Husband works close by so we came here for lunch. Food is good, service sucks especially the waitress(don’t want to go into details but she ruined our mood), therefore 2 star is what I think fits. Will come back to eat here for convenience, but most likely not if we have time to drive farther due to short lunch hr.

The food is good but the barbecue pork rolls sometimes have bad vegetables. Their bathrooms are very dirty and smell. Their service is terrible too.

Came here for lunch with family. Good was mediocre, rice was soggy. My mom found a hair in her plate, and the employee doesn’t even apologize, she just look and left…

I usually get the #73, it’s the Korean bbq short ribs with everything on it, the most food. Fills me right up. Good protein for bulking up or maintaining muscle mass so that you don’t shrink too much after workouts

This place was a-ight. I mean, for a Saturday brunch, it was soooo busy. I had to wait in line just to order to-go while everyone else was trying to pay for their table. This is what I hate about Vietnamese places; they don’t ever bring the check to your table. You have to go up to the register to pay and if they don’t have a reliable system going on, you’ll have to repeat what your whole entire table ordered instead of just giving them your table number. The line was 6 people deep before I could even get a chance to order. Moving on. So I’m Vietnamese and although I don’t look like it, I know how to speak it. I went up to the register and clearly spoke in Vietnamese and the girl working there clearly understood me and yet decided to reply back in her broken English. Humor me, but if I speak to you in fluent Viet, shouldn’t you know that I actually understand it??? Probably sounds like I’m being nit picky but it irked me when she tried to talk back to me in English and I could barely understand her. Took my cash, threw the change back at me and didn’t give me a receipt or anything to let me know she was finished. Already moved on to the next customer before she could give me a chance to gather myself or make sure I was done. Ok… The wait for the food was about 15 minutes. During the 15 minutes some guy walked out with his son mumbling«shitty service» under his breath. I feel ya bro. I also was never a big fan of those guys pushing the car full of dirty dishes around when they go and clear the tables. How unsanitary. Food isn’t even all that great.

First and foremost, I have been to many different Com Tam restaurants and I typically love them all. I’m not typically picky when it comes to Vietnamese food because I enjoy the cuisine. This is the one place I will not be coming back to and I’ll go through the pros and the cons and have faith that you will not support this particular location. Ambience: 4⁄5 stars When you walk in, it’s very«hip» looking with the crystal-like decorations and blue lighting. It’s very nice for a Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely not a hole in the wall. Prices: Overpriced for what you actually get. They need to drop their prices for what they give you or increase their food quality and portions to justify their prices. Food quality: 1⁄5 stars Nem nuong goi cuon — 1⁄5 stars The nem nuong was SODRYANDHARD, I could not finish ¼ of one roll. By far the worst I’ve had to date. Not sure if it’s not fresh and they left it sitting, but I don’t recommend it. Bbq pork, egg cake, shredded pork, sugarcane shrimp, fried tofu skin shrimp and rice.(#70) — 2⁄5 stars The portion size of the bbq pork was pathetic compared to other places. 4 rolls of pork(approx. 2 inches in length ½ inch in width) AND it was DRY. Shredded pork was OK. Sugarcane shrimp was OVERCOOKED and DRY, it had the texture of rubber. The fried tofu skin shrimp was actually good. I give that a 4⁄5 stars. Rice was good as well, which should be otherwise that’s pathetic for a Com Tam restaurant. Bbq pork chop with shredded pork and rice. — 1.5÷5 stars The portion of the pork chop was ½ the size of other locations. It was extremely THIN, therefore, it was extremely DRY and overcooked. They OVERseason the meat so it lasts longer and makes it not as fresh, which is obvious if you know how to cook. Shredded pork and rice is the same as the above. Service: 0⁄5 stars Typical Vietnamese restaurant. No smiles, no refills. But this location topped it off by charging $.50 for a togo container, stating that every restaurant charges. This is the biggest load of BS I’ve ever heard. I have never been charged for a container, EVER. Also, the servers don’t receive the tip money so don’t bother tipping either. It simply goes to the owners and I think that’s pathetic too. I always tip everywhere I go, but with how they run the place, I’ll forgive myself for not tipping this one time. Would I recommend? No, I wouldn’t. But I am a firm believer that everyone should try things for themselves. My experience wasn’t great food and service-wise, but maybe your experiences will be much different. Good luck to this restaurant, I hope you make changes and be more accommodating towards your customers(the people giving you money to keep your business going; don’t forget that!)

