Best burger in the hood! Tasty burgers, the best chocolate shakes around, solidy delicious fries — and those free homemade pickles. Love this place.

This place probably has the best burger I have ever had. It isn’t the most inexpensive but it is worth the price.

Burger: juicy and flavorful
Chicken sandwich: soft and tender
Garlic fries: packed with garlic flavor and melted cheese
I need to try the milk shake next time

Well, it was good. I am not ever going to be a loyal follower, but it was decent. Those garlic fries everyone raves about? Yeah, not a fan. But that is simply because I prefer my garlic cooked. Generally speaking, garlic fries from anywhere are loaded up with nearly raw garlic, which just does not taste good to me. But that is a personal preference.
If you’re a fan of gobs of raw garlic, these fries are for you. I got the mini (that’s a single burger by any other standards) with cheese & an egg. I was hoping for a runny yolk but didn’t get it, which means I could have done without it.
The homemade pickles are ok. I prefer my pickles with more kick, so that didn’t go as planned either.
And finally, I wanted a spiked chocolate shake, but we orders to go and you can’t take alcohol outside in SF. Seems odd considering half the town is walking down the street smoking pot.
Overall — meh. I prefer In & Out if I’m totally honest.

Vegetarian fed, Grade A Beef burgers! Doesn’t get better than this place I don’t think. My girlfriend and I decided to stop here on a whim before we headed back to Sac, and thought these were one of the best burger’s we’ve ever had in terms of beef and fresh produce. They have great ice cream here as well. Order a super with cheese and fried egg, you won’t be disappointed

I love me a burger and Super Duper might just be my favorite one.
Location and Parking: Parking is tough in this area. Market street is always busy and everything is meter parking. I usually park a block or two away at my secret parking spot. The actual place isn’t very big, but you should have no problem finding an open table. Worst case scenario, as you wait for your order tables will open up.
The Burger and Garlic Fries: Oh my it is AMAZING! I order the super burger which comes with two patties. They cook their patties medium rare and man it is tasty and juicy. Their homemade mayo is not for everyone, but I LOVE it. The bun sometimes may be a little too greasy but it’s toasted and delicious. Their Burger is simple but yet soooo good. You have to try it. The perfect compliment to a good burger, their garlic fries. They sprinkle some cheese on top and for some reason these garlic fries are like heaven to me every time lol There milkshakes and chocolate dip soft serve be on point as well. Don’t expect a fancy gourmet burger, but trust me this simple burger packs a punch of deliciousness.

BEST BURGERS EVER! I have never in my life tasted such a juicy, tasteful, perfect burger. I usually get the the super burger with cheese, and garlic fries, BEST GARLIC FRIES EVER! After eating those fries you are guaranteed to be stuck with garlic breathe for the rest of the day! So worth it!
Oh, and they also get 5 stars for their take-​out packaging. They place the burgers and fries in a foil pouch and by the time I get home, everything is still warm, just like eating at the restaurant.

My partner and I went here for dinner Saturday evening a little before 7 p.m. To my surprise, there was plenty of seating.
My partner had the burger with bacon, fries and a soda while I had a mini-​burger6 with blue cheese and fries and ice water.
My partner enjoyed his meal very much. I liked my meal. My only complaint is that the blue cheese was put on only a third of the burger so it was not sprinkled evenly.
For dessert, I had a kid’s vanilla soft ice cream cone, thinking it would be pretty small. It wasn’t, but I managed to eat the whole thing.
The service was good — prompt and friendly. I will be back again!

About once every week or so I have a craving for a burger. But only certain burgers satisfy that craving. This place has mastered it. I love the mini burger which is perfect sized and amazing fresh toppings. The bread is fresh, the meltiness of the cheese into the bread and onto the meat is great. Fries worth the calories. Good wines on tap. Good value. One of the best burgers in the city.

