Peek is a great brand with well made, thoughtfully designed kids’ clothes that are stylish and modern without being overly cute. I come here fairly often(but not often enough to be «recognized» as a regular) to shop for unique gifts for my nieces and nephews and friends’ kids and my son. So I’ve been a fan for a while already. Recently, I became a mega fan when I had an issue(that ended up being my mistake) over a special order and Danielle could not have been more helpful, communicative and pleasant during our interactions over the course of several days. I wasn’t a VIP customer but she treated me as though I was and I am so impressed with the quality of customer service at this boutique in addition to the quality of the clothing. Thanks so much Danielle and team for all your hard work and friendliness and amazing customer service!

WOW! I was absolutely blown away by the customer service here. My baby, husband, and I were greeted as soon as we came in with ladies who kept chatting with my little girl. My darling was so thrilled, she kept gabbing away with them and throwing her cute smiles. I was thrilled because this is the first time we’ve experienced this good of a service at a children’s store. Prior to walking into Peek, we stopped by Sprout on Union St. where our only interaction with the sales person was behind the counter as she rang us up, and then not even a smile at Giggle. So I’m glad I ended my day at Peek. They also gave my daughter a small dinosaur to chew on which she was allowed to keep! Two thumbs up on service and on the adorable, high-quality clothes! You’re making loyal customers out of us!

I love this line for my kiddies. I usually purchase this brand from Nordstrom. Imagine my surprise when I was strolling down Chestnut street and found a whole store full of Peek clothing. They were having a great sale at the time I dropped by. By the way, they sell the best fitted jeans for my toddlers. I bought about 6 pairs at at about less than $ 23 each.

Walking past the old Peet’s on Chestnut St. over the weekend, I noticed a fun and bright new store for kids, and I was immediately lured in by the fun fashions and atypical vibe. One of the salespeople noticed my curiosity as I perused some tshirts at the front of the store, and asked me if I knew anything about them. Turns out, this is a small chain that specializes in high-quality children’s clothing. He explained their philosophy is to not«dumb-down» kids clothes with poor fabrics and otherwise crappy design(my words, not his). So if you’re reading this and going, «What do you mean? I LOVE Gymboree and all their dinosaur-and-princess-inspired lines!» then this is not the store for you. And you know what? Good thing — because everything inside costs a whole lot. That said, you get what you pay for. I went back the next day and bought some school clothes for my son. Everything is so soft, and there are either no tags, or very scratch-free ones for sensitive little ones. The styles look more like what my husband rocks out in(he’s pretty cool, thank you very much), but are still appropriate for the younger set. My one and only complaint is that I think some of the salespeople are a little over-zealous. Maybe it’s because the store just opened — maybe it’s because they work on commission — maybe it’s because they’re all dropping X in the back(I’m kidding). But the woman who ended up helping me, God bless her, she could not stop talking and showing me things. I’m a very confident shopper with a clear sense of what I like and what I dislike, and my attempts to very politely hint at «I got it, now let me be,» didn’t work at all(probably because I’m too nice and empathetic to the job of a Marina salesperson). I will definitely return, if for no reason other than the fact that they seem to have equal amounts of boys’ and girls’ clothing. Between this store and Bubble on Fillmore, Marina kids kinda have it goin’ on.

Grand opening today! I think this street is now complete for every parent… there’s an Apple, Jack and Janie, Starbucks, gap kids, giggle, benefit, Williams-Sonoma and now Peek. Not intending to go in because i only had an hour at the meter, I was drawn to the window display and couldn’t help but go in. The items are a fresh look, not preppy and definitely not cheap. I would definitely come back! I got a layering tee to see how the size fits and to check its durability. the only feedback i have for its clothes are that I prefer side buttons to allow the head to get thru more easily.