This is my second time coming to this location, but I’ve been to various ones around the area. We were seated right away and given menus, we we’re kind of rushed because after given the menu about 1 minute later the waiter came expecting us to know what to order. I understand that most people come here knowing already, but that just wasn’t the case for us this time. They have a wide selection of rice plates and soup to choose from. Their rice plates are tasty and are portioned well, a little heavier on the rice side, but more than enough for one person in my opinion. I enjoy their Nem Nuong here! Super delicious! Nothing overpowers the different tastes in the roll. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you haven’t had Vietnamese food in general.

Average pork spring rolls. Average com tam dishes. Everything eh. So coming here again is an «eh» too.

4 stars for food: I think the rice dishes are great, but the meat marinade is a tad bit on the sweet side. If they can lower their sweetness level, I would give 5 stars. 3.5 stars for service: we had two toddlers with us and they didn’t seem to know that tall glasses filled with lots of ice and water to the top are not good. Also I didn’t know you had to pay at the register after you are done eating. Kind of odd since you are seated by the host and your orders taken by servers. Make sure to try the shrimp on cane sugar sticks. Yummy!

Com tam also known as «broken rice» was my ultimate favorite thing in the world when I was growing up. Imagine a plate of super short grain white rice, savory shredded pork, grilled pork, pickled vegetables, steamed egg quiche, scallion infused oil(hella bad for you but hella good) and topping it off w/a cup of soup and nuoc mam(fish sauce mixed w/sugar and limes). Compared to a few other restaurants, this place is on the pricey side but the taste, the portion size, and service and speed justified its prices. We came in on a Sunday during lunch, the place was packed but we got seated right away. Everyone was very vague and brief but I can understand why — people were lining up outside the restaurant. Com Tam Bi Suong Cha. I want you so…

Came here cause my boyfriend was craving vietnamese food. We walked in and got seated right away. The restaurant was super modern and classy! We got our menus and literally one second after our waitress came back and asked if we were ready yet. LOL of course not, but anyways. We got #52 and added a fried egg and lap xuong. BOMMMB! The portions are huge. I ate everything except for some rice. All rice dishes comes with a side of soup. Super good! I’m surprised it’s the same owners as the one on Story! Glad its actually up to par!

Ahhhh. I feel terrible giving this place a star but I was beyond disappointed. My mom was raving about this place so we went to dinner here last night. We arrived at the place at 8:40PM and they were closing at 8:45PM. But when we went in, the girl said she was able to still seat and serve us. We had sat down and the girl came and took our order. She was really nice and had gave us some good recommendations. My mom ordered the phở special and I had broken rice with bbq short ribs and grilled shrimp. Food was good and portion was good as well. The restaurant is a little TOO bright. Nearly un comfortable sitting in there eating. But any who, as we were eating… it was 9:00PM and the girl had brought the check to our table and had asked us to pay the bill because she was closing the registered. And then at 9:05PM, the girl comes back and takes the check and our CC. As we were still finishing our dinner, another girl comes 5 minutes later and asked for us to sign the cc slip and literally stood there watching us. Soooooo awkward and uncomfortable and unprofessional. We then gave her the slip and just left as we no longer wanted to be there. Who drops off the bill, ask you to pay, and then stands there waiting for you to sign it? All in like 7mins? Maybe you would want to come not so close to closing time or just order take-out.

Unfortunately, I have to give them a low rating. I really like how close they are to my house, but I am 0 – 3 here. 1st time, they forgot one of our orders(we did order in Vietnamese). They had just opened, so it was ok. 2nd time, a gentleman sat me down. I was ready to order, but he took everyone else’s order around me who sat down after me. I waved him down and he told me that he would be right back. He didn’t come back so I had to wave someone else down to take my order. 3rd time(last night 2⁄27) — They lost my order again. Also, the register girl is not friendly at all. She was also the one who took my order. I love food and I never write reviews. Even if I had a bad time. I want everyone to succeed. Everyone has their off day, but I struck out completely here. I would say the food is a 3 Star at best. Nothing great, but it is convenient. I write this because I hope things change, so others do not have the same experience as me.

