I chose L2W for my first-time wakeboarding experience with me and a bunch of my girls. We didn’t know what to expect and we were all kinda scared, but after riding with Rick, he made us feel very comfortable. He even showed me a few tricks prior to going in the water and I got up my first time. He made it so memorable! He made it so much fun and I can’t wait to go again this summer! :) :)

I first learned about L2W back in 2005. My girlfriend at the time actually surprised me one weekend, and I have been addicted since. Ric is an incredible instructor who gives great lessons and will absolutely not give up and will get you up no matter what! There has never been a dull moment with Ric, you are always safe, and surrounded by great people, music and food! I definitely will always refer L2W to everyone out there who wants to learn how to wakeboard, or to those who are experienced wakeboarders or if you want to have fun at the delta! I cant wait to do it again this year! Im booked already :)

I can’t wait for wakeboarding season this year! Learn 2 Wakeboard truly provided me the best lesson-taking experience I’ve ever had(and trust me, I’ve taken a lot of lessons). We got to the Delta on a beautiful summer morning and our instructor(I think it was Rick?) was waiting there for us with the boat and forms ready. We were on the water really quickly and he helped both of us wakeboard for our first time. It was a blast– kind of like snowboarding, but on the water! He was friendly, mellow, and never seemed to be in a rush. We will definitely be back this summer… I’m not sure what the other negative reviews on here are about. My girlfriend and I had a great experience!

Ok mmhh, almost time to catch some sun… This brings back memories. My gf convinced me to try wakeboarding last summer with this company. It was just one guy taking us out on the boat. We started out with some wakeboarding, but later in the day(and a few beers later) the rather old instructor was pretty openly hitting on us! Hello, I paid $$$ for this class??? He also took photos of us and promised we would get copies. Where are my bikini shots? I never got them. So overall I will give one star for the ok wakeboarding. But the fact that the guy is certainly most interested in chicks in bikinis and having beers makes it a total scam and a bit creepy. I would suggest bringing a guy friend on board or choosing a better and more professional wakeboarding class altogether.

I called in about lessons a few weeks away and the person that called me was not only rude but sleazy too. From the start, he seemed to be in an a negative impatient mood – he was aggressive and tried pushing me to book within the same day. When I asked him if extra people could come in the boat, he seemed to get a bit annoyed. Then he started asking a lot of questions about each individual in my group. His reason was that he would have to pay for gas, so that may affect the price he quotes me. So he asked me how many guys and how many girls were coming, and which of those were the«extras». I told him half and half and girls would be extra. Then he asked me about the girls’ weight(okay), their height(huh?), and then their ethnicity(what!?). His exact words were«So, are they White, Asians, or what?» I then realized he wanted to know if I would bring what he considered attractive girls. I didn’t respond to that last question and quickly ended the conversation. He kept insisting«I need to know because of gas. You understand?» He must have said«You understand?» in a somewhat condescending tone about five times throughout our coversation. I’m still in disbelief how sleazy that guy was – I would have died of shame if I brought my friends to go wakeboarding with these people. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever be taught by those guys.
