Went in to buy a three piece dinner today. The guy who prepared my order was the guy at the register. I got the tiniest three pieces for $ 8. I saw him literally picking up a huge piece of chicken and then put it down, then reached further to pick up a much smaller piece to put in my box. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted any sauce for my chicken. Not going back again…

Simple order: 16 pc spicy chicken tenders, 3 sides, and 2 drinks
Drive thru order taker: «Let me see if we have enough tenders… oh it will be a 7−10min wait. Is that okay?»
Me: «Sure.»
I get home… 0 chicken tenders. 16 of their regular chicken. Not even spicy. (_​).

I have to this location more than fives times and this time– I’ve called it quits. I’ve had better service at the Dublin location. This location always busy-​not sure why. Oh! Maybe because the employees are giving their «friends» free items. It was a very long day for me and decided to pick up dinner at Popeye’s tonight. I decided to stay in the drive-​thru. Waited almost 25 mins. When it was my turn, the employee was busy chit chatting with other employees. Messed up my order, when I asked for sauce, he gave me a lost look as if he didn’t understand what I was asking for. Honestly, wasn’t sure if he was on something. There were so many employees in there and no one was in the dining area.
If you decided to have chicken, I suggest going somewhere else. I also think that the employees should wear hairnets. I’m not a fan of them, but for obvious reasons-​they should definitely consider it.

3^rd time coming here in less than 2 month and this particular location always messes up my order. The kids working the register doesn’t listen to my order, busy talking to coworkers. I have complained to the same manager twice before here and I guess management doesn’t care. Everyone is busy arguing and not providing customer service. Avoid this location! Poor service!

Drive thru is horrible. Be prepared to wait out front for them to walk your food to you. There was 4 other cars waiting. 15mins for a kids 4pc nugget meal. At least the nuggets were fresh, but the fries were old. Get it together!!!

Stay away from this branch, the f** up my order and had to get to another restaurant to eat instead. Trust me and save your money!

Horrible! It was 647pm, they ran out of chicken! And I’m forced to select a star. Need a minus start for ratings!

Not the first time but just went buy and was told we’re out of chicken…
WTH…how are you a chicken joint and not have chicken? At Dinner time at that!

Came in the drive thru and ordered a ripn chicken for 4.99. Opened my lunch and was disappointed to find NO SAUCE for my chicken. The chicken isn’t the same without the sauce and this is the THIRD time they have MISSED THE RIPN CHICKEN SAUCE. Check your bags before you drive off!

Alright alright… they’ve won me over again!
Maybe it’s just the remodel thats got me in a tizzy but for a while now I’ve definitely been feeling something! Staff seems to have finally gotten their sh*t together and are not only friendly to customers, but to each other as well!
I definitely feel the love when I open my 5 piece tender combo to find some extra pieces thrown in! YOU’VE FOUND THE WAY TO MY HEART! Not to mention the new kick ass soda machine they’ve got!
The whole place has definitely turned a new leaf and I hope it continues to satisfy!

The drive through line took 20 minutes, after going to the line ordering my food asking for a sweet tea chicken nuggets and a kids meal for my grandmother get home chicken nuggets you could tell where old that they re-​dipped back into the oil is that they be hot and the French fries were cold. If I were you I would not go there they have no organization very disappointed and now I remember why I haven’t ate there in over two years I will not be going back to Popeyes…

We ordered at 3 pm today, the 10 pc., 2 sides w/​5 biscuits. The chicken pieces had leather skin coating and tasted very dry. The biscuits had a flour taste like it wasn’t cooked all the way. The mashed potatoes were bland and gravy was very watery. We will stick to the Santa Clara St., Hayward, CA business instead.

I ate here on Friday the 15^th and ordered the $ 6 box from drive through. I ate my food at the parking lot and shortly after I took off I started to feel a hit funky. Since then I’ve had non-​stop diarrhea! 4 days after and it hasn’t stopped. How do I know it’s Popeyes? Bc it was my only meal besides some cereal in the morning.

I came here today through the drive thru and wanted to order their 10pcs for 12.99 deal, but they told me they only had enough chicken for the 8pcs. so I said okay, let me get the 8pcs with the large side and biscuits. I ordered an additional large side and a regular size mashed potatoes and gravy for my baby.
I’m not kidding when I say this but it took 20 minutes in the drive thru from the time I waited, ordered and paid and finally got our good. I had a crying baby in the back so I didn’t have time to check my order as I usually do — wrong move.
I got home and the large sides looked like medium sizes to me and they forgot my baby’s mashed potatoes. They didn’t even bother to put any butter or honey for the biscuits. I called, the phone just kept ringing. I don’t feel like going back and waiting another 20 mins to get my mashed potatoes. I’ll just give my baby something else.

This Popeye’s is fast and good. The staff are friendly and courteous and it’s at an ideal location, on the corner of Hesperian Boulevard.

The food was decent. Over seasoned but good. The chicken pieces were tiny as you can see in the photos attached. Would have liked what the commercial promised which made me run out to get 3, $ 3.99 boxes for myself and 2 other family members!

Man, this place is busy. I came to pick up some dinner on a Tuesday night and had to wait in a long line. On another Tuesday afternoon, I drove in to the parking lot and drove out because the lot was packed with cars and I didn’t want to wait in another long line. Could it be the Tuesday leg and thigh special?
The Popeye’s down the road on Santa Clara off Jackson is not as busy.

2 stars because they told me through the drive through that they were closed before closing time. 2 stars because the 2 chicken tender meals that I bought were mostly batter, limp and not spicy at all. A 2 because the food was not hot at all. A 2 because all of our drinks were warm and they did not have ice at 9:00, the soda was very flat. The biscuits were old. My daughters 3, 5 received spicy chicken when they were the only ones that were suppose to be mild. I also gave them my debit card and cash. I asked the cashier to run the debit card first THEN take the remainder of cash. The level of indifference or lack of care for customer service is so irritating too.
The bottom line is this: If this establishment had people that functioned with integrity, the food would have been right. I paid $ 34 for a dinner that my entire family did not enjoy. I also had to hear my husband complaining about all the food as well… smdh. I’m not sure if I trust going back to this location. I might have to go to Union City Location, they have way better ratings.
I am definitely going to call corporate this time. I let the bad food and customer service slide 1 too many times.

Two Unilocal starts because I have experienced better from this specific location.
Service isn’t up to par from the last couple of visits and it seems like they aren’t a cohesive team. They have managed to have forgotten drinks through a drive through order.
Walking in to collect drinks I’ve paid for, they have also managed to omit straws and even lids.
