Dr. Wu is experienced in his field and looking at his credentials on his wall(doing a residency at Stanford), he is well-trained. I agree with the previous reviews that the office décor is outdated, but his equipment seemed current and he knows his field, so that isn’t a big concern. When I accompanied a friend to an appointment, he was professional and courteous. The appointment did feel a bit rushed, but he was also documenting everything electronically via his assistant and her ipad. He answered most of my questions and explained what was going on clearly and in layman’s terms, which I appreciated since I’m not an expert on ear/nose/throats. There was also a cool machine with a tiny camera towards the back of the office that showed what was going on. My main qualm is about his office staff and how medications problems were resolved. During the appointment, he refilled some medications, but took a while to send them over. The pharmacy and I have tried to get a hold of his office, but I was left on hold twice and the pharmacy has yet to received a fax/any communication back. I understand things do get busy, but I feel like this small issue should have been resolved by 3 days post– appointment. The appointment with him went well and was pleasant, but it’s also pointless if we cannot treat the problem at hand. I hope this is a staffing issue he can resolve soon with how medications are processed, since it’s important antibiotics are continued if a health issue is unresolved and it can interrupt the patient’s plan of care.

I would like to thank Unilocalers for helping me find Dr. Wu and their staff. If you need a great ENT who’s knowledgeable and caring look no further. I had a terrible ear infection and he was able to take care of it same day and prescribed antibiotics for it. I was cleared up within 7 – 10 days. Thanks again Dr. Wu!

I feel so blessed to have found Dr Wu and staff. My ENT retired and when I went to see his replacement he was not for me. As things would have it I had a medical need that was urgent and needed a ENT and didn’t know where to turn. Thank goodness my husbands doctor, Dr Titov referred me to the group and I selected Dr Wu. He is amazing. I felt totally comfortable and know I am at the right place. His entire staff was wonderful too. Very pleased. Linda

Dr. Wu is the«BEST»… 5 «BIG» Stars***** If you don’t think so just ask my 100 year old Grandmother… If I were to describe Dr. Wu in one word I would say«caring»! Listens like he cares and takes the time to describe all options you may have for your symptoms… Avoid his partner Dr. Rubenstein like the plague, he’s a horse’s a$$…

The bad: They are expensive for an out dated facility. I came here just for a hearing check up and I have to come up with $ 70 out of my pocket that my insurance will not cover. I have Blue Cross PPO. The good: I visited Robert Wu yesterday. The staff was friendly enough to squeeze me into their busy shcedule. I came in to check my hearing and my eczema that flares up in my ear. Robert Wu came in, funny man really. Straight forward also which is all good. But overall you get a respectful happy vibe from him. He wasted no time and checked ony eczema and told me a few details that showed to me he knew what he was talking about. Hes prescribed to me a steroid ointment that should help with the on going eczema. He also wasted no time and sent me to have my ear drums and hearing checked. As soon as I was done he assured to me that my hearing was fine and even went as far as wondering why I felt that my hearing was deteriorating. Overall, hes a great guy. The office is out dated but youre here to visit the doctor and thats all thats important.

Dr. Wu was very patient and nice wit my bf mom. He even let me see what’s wrong with her ear drum. When we told him we had another appointment we had to go to he rapidly but efficiently did what needed to be done in the office that day. He is very kind, patient and understanding.

Wish I had gotten past the horrible receptionist… was referred to his office, called, left a voicemail, waited ALL day, and my PCF calls me at home saying Dr. Wu’s office is trying to get in touch with me to schedule an appointment… said they left a vm at my home. Odd, I’ve been home all day waiting for the call, then I call the office the receiptionist is rude, then lies to my face that she called my house AND left a voicemail — really? No missed calls, got all other calls all day, and my voicemail indicator is not flashing… wonder who she«left a message for»…Get a new receptionist Dr. Wu!

Oh Dr. WU, I looove you!!! The best damn ENT on the face of this planet. He didn’t hesitate to get me in for surgery to clear my blocked nasal passages. He didn’t think I was a hypochondriac like that other ENT did. Well, maybe he did for a split second. I went in for surgery last April 1st and I have been sick a total of two times since my surgery. Before I was on constant antibiotics and had a sinus infection every 4 – 6 weeks. Thank you Dr. Wu for making me well!!!
