Super Taqueria

Always came here for the Super Giant Burritos. Back then, they put a really good amount of carne asada on my burrito but recently I’ve noticed the Super Giant Burritos aren’t as giant anymore. Every now and then I come back hoping my burrito will find me like they used to.

These guys don’t know this but they actually supply me with most of my meals for the week. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and I never get tired of their food… in fact I think I will go there now.

Love this spot ! Used to go here with my best friend all of the time growing up. Can’t wait till I head back to Nor Cal, this is going to be my first stop! Seriously I’ve been in L.A. for three years and have not found a place that even comes close to how BOMB this place is !!!
We would always order the chili Verde burrito, I always added avocado some lemon and green salsa with every bite, best burrito ever!

Definitely a small place, however they get your order taken quick and efficiently. customer service was alright not too bad they were busy so i get it! despite being busy our order was served with in 5 minutes. they have A LOT of salsas to choose from which is always a super highlight to me but even better they all had a great flavor. I had a carne asada super burrito which satisfied my needs to the fullest! they do put a good amount of cheese in them so next time i will ask for light cheese but still didn’t hurt too bad. the horchata, BOMB! i had a great flavor not too sweet not too much cinnamon but just right. i also wasn’t all watered down it was seriously just right. so far the best mexican food we have had since moving here in august.

Let me just start off by saying, so worth the drive from redwood city! Believe the hype, this place is delicious in every way. Tasty food and excellent service! Just go and taste for yourself!

I love this place, I am Mexican so I know true Mexican fast food. This place is a fantastic place to find cheap traditional Mexican food. There is usually a line, but
It moves fast. This place is cash only, but there is an atm. This place has the best salsas (which are also for sale). The employees are friendly, and the food tastes fantastic. This is my go to place.

The only thing that sucks, it’s so busy for lunch hours, I waited 10 minutes for my carne asada burrito.

This place is o.k. not the best. My BF seems to think they have the best tasting burritos. (Maybe in SAN JOSE) I’m not to impressed with this place, I ordered the Carne adana nachos. They were not that good. Kinda bland. Won’t be coming here by choice.

This place is awesome with the best tacos in my opinion. The burritos are pretty darn good as well. The only bad thing would be that it closes early & they only take cash, so that’s a bit of a bummer. But overall this place is a great place to eat at.

In and out in 7ish minutes. Serving size was GREAT for the price. Not too greasy or oily for the super nachos. Didn’t get gassy. Awesome.

Pendejo, pide la torta de lomo con un súper taco de asada y una agua de tamarindo. Best taqueria, I’m willing to drive all the way from Livermore.

I’ve been coming to Super T’s for 20 years. It’s one of my favs. I think nostalgia plays a part because I typically go for burritos with rice and sour cream. The burritos here are made by first throwing on a slap of cheese whole beans meat and salsa. The tortillas are sooooo good. I LOVE getting a cheese quesadilla with salsa inside the quesadilla. Their salsa is super fresh. Very authentic taqueria and a landmark of ESSJ.

Love the big tacos here. $ 2.19 for regular tacos and it is huge. Can’t eat more than 3 tacos. CASH Only.

3 stars. I got the Carne Asada & BBQ Super Tacos and a Hibiscus Tea to drink. The best thing I had was hands down was the Hibiscus tea. The meat in the both tacos were great. The tortillas weren’t very soft and that’s not good in my book. Didn’t care much for the salsa verde. Service was great! Cashier was patient was willing to explain to me the differences between a regular taco and a super taco. I would come back to see if their burritos are good! Small parking lot though.

Love me some Tacos, get super Tacos with everything with crunchy tortilla Dorada mmmm The bomb ! walking distance to this place, so when we don’t know what to eat, we go to Super, Only down side it’s Cash Only and one cashier for one long line, cooks are fast and salsas are available on side so help yo selfs: D Good Taco

Great place to eat i always get the super burrito. Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is because sometimes there are hard pieces of meat in my food that sometimes hurt my teeth. Green salsa is great but for some reason it taste better here than their other locations.

Really? I don’t understand why so many Mexicans eat here. The burritos suck! I had the Super burrito with re-​fried beans and chicken. Very underwhelming! The Burrito at El Pollo Loco are 10X better than here.
The Horchata tasted the way a port-​a-​potty smells. I took a sip and left it.
Final Thought: Disgusting!

I’ve been coming to Super Taq since I was a young child. It’s been a staple of San Jose culture and has always been a good source of satisfying my Mexican food cravings.
Over the years, I’ve found their food to be incredibly consistent, incredibly filling, and the ingredients always fresh, tasty, and prepared well.
The steak is always cooked well and the meat is always tender and juicy, same goes for the chicken and pork. The sauces are good and they are pretty mild, a little disappointing they don’t have spicier sauces though you can just ask for the Tabasco and they’ll give it to you.
Now the bad: 1.) Cash only, though an ATM is available, but you must pay a hefty price to withdraw money. 2.) The burritos are more «SoCal» style and the tortillas are generally softer and the insides tend to be soft and juicy, as opposed to other places in San Jose where it’d be crisper tortillas, rice, grilled vegetables, etc. (Iguanas, La Vic’s) along with their unique sauces.
It’s a great cornerstone of Mexican food in East San Jose and the South Bay in general and always does well to satisfy my cravings, I’ll keep coming and they can count on my business. 4 stars.

According to Unilocal suggestions and reviews, I found out that they have the SoCal style of «California burrito.» They’re fairly close to my residence, so I had to give them a try.
They are located next to a grocery store where you have fight for parking. The parking structure itself were not thought of very well either. You can sort of find yourself circling around to find a spot or even take a few minutes trying to get out of it.
The food was okay hence the 2 stars. The sauces were mild to spicy or too hot. There wasn’t a medium for balance.
It’s at a fairly busy street, so getting here was a inconvenience even though I live few miles away.

Been going here since high school and everything is still consistent. This is the place to go to if you just want a good 5 dollar, no frills burrito. Fast service, fast orders, and pretty great burritos. The deal alone is worth it. It’s a bit of a chain, but nothing beats the convenience of getting authentic mex.
