The workers at this location are Rude and ridiculous! I just left McDonald’s without my meal. The cashier said that there might be something wrong with my card, I pulled out of line in shock and immediately called my bank. They assured me that I was fine and had more than enough money to grab a burger. I had to then get back through the line only to be turned away at the window. They’re machines must’ve been down but kept insisting the problem was with my card. I tried to tell them that that’s was impossible and then just told me there was nothing they could do. Again I called my bank and they said they’ve never heard of anything like this happening. Needless to say I’m better off at In&Out

First off, let me start by saying i’m really bummed to be posting a negative review because I know how it can impact business. I have had two really terrible experiences at this location within the last month and I wont be returning anytime soon. My first experience was on 11/22, I ordered a quarter pounder combo with no onions and informed the cashier I had a coupon for a free sandwich via the mobile app. The girl taking my order was an extremely poor communicator and muttered(I think??) to proceed to the window once I informed her of the digital coupon. She then had me repeat the entire order and had me give her my phone so she could scan my coupon(I have done this successfully before at the drive through). After a minute or two she calls who I assume was her manager to assist her. The manager informed me that she couldn’t get the coupon to work and that I was out of luck despite the fact that they are a participating location! The manager rudely told me that if she gave me the coupon, she would have to do it for everyone even though they are required to honor it. To top it off, I ordered a large combo and they gave me a medium fry and my burger had onions, which I specifically asked for them to hold. Despite this I brushed it off and decided to go back on 11⁄28 because it isn’t far from my work and maybe it was an isolated incident. This time, I arrived at the counter and the girl said I’ll be right back and then doubled back to the counter and said«actually just order». I could tell I was inconveniencing her with my business so I replied with«why don’t you just do whatever you need to do and come back». she then rudely replied with«no just go» and took my order. I wasn’t the only one who felt this way because another patron approached me afterwords and stated that he thought she was incredibly rude as well. My father and many of my friends have also stopped going to this location as of late due to the service and I am inclined to join them! It really is a bummer because the owners of this particular location were former customers of my business and I doubt they would be happy to know their employees are representing their brand in such a poor manner. It took 12 minutes to deliver my breakfast order. The order was nothing exotic — a two sandwich sausage mcmuffin value meal. The restaurant was not crowded — there was one person in the restaurant ahead of me and 3 in the drive through. I can get eggs at my table in less than 12 minutes at a sit down restaurant. This is not fast food. If I had 15 minutes to pick up breakfast, I probably would not have gone to McDonalds. The cause seemed to be disorganization on the part of the manager. At ten minutes I asked to speak with the manager. The request was simply ignored. At 12 minutes she threw down my order on the counter and called my number. When I complained about the time, she snapped at me that she was going as fast as she could. She asked if I wanted my money back. Given her poor attitude, I said yes. She then handed my $ 5 which was less than the cost of the order($ 7.75).

Its a BRAND new McDonalds, the owner is very nice and cares about his customers, I know cause he rented from me at my storage when it was being built. I only have nice things to say about this guy! I don’t go very often but today they were having $ 1 Big Macs and i couldn’t help myself xD The drive in has 2 places to order and also has 3 windows! The service was very fast and the workers are friendly. I would recommend this location before ANYOTHERS in San Juan or Dana Point!!!

The store is brand new. Modern décor with brand new indoor play place. It is clean and the crew is fantastic. What a great atmosphere. Best McDonald’s in all of Orange County.

Not a good place to go. Ordering inside is not so bad though actually. The drive-thru is usually busy bcz it is right close to the Ortega Highway so a lot of people stop there. BUT I highly recommend that you DONOT go through the drive-thru. I live pretty close to it and go there to get food for my daughter. I have used the drive-thru 4 times and every time there was some huge problem. Most of the time it is the fact that you order your food at drive-thru and then they have you pull over to the side and wait for your food. Most of the time you wait 10 – 15 minutes after you have pulled over and then someone runs from the inside to give you your food once ready. I know you can get a lil backed up but this wait is ridiculous. I could have ordered from insde and gotten my food way faster. Last(and I mean last) time we went was a couple of days ago. All we ordered was an egg mcmuffin and an egg mcmuffin combo. A girl was out in the line of cars taking our orders on her mobile computer but then when we got to the pay window, the guy couldn’t find our order. He then realized he charged the car before us with our order. He then proceeded to blame the girl that was taking our order(which she honestly had nothing to do with it). The manager came and spent about 10 minutes doing something on his register and then chewed him out in front of us. They never apologized for the inconvenience, never offered any coupons, nothing. We also felt bad for the poor cars in back of our car bcz they had to wait 10 minutes with us for them to fix & get our order right. And for sure take heed to the above guy’s review about checking your food before you leave. 2 out of the 4 times we have gone through the drive-thru, they have gotten our food wrong. Like I said, not as bad going inside but the service all around is not at all professional and there are some really SLOOOOWW workers there.

This location is busy, busy busy, so you have to give some of the wear and tear here it’s due. They have a play land, plenty of parking, and a fair amount of inside table space. Service seems very slow here. If you’re in the drive through, make sure to check your order. Although it doesn’t happen all the time, they have been known to get orders wrong.

Soda machine has no water dispenser not cool when there was 10 people in line and if you want water you have to stand with the rest. Also restaurant is kinda out dated inside. Wouldn’t be my first choice and kinda strange for the upscale neighborhood it’s located in you would think it would have been remodeled by now.

I wanted a quick bite for my late night(8:45) drive home. I stood at the counter for 3 minutes and 3 – 4 people knew I was standing there. They looked at me, talked to each other about getting things done but no one asked me if I had been helped, if I was waiting for something or if I wanted to order. I felt invisible. So left.
