Loved R&D kitchen! We had wonderful dips to start and then sushi and Thai salads. They were to die for! Also being in Nappa the wine selection was fantastic.

I ordered a paleo vanilla cake with maple cinnamon frosting and topped with fresh berries for my boyfriend’s birthday. To say guests were skeptical about a paleo cake would be an understatement, but everyone was singing its praises the moment they tasted it. Seriously, it was so damn good. And it was also easy working with them to order. Highly recommend!

Ordered these from Postmates last night. Could not believe the quality of the cookies! I make paleo cookies often, and have never been able to achieve the crispy outside. Wow– these are worth every penny and I’m craving the ones I have at home right now. 5 O’clock can’t come fast enough!

When I came to the 50 Fremont Farmer’s Market today during lunch, I had only intended to get a juice and maybe some greens. Instead, I walked away with 3 different pastries from Real Food Kitchen! Being a gluten and dairy-free girl, I know how difficult it is to bake gluten and dairy free desserts that still taste and resemble all the gluten and dairy-filled desserts. I’ve tried various combinations of coconut and almond flours and been somewhat successful, but I have yet to be as successful as Real Food Kitchen! What a treat. Granted, it’s a little bit pricey($ 10 for 4 medium sized cookies), but I want to support new businesses and shops like this one that provide me with delectable treats that I can actually eat! I picked up the Paleo Pumpkin Walnut Muffin, the Paleo Cinnamon Banana Muffin(I died on first bite, it was THAT good), and the Paleo Choco-Chip Cookies. SO good. Be sure to check them out!

FINALLY!!! Delicious PALEO desserts that are FARFROM bland and are SUPER delish and incredibly reasonable. I am a HUGE advocate for the Paleo diet, have been since I met Dr. Loren Cordain many years ago. It changed my life. I have attempted to make many recipes, but failed miserable and up until now nothing on the market had satisfied my craving, UNTIL I met Haneul. The lovely, sweet Paleo chef and owner of Real Food Kitchen. She seriously makes her desserts with love, I can taste it. ;) NOTHING is over $ 5 and she is genuinely the kindest person you will ever meet! Thank GOD she uses the finest ingredients, small batches of top quality ingredients, versus store-bought bulk ingredients. I seriously question Jess’ review, I have ordered from Real Food Kitchen religiously and have been nothing less than amazed at the taste. Yay! Thanks for bringing your awesomeness to SF!

Real Food Kitchen popped up at the 50 Fremont Farmer’s Market(Mondays), serving paleo friendly and gluten free and soy free baked goods — they argue to use the«highest quality ingredients» *nose in air*. TLDR: While everything tasted fresh and moist, it was on the expensive side for the size. I have no issue with spending money on food(clearly), but none of the pastries are especially good or differentiated. BETTEROPTIONS: Whole Cakes — call ahead for paleo items, Mariposa Baking, Whole Foods — flourless chocolate cake, and FlourChylde — everything is incredible! * PALEOBROWNIE($ 3) — 3.5STARS: The brownie is probably the best item on the menu, moist and chocolatey and you wouldn’t guess that it is paleo. Typically the best paleo/gluten free baked items are chocolate, and it’s because cocoa powder masks the almond flour/arrowroot/coconut oil. While this was a good dupe it was NOT worth $ 3. Flour Chylde makes an INCREDIBLE decadent, molten chocolate brownie-ish thing(check out the 22nd/Mission Farmers Market on Thursdays). If you don’t like an ooeygooey decadent brownie, I’d suggest Whole Cakes paleo chocolate cake which is super moist. * PALEOBANANABREADMUFFINS — 2STARS: Moist but bland and boring. Also, small and expensive. To their credit, it was moist? * PALEOVEGANCHOCOLATECHIPCOOKES — 1STAR: I’ve had all sorts of amazing paleo, vegan cookies. This one had a strange crumbly almond flour texture, as if the flour wasn’t blended properly and tasted heavily of coconut. I don’t dislike coconut, however it was a poor rendition of a chocolate chip cookie and I was not a fan of the texture or flavor. * PALEOPUMPKINWALNUTMUFFINS — 2.5STARS: Big chunks of walnuts set inside a moist pumpkin muffin. The ratio of walnuts to miniature muffin was odd, but it was better than the banana bread.

I had no intention of buying anything but my Soup Co. lunch today but then I saw this sign for«paleo» desserts. Intriguing, how do you make … anything good … with just paleo ingredients?! I tried the chocolate chip cookie(gluten free, vegan… delish, how is this possible!?!) and paleo pumpkin walnut muffin. For $ 5(reg. size muffin is $ 3), I ended up buying a package of four paleo pumpkin walnut muffin bites, which I said I would share when I got back to my office, but oops! there’s only one left … and I’m probably sharing that one with my mouth later too. Thought I’d spread the word since I don’t have any food left to share, shameshame. I’m totally coming back for more — found them at the 50 Fremont Farmer’s Market(on Monday around noon). You can just tell by the taste the ingredients are good quality. There were brownies and other muffin flavors, didn’t try them though I’m sure they’d be delicious too!

Real Food Kitchen bakes up absurdly tasty Paleo desserts. You can find them at the 50 Fremont Farmer’s market on Mondays and their phenomenal cookies and brownies are well worth making the trek for. Their chocolate brownies are superemely moist and decadent. Their Chocolate Chip cookies are not only Paleo — but also Vegan. Score! And each — according to true Paleo form — are sweetened with things such as maple syrup — instead of over processed sugar. The people behind this new bakery option are extremely kind and were eager to share their bakery samples when we were perusing their treats. We bought a brownie and a cookie and both were eaten as soon as we went back to the office. Crazy good! Trust.
