I’m in love with this little sushi place! The owners are so nice, and dress up in Japanese kimonos and headbands. The portions are the most generous I’ve seen at a Japanese food place. Everytime I place an order I can see the family in the back feverishly cooking and getting my meal ready. I really hope this place stays in business. The sushi is very reasonably priced! A good deal in my neighborhood.

They’re going out of business! Apparently, their rent was hiked up and they cannot afford to stay in business… and are cutting their losses. Their last day will be September 30th. Bye-bye, cheap sushi fix. =/

Good sushi + amazing prices = a great local sushi joint! I can remember making fun of this place since they have a sign that says 2.50 $ sushi but, when my boyfriend brought some nigiri(hamachi & sake) and misc rolls home for dinner one night, I was surprised because it was so good! It’s the same quality as most mid-level sushi restaurants and half the price! I don’t know how they stay in business being so cheap but I hope they stick around. We always do take-out from Koji Sushi so maybe that explains the lack of business that others have mentioned. It’s a take-out kinda place. Great for picking up sushi on the way home from work or errands. I have their number programmed in my phone and their take-out menu here in front of me. Hamachi nigiri — 2.75. Sake nigiri 2.50. Dragon roll — 5.85. Beef teriyaki — 5.95… and 12 vegetarian options for those who don’t appreciate a good slab of raw fish. LoL Note: They’re not open on Sunday! And they’re kinda hidden, located behind L&L BBQ and Starbucks on the corner of Berryessa and Lundy/King. See ya there!

I live right across this place. So I read other reviews and I wanted something light to eat. Got the rainbow + dragon combo with 2 pieces of Yellowtail and Albacore which are MYFAVORITE! I’d have to say its an okay place, its not terrible. I think I’m pretty good with knowing what good sushi is, and the quality isn’t great you can tell they pre-make the California rolls cause the rice tastes a little stale, and they add too much vinegar in the rice, which makes it a little sour or the rice is BAD! the prices are cheap but you pretty much pay for the quality of the sushi. I would say stay away from the fresh cut fish, its a tad fishy. But if you need a cheap sushi fix, check this place out.
