I have been getting cheap haircuts in San Francisco for 20 years, and Jimmy is one of the best! For just $ 12, he cuts my hair exactly how I like it. Really takes his time, and it shows. Very precise. My «go to» guy for a terrific haircut, and super nice. Thank you Jimmy for your great work!

Perfect haircut — quick, skilled, cheap, and cheerful. Honestly, this is one of the best haircuts I have ever had and I have longer curly hair. Very happy!

Great hair cuts for kids, super sweet. Not scary at all for the children! I’ve been many super cute places and have had a horrible experience. By chance I tried this following review. I am not disappointed

For a salon with an owner like Eddy, I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular with people out of the neighborhood. This place is a local favorite the first time I stepped in and for good reason, Eddy is the man! Of all the salons I’ve been to, I’ve never meet someone as caring and honestly passionate in what the customers want at a salon. He’s patient, nice and always double checked with you to see if everything is on par with your request. There’s a hair washing station in the back room, but seeing as I live nearby, I opted out of the wash and cut. Prices are decent for a neighborhood salon and there’s always a wait for Eddy.

Great waxing service. The ladies are super friendly. I’ve been here twice and my waxing lasts up to 3 weeks. The prices are super low. I get eyebrow, upper lip and chin wax and only paid $ 13. I’ve paid up to $ 30 to get these same services somewhere else. The place is also a hair salon and a little whole in the wall and hard to see when you’re just driving by. It’s right next to Walgreens. Parking is hard to find but not impossible.

I had left for college for about 6 months, and in that time, I had bleached my hair blonde and cut it to a short bob. I walked in and the woman(shame on me for not getting her name) immediately recognized me! I was so surprised! I ended up getting a haircut, just ~2inches or so cut off so that my hair was all one length instead of asymmetrical, and just grazing my shoulder. I was so picky about it being the right length, and she totally accommodated me. After that, I got my eyebrows waxed, the one service that I had come into this salon for for 3+years, the same service that makes them deserving of 5 stars. My god, I am just so touched that she remembered me after all those months. She commented on how she noticed that I had disappeared and we had the best conversation that I have ever had with anyone who waxes my eyebrows. Truly won me over.

Ask for eddie, he cuts great haircut for all. $ 12 is not bad for a standard haircut as well.

Definite hole in the wall Mission neighborhood barber/haircut but wait. these guys are great! If you can handle hole in the wall joints for a trim I’d suggest this place. My bf’s family has been going here for years. And you can tell the regulars pop in and have been repeat customers so there’s really something special about this place. I left with a great trim happy and healthy hair! Yay Eddy thank you!

I’m very surprised this place only has a few Unilocal reviews, yet it looks busy most of the time when I pass by waiting for the bus. Anyways, this is definitely the place to go when your in need for a haircut. Ask for Eddy, he always cuts flawlessly(for me at least). I’ve been going to this place for over 2 years now and they literally fail to disappoint. The other two ladies though, their haircut style is decent, but my fav barber is Eddy thats for sure. It also explains the wait line for Eddy.

I got a HAIRTRIM. Fong cut my hair exactly as I requested. Which is contrary to what I generally experience. Most pretend to listen then cut my hair as they wish. The price is also reasonable.

Ok Malinda, since it’s just you and me reviewin’ this place and you mentioned a haircut, here’s an update for you. I went in for one a couple of months ago and I have to say I was impressed. And that’s coming from someone who’s hair was cut by her mother for twenty years. I indicated I did not want it too short, and they actually did so! They really were meticulous about getting every section even and straight. The price was great too, so you can’t really beat it. Hope that helped!

Since reading the one review here, I have traversed across the street to Yan Yan’s to get my eyebrows waxed. This salon is truly hidden, and I used the local GameStop as my landmark to find this place. Walking in, the atmosphere was quiet, a little lonely. Nonetheless, this meant that there would be absolutely no waiting time. The lady there immediately invited me to the back, to lay down on the seat where they usually wash your hair. Perhaps they did not have enough room to set up a separate room for waxing. Always weary about waxing, I indicated that I wanted my brows not too thin, and to take care of my upper lip as well. She lotioned up both areas, and started zipping away. I must say I was quite comfortable with the whole process. The woman was friendly and we chatted a little about where we’re from and the neighborhood. Looking in the mirror, I felt very confident and grateful for her skills, because I am too chicken myself to pluck my «mustache.» Everything looks great, my eyebrows are even and have been meticulously trimmed, the redness is gone, and I feel fabulous. Thank you for the excellent service. One more star if I come back for a hair cut and love it, and for enhancing the appearance of the place.