Pork roll was really interesting liked the warm dipping sauce. The décor is really fun not at all what I expected at a restaurant. I had the #70 in a food coma now but worth it :-)

I am one of the big Com Tam fan and I have been to this place twice already. It is a wait sometime with getting a table but it is around 5 to 15 minute wait. The décor isnt too bad and it is a new location so it is clean. The food that I am grading on is portion. For the special that I order isnt as big as other location. I wish that the give a little more for the price that we paid. Other than that, I would give them five stars if I see that they give bigger portion like other places. This would be a constructive feedback to the owner if they are reading this. Other than that, keep up the good work.

Flying in from 27 degree weather I was homesick and needed hot soup desperately. Luckily this place was close to the airport and was not very crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Couldn’t tell if I was walking into a disco bar or lounge. The setting was modern with electric blue lights. Far away from your average phở restaurants. We got seated at a booth and the service was immediate. Very attentive and friendly. For appetizers we ordered the spring rolls. They tasted fresh and their peanut sauce was good. For the main dish I ordered the ox tail phở because come on… it’s ox tail! This is the best ox tail phở I’ve had in a looooong time. They don’t skimp on the meat. The flavor of the broth is very good. It was something i desperately needed after a week in freezing weather. I’m definitely making a trip back.

The inside of this place could pass as a lounge because of the dark colored furniture, chandeliers and dim lighting. Glad they opened this place so I don’t have to go to ESSJ location and deal with parking, haha. The food is pretty good, my friends got the chicken rice plate which they really liked and find that the rice plates are big? I think it was just a decent size portion. I got their phở which was decent. I didn’t find any Phở Ga on their menu so I was a bit sad =/Meat portions were generous on my first visit then my second one felt like there was more noodles than the meat so I was a disappointed cat. I guess I’ll go get rice plates from now on and get my Phở fix somewhere else: D Oh, I was looking for their sugar cane drink thing and they didn’t have it :(ESSJ location has it though haha: D

My dad prefers this over Dat Thanh, the only reason I go here. The décor is nice, 1 star. Food is not up to my standard. Com tam is my all time favorite food, so I have a very high standard for it. The com tam here fail my test. I have come several times, and every single time, the rice they serve is NOT broken rice, it’s just white rice! You cannot call it com tam if the rice is not broken! It tastes very different! The meat, although is marinated well, is very thin and not juicy enough. Moreover, we figure that if a table order the same plate with the meat, instead of giving you 2 pieces of meat, they give you 1.5, the cut 1 piece in half and split between the 2 plates on your table. It does not happen just once! Every single time I come, and I come here a lot, again because of my Dad :( They also tend to forget the soup and/or the sauce. One time, they brought out everything except for my mom’s dish, which is the same as mine. We thought it’s going to come soon but 10′ and nothing came. We waved them down and 10′ later they brought it out, apparently they forgot an order. How professional. Price is slightly higher than other com tam places too. I wouldn’t mind if it’s worth it but it’s totally not. I feel scammed. Trust me. Go to Dat Thanh, it’s ghetto, you don’t get that fancy Instagram-worthy picture that Thien Huong offers, but it’s worth it for the price and the quality of the food you deserve to eat :)

This place is close to my house. I pass by this place when is was still remodeling, when this place open I just has to try it. The décor is so pretty with chandelier. The foods was so good I order the porkchop combo, come with shredded pork, eggs with dice pork, add sunny egg, and Chinese sausage, and their appetizer nem Cuon. The sauce is so amazing I have to order extra sauce. Service is ok. Better then a lot of Asian restaurant

I ordered take put and service was friendly and fast. I like their other locations so the food is consistant. I’ve never had their Phở before so this is only for the broken rice. Order: steam egg and shredded pork with bbq pork. Great favors. Good portion. Though I think this place is a little more pricier then their counter parts.
