I am sad to hear that this place closed. The last few months there were some personnel changes and the coffee was not as consistent as before… but it was still better than Starbucks.

Been CLOSED for the last week or so that I’ve noticed. Tables are gone, moving boxes inside, paper taped to doors that has«closed today» written in pen. Looks like another local coffee place has bit the dust.

Good neighborhood spot. The service is always friendly and they know their regulars. The drinks are very tasty and strong. They don’t have much in the way of food though, just some very limited pastries and bagels, nothing special. Also, they only have small tables and chairs. There aren’t any sofas or comfy chairs for lounging.

Visits: 3 Service: excellent Rating: 4* So far out of the four different drinks I’ve had here none kicked me in the rear nor got me wired. Which, belIeve it or not, is ok sometimes. Sometimes you just want a well made coffee drink that hits the spot without the jittery side effects. Coffee Net will do that & at a cheaper cost than Starbucks. In fact, I consider the coffee strength here to be on par with Starbucks. Glad it’s a block from the house. So it’s a great alternative considering the chains keep raising their price every year. The coffee habit will soon cost as much as a smoking habit. Glad I’m only hooked on the former. No parking issues in this lot. Not crowded, so plenty of places to sit. Haven’t tried any pastries yet so can’t comment on those… yet. Coffee drinks are good but a little weak on the coffee side. Too weak for the wife because she drinks strong coffee. I drink strong coffee too but I don’t need it that strong every day. So for those days when I just need a good mild coffee, I will be stopping here(it’s convenient & cheap). Or just have them make it stronger. The 12oz comes with a single shot while 16oz gets a double.

I used to come here as a kid when it was the espresso garden. I am pleased to see it is so much better than I remember. The café is beautiful. I was greeted by a friendly barista who made the best Carmel Machiado I have ever had. The croissant was very good I just wish they had more comfortable seating like a couch, but maybe I’m just picky.

Coffee Net is my go-to coffee spot when visiting my family in San Jose. In a city that is overrun by chain restaurants and Starbucks, it’s great to have this local gem so close to our house. Not to mention, the gigantic parking lot makes parking a breeze. I usually get one of the first spots right by the entrance! Easy parking: Huge private parking lot. Large drink under $ 5: Yes Friendly staff: Yes Indoor seating: Tiny wooden tables lining the wall and several more in the middle. Outdoor seating: A couple metal tables. Décor: Minimal with some framed paintings and little accents hanging above the tables. People with laptops: Yes Hipsters: No Famous Faces: No Foam Art: No People watching: Decent In & out quick: Yes The challenge continues!

I am absolutely in love with this coffee house… a co worker turned me on to this place and Im so glad he did… Im hooked… they are the only ones in this general area that have my drink a monkey white mocha which is delish everytime… the girls that work there– especially letty and kaylee– are amazing and always super friendly… the owners son is also fantastic… I am a faithful customer and will continue to be… ps all cold drinks and pastries are 30% off from 2 – 4 I believe… which makes coffee net even more awesome… KEEPUPTHEGOODWORK

Baristas are super friendly! Always have wonderful service! The owner’s son works here and he is amazingly nice, he is willing to help out the baristas if it gets too crowded, not stuck up at all. I do not drink coffee but I am addicted to their strong iced tea! Starbucks waters down their iced tea and over charges for it, this place does not! Best part is from 2−3pm everyday it’s happy hour on all cold drinks! Gets a little bit crowded during those hours, but there is hardly any line and plenty of seats. A lot of locals and old timers come here to just relax, kick back, people watch, hang out, or use the free wifi! I am totally a customer for life.

I don’t usually take a chance and try a new coffee spot but am so glad I stopped here last week. I am in love with the staff they are super sweet and consistent with their coffee making. I am gluten-free and am unable to eat their pastries but have bought a couple this week for my sister to try out and she says they are fantastic! My favorite drink is the Mayan Mocha and my daughters is the Caramel Macchiato. I would highly recommend them and their parking lot is easy to get in and out of.

I have generally had a good experience at Coffee Net(because I love the small community atmosphere); however, my last couple of visits were lackluster. Although I enjoyed my mocha and crescent, the staff put me off. When I approached the counter the cashier continued texting and didn’t seem to care I was there. I then had to initiate the exchange after she looked up from her completed text. It may have just been a slow day. Despite a couple of off experiences I would still recommend going as their coffee and treats are good.

The ginger cookie stale and had be in the jar for a while. The vanilla latte was delicious. However, I was in and out of here in less than 5 minutes. It’s a more cozy alternative to Starbucks.

The muffins they offer are delicious & reasonably priced. Sometimes I go just to get one. Coffee is good too!

I had a disappointing experiance here. The coffee and baked goods were good but the workers need to learn customer service skills. Not only were they young and inexperianced, they had the nerve to talk about customers, thinking they were not in earshot. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to deal with immature young ladies who are more focused with gossip than their actual job: MAKINGCOFFEE.

Coffee Net is a fine coffee shop if you’re looking to get coffee, a snack, and work on your computer. Their food selection is very small, and mostly consists of pastries, muffins, and donuts. It’s not the best place to get lunch because they don’t offer sandwiches or salads. They have a good environment to sit down and surf the web or do work online, and their staff is very friendly and helpful.

The coffee is good. I just haven’t decided if it is expensive or they don’t like filling the cups with coffee vs foam. The girls working behind the counter usually have attitude as if their farts smell like roses.

I picked up a quick Café Mocha for the ride home on a busy 680 Rush Hour commute. I liked the small, quaint feel of this Coffee House. Lots of tables and places to catch up on your favorite book, or study. A couple of Pastries in the display case and Smoothies looked enticing. My Wifey had a Café Au Lait, and she said it was a little watered down. However, the Iced Mocha I had hit the spot and it was very good. I will be by if I am the neighborhood, again. Friendly Service and Cleanliness earns 4 Stars.

Read the great reviews on Unilocal and thought that we would give it a try. What a disappointment. The two girls working at the counter were not that friendly as others have remarked. Coffee was just so so but I have had better elsewhere. Internet did not work at all. They had absolutely no idea how to fix it. If you’re going to offer free wi-fi you either need to know 1, how to fix it yourself or 2, pick up the phone to atleast call for assistance. Would not go back.

Great Drink Deal, Buy Six Get One Free The new owners have turned this in to an adorable coffee shop! Soothing clean décor, plenty of small tables, free wi-fi(ask for the code), basket of vegan cookies on the counter. Had a tasty raspberry peach scone which was flaky and fresh. My Soy Latte was quite good, soy milk was not too sweet just the way i like it and the espresso was smooth and flavorful. Friendly owners took over what used to be a terrible coffee shop and made it super charming. Get a coffee card and buy six coffee, smoothies or espresso drinks and the seventh is on the house! Dog Friendly — Three paws for several outdoor tables, and it’s next door to Petco.
