Custom Cleaners

I had used this cleaner probably 5 or 6 times and was always pleased with the service I received. They are always friendly, and I have always been happy with my items I have had cleaned there, until today that is.
I took a solid color purple shirt in last week and picked it up this week. It sat in my closet in the plastic until today when I decided to wear it. I put it on and the coffee spill I had taken it in for was gone, but there were now two pink spots on the shoulder. Both spots looked like bleach marks or something. I took the shirt back, fully prepared for them to point our their policy how they are not responsible for anything, so check your garments before leaving. This is not how they handled the situation. I was told «I think you do this». Completely unacceptable. Its one thing to not have to take responsibility for something because of your store policy, but to blame me does not set well. I will NEVER use this cleaner again.
UPDATE: While I am unsure I will return, the owner did pay me for the shirt. He offered me store credit, which I turned down, and eventually agreed to pay for the shirt. Too bad the situation wasn’t handled well initially.

Their service quality is pretty good. They were able to remove the stain off my suit jacket. The owner is nice, and the best part is we have no problem communicating :) It seems like they do some cleaning in house. More specialized work (e.g., leather, fur) are outsourced. I think their price is a little high (hence the 4 stars). Jackets are $ 7.95 and dress pants are $ 5.95. Their laundry shirt price is pretty reasonable ($ 1.95). Finally this place is very easy to get to and it has a private parking lot. Since they open early, the hour is perfect for me.

They do a great job and are consistently professional and clean.

I look for three things in dry cleaners: 1) do they get the job done, 2) can they do it quickly, and 3) is the service friendly. #1 & 2 are spot on at Custom Cleaners, and #3 is exceptional. Mr. Owner is super friendly and always remembers me and is friendly to the kids.
Great service and quality, no reason to go anywhere else.

If you are looking for a great cleaner in the Willow Glen/​Cambrian area, then look no further. I migrated from Moon’s (see last review) to here based on the recommendation of some neighbors. The service is professional and prompt. The gentleman who owns it has even seen me drive up and started pulling my clothes out before I walked in. Price is about the same as anywhere else and although their hours aren’t as good as Moon’s, at least they are open when they say they are going to be open!
