Extreamly good milk tea. The tea is made fresh daily. Also recommend the mango sago which uses fresh mangos. Very good customer service and will definitely be back.

The strawberry milk tea isn’t the best unlike some other places. I wouldn’t come here again but it looks nice in here

Time: 1:12pm/63°F partly sunny Purpose: Saw sign with Zodiac gifts. First thing got me thinking was the Zodiac killer of the 60s-70s in SF. Turns out false alarm nothing close to it or related. Set-up: Previous place was the same as before just change owner. A little touch up just slightly. Inside a twelve seater with six of that being wooden stool facing window counter. One flatscreen(turn off) and two tables with 3 seats each. Counter area wedge in freezer with eight flavors of ice cream display, cup sealing machine, ipad, tip jar, pastry box, business cards, utensil station, menu board. Walls painted purple to match sign and cup sticker. Inner back is a separate venue of share space with small jewelry pieces for sale. Place is too quiet only the people who runs the place talks. Staff: Seems like a family run place. The usual father, mother, daughter and son helping out. The mother was very pushy for a sale. I walk in and she jump out of her seat. Walks over pointing out items of pastries, telling me to buy this and that. I said let me look things over. She stands next to me looking at menu along side with me. I’m thinking she has issues and I don’t want any of it. All those times she won’t lay eyes on menu until I came in. Not sure what’s that about. After I made a purchase she sits back down continue on phone convo. Get over it, I wasn’t born yesterday, besides wrong person to do it on. I deal with clients on a daily basis trying to figure their next move. Cleanliness: Grade A, some areas looks painted over with little or no effort, passable though. Eats/Drinks: Large taro $ 2.99 w/grass jelly $.50 extra. Instead of me explaining everything that is wrong with it, I’ll cut it short and simple. Not worth the energy to go further. Drink came out less than a minute after paying. Tasted like flavored powder base just add water and shake it up. Probably with some kind of sweetener too. Flat and thin as water no volume and sweet. With plain grass jelly, it didn’t help at all. Consume less than 10 mins. With this drink, I can rest assure others are the same too. IMHO Quickly is even better. Main Features: Boba drinks, pandan waffles. Products/Services: Coffee/tea, fruit smoothies, boba, flavored tea drinks, milk tea, popping boba, jelly boba, egg puffs, Curry fish ball, pandan waffles, tropical fruit cups, sandwich, muffins, croissant, cookies, loyalty card, danishes/pastries. Coffee by Ultimate Java Specialty. Torani syrup, ice cream by Polly Ann. Punch Lines: Zippy service, plain décor, not busy, pushing for sale, quite bland, nothing special, not as great, run of mill, pricey for the offerings, gift shop, seats are minimal, family run, premade drinks, excelsior district, residential/business. Tradeoffs: Paying premium prices for boba, but you’ll eventually get premade powder drinks instead. Comes out quicker than you can finish checking you emails. Final Thoughts: From the outside looking in looks promising. However, windows plaster with colorful professional taken pictures are pretty enticing. Once you’re in, it’s a whole different ball game. Your dreams of having a cup, fill with out of this world ingredients is gone. What you will see is, a family very quiet. Almost to the point of not talking to each other. You’re left in there thinking, I’ve been had here. Anyways, if you absolutely must have a boba drink regardless of taste. Then this is your place. Just to let you know, there are four other within walking distances.

This place looks so good since it’s been reopened! They did a great job renovating it. The boba is delicious and reasonably priced. I love their smoothies and their ice cream is great as well! In terms of local places to get something sweet, this is definitely the best in the Excelsior, and a superior alternative to the chain offering nearby.

This boba shop is super clean inside. It’s probably the cleanest store I’ve seen on Mission street. Since it is grand opening, I understand they don’t have much stuff but everything is really clean and good and the service is amazing. They also have a gift shop in the back that is coming soon, can’t wait for it open! This place is a definitely must try!