We came here due to a lot of great reviews. The service was nice, the facility was clean, and the presentation of the food was appetizing. The first bite was ok, but I could not finish this burger. It was beyond greasy! i had 4 napkins filled with grease, and the burger was still filled with oil and grease. This did not sit well with me or my boyfriend for the remainder of the night. It’s a shame, because this establishment reminded me of Burgerfi — which is my favorite burger joint!
if you like greasy– this is your place. If greasy is not your style– AVOID!

My experience at Super Duper Burgers was super duper!
Street parking… but it’s SF so you probably already knew that. We parked pretty far from Super Duper but it ended up working out because you get so hungry on the walk there, then you eat and get really full and it feels great to walk a little before getting back in your car.
You can’t really compare super duper to In n Out because well, it’s different! But both delicious in their own ways, depending on what kind of burger you’re craving :)
The staff are very friendly and helpful (asks you if it’s your first time trying super duper).
I ordered the mini burger with cheese, really wish I added an egg and jalapeño peppers in it! Next time I go, I’m going to do that. I also got garlic fries, and their vanilla malt shake.
This burger is so juicy and flavorful, and what really is the cherry on the top is their homemade pickles! I took a bite of the pickle after every bite of the burger. Mmmmmm!
Their garlic fries are delicious too, very garlic-​y just the way I like it.
I’m not usually a milkshake kind of girl, I prefer smoothies just because milkshakes make me so thirsty. BUT their vanilla malt shake… omg! It’s perfect. I would go back just for their milkshake. I got a little more upset the closer I was to finishing it.

My favorite burger spot! The burgers are so tasty, juicy and just the best. Their chicken sandwich is also very good and tastes very organic.
Their milkshakes are the best, if you are a pickle lover like me you will LOVE LOVE their pickles that they have available in a jar, the very best!!!
Parking can be very hard to find especially at particularly anytime of the day and on any given day.
Custom service us awesome, every cashier that has helped me has had the most awesome customer service. It’s a bite pricey, but it’s so worth eating here for the great quality of food you are getting.

Soooooo much better than that garbage they serve at In-​n-​Out. This is what a burger should taste like! Kept it simple with a mini with cheese and bacon, and it was simply delicious. The fries aren’t the best, but that burger is near perfection. Super duper burger indeed.

I went here after playing in a Sunday night basketball game to grab something slightly greasy because of all the calorie burning I did during my game. I found this place just walking around the city so decided to stop by.
Simplicity at its finest. Nothing over the top seasoned or special but a simple burger makes a good burger to me. All burgers are cooked medium so it tends to make the burger juicer and a little messy (I never complain about a messy burger). I ended up getting the super burger, which is 2 4oz patties and you have many options to dress your burger how you want to. I do recommend trying their super sauce, it is what they are known for and I think it tops the burger off. Also their shakes are really good and I did see several people just coming for the shakes.

Found this burger chain on Unilocal with the help of recommendations by fellow city friends. Great alternative to a restaurant burger with the fast-​casual environment. You probably know what you should get: burgers and fries.
The burger was nicely presented and fair to the palate. Be careful of how many patties you want: mini burger is one patty, and super burger is two patties. Customize your toppings are be the best by getting everything.
We ordered garlic fries. Fries are topped with garlic and shredded cheese. I wish the fries were actually tossed with the garlic for better flavor and taste.
Big plus: the pickles! Self-​serve.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a nightmare aka drive around and around for street parking.

What a great burger joint in middle of busy market street. The line was long, but the sign said the wait was only 5 – 8 minutes and they were right. It went by quickly. You order and pay at the register then find a seat and wait. I tried the homemade pickles, and they were not my favorite. Too much vinegar for my taste, but they were crispy and juicy.
I had the small burger with cheese and extra onions with their homemade mayo on the side. The burger was delicious, cooked a perfect medium, and nice toasted bun. The homemade mayo was great as well, not too thick and had good spices in it. I dipped the fries in there. A lot.
Oh my garlic goodness. I am pretty sure my breath is still kicking from those garlic fries, and I don’t care they were so good. I wish the white cheddar had melted a bit more, but it didn’t stop me from eating them all.

