in a dangerous parking lot that’s had its fair share of break ins and violent crime. I really wish they would consider delivery.
