I didn’t realize that I had low dentist standards until I met Dr Loo. Seriously, she is THE best dentist I’ve ever had. No other dentist measures up!
Her office is absolutely beautiful. The interior and the view are to die for. It makes coming to the dentist much less daunting. Plus, her office is located in the heart of the city so after your visit, you can stroll around Union Square or head over to Westfield Mall.
I never liked going to the dentist but I don’t mind coming to see Dr Loo. Dr Loo is patient and thorough. She explains all the procedures to you so you’re not lost or confused about what exactly is going on. Dr Loo also gives very professional dental advice. She won’t try to pressure you into doing an expensive procedure if you don’t need to. She gives her honest opinion and helps you understand how to take the best care of your pearly whites. Making appointments are super easy and she even sends reminders so that you don’t accidentally miss an appointment.
Not only is Dr Loo exceptional, her assistants are, too! Its refreshing to walk into a dental office and feel so welcomed. All of her staff are phenomenal at what they do and try their best to make you feel comfortable.
It is clear that Dr Loo truly cares about all her patients and is passionate about her practice. I highly recommend Dr Loo to anyone who is looking for a quality professional dentist.

Dr. Loo of Urban Pacific Dental Associates is a newcomer to SF, but she is a breath of fresh air in the dental landscape of the City — and she can make your mouth feel fresh, too.
I met Dr. Loo at an event, shortly after she relocated here from New York. She mentioned she was in the process of setting up her practice, and I decided to try her as a patient.
I should probably mention here that I practically live in dentists’ offices. If needed more dental work, they should start charging me rent. Very unfair, I must say, considering I was denied sweets as a child… but I digress. My latest luck with San Francisco dentists has been sketchy. I can never tell if a dentist’s suggestions are really needed or dictated by his or her own commercial interests. Quality has varied, too… especially as related to the costs.
In that sense, Dr. Loo is very honest and open about your options. She will not press ultra expensive choices on you, unless you truly need it. So far, I have had several visits with Dr. Loo and it has always been an experience as pleasant as can be at a dentist’s — gentle touch, punctual, attentive. She is a perfectionist — something you want your dentist to be. She will not let you out of her chair until the last tiny protrusion in your crown or filling is smoothed out. But that is OK — the office is cozy and boasts sweeping views over Union Square and has some impressive photography. There is a choice of music. You practically feel at home. Five stars for Dr. Loo.