This location does not cower in the face of mayo.
They embrace all its potential goodness and glory and aren’t afraid to slather it on their burger.
To which I must say, true that. True that.
Burgers with that extra smidgen, or maybe a dollop, of mayo are so good that I’ve forgone the almost obligatory order of fries and now am ordering two burgers instead.
*Mind you, I make sure to get the regular size burgers so that I don’t come too dangerously close to being acutely doughy on the BMI scale from hell.
Moreover, this location doesn’t get too overly crowded (knock on wood) which means I can savor every delectable morsel of my burgers and not worry about the table vultures circling and waiting for me to leave.

Super? Hardly. More like greasy and overcooked.
On the menu wall there is a misleading sign that reads «our burgers are cooked medium and are very juicy… could be messy business!!» This sign should really read «our burgers are well done and soaked in grease… will be messy business!!»
That’s right, the burgers are soaked in grease, not juice, and there’s a big difference. That liquid film you see on your patty, buns, plate, and all else is not the juices from the meat itself, the patty is way too thin and overcooked for that to be the case. No, this liquid is from the grill/​place the meat is being cooked. It is either due to a large amount of oil being used, the chef deciding to pour oil on top of it while it is cooking for some odd reason, or, more likely, the stove/​grill is not cleaned.
So my burger came dripping wet in grease that clearly was not juice from the meat, and the patty itself was overcooked as well. It was well done, not medium. Honestly, if a chef at a burger joint doesn’t know how to cook a medium burger he should get another job. This isn’t rocket science.
The fries were good. I’ll give them that.
I would not come back here. The food is mediocre, getting your hands wet from greasy buns is gross, and my stomach was very upset after the experience.

Super Duper Burgers is super indeed. This is a fast casual restaurant, with a simple menu. Pick your burger, toppings, fries, shakes, and everything is made to order.
I went with the super burger with cheese + grilled onions, plus a side of garlic fries. The burger was cooked a perfect medium on the inside, with a nice crispy char on the edges. My fries had a generous pile of garlic, cheese, and parsley, and were so good, my friends couldn’t keep their grubby paws off of them.
Overall, everyone’s burgers were cooked perfectly, and the only complaint of the night was that they were out of vanilla soft serve.

Mon chéri ayant marre de la cuisine mexicaine proposée un peu trop souvent par sa copine américaine, il a décidé qu’on allait manger des burgers. Et olala quelle bonne idée! Si on était des San Franciscoans, on viendrait tout le temps chez Super Duper Burgers. Les burgers, frites, citronnade maison, pickles maison — tout envoyait du pâté! (Oui j’ai appris des expressions en français et j’en suis fière.) Ca valait le coup de faire la queue. Je recommande.

Cadre sobre et sympa… style industriel avec grand tableau noir pour annoncer la couleur… ici, né cherchez pas, le Burger est roi ! Si vous êtes européens, sachez que les «minis» sont des normaux pour nous, je n’ai même pas envie d’imaginer la taille des «super» :) ces ricains tout de même ! Viande cuite rosée, cheddar fondant, pain maison… et un peu de ce home pickles dont tout le monde parle ! Les frites aussi étaient bonnes, j’ai juste pas trouvé la mayo ! Bref, burger US j’ai gouté, je peux repartie tranquille…

Le mini burger est énorme ! J’y ai ajouté de l’avocat et c’était une petite tuerie… Avec des frites parfaitement cuite (mais un peu trop salées à mon goût) et un grand coca light (n’ayons pas peur des contradictions), c’est un repas parfait. Entendons nous bien: fat, mais parfait.
L’endroit est immense, on est mignon à côté avec nos mini burger joints parisiens !
Le service est nickel, survolté mais nickel, comme souvent aux Etats Unis.
Le pain est frais, la viande bien saignante et les accompagnements ont du goût et né sont pas là par hasard. Le tout est parfaitement équilibré et on a envie de crier: Yes ! Un bon burger !
