I have been going to Kimura for many years, back when Taiko and Rhea’s dad still ran the day to day operations. The family is the most gracious and patient. The sisters are always so cheerful and glad to see us when we come in. We have entrusted all of our art(photos, prints and other textile work) to their capable hands. Their artistic sensibilities are above par and we highly recommend them.

This is the place we trust for framing our favorite pieces of art. The Kimura sisters are artistic and incredibly helpful. They enthusiastically help us pick out the right frame for each artwork, and their finished products are of the highest quality and workmanship. Their father was an artist and they have been in this business for most of their lives — they love what they do.

Genki Desu ka Unilocal Tomodotchi… I love the sisters that own this business. They were born in Japan but come to the USA at 5 years old. They told me I know more about Japan than they do!!! hahahha Tell me something like that and I am your friend for life. So they are framing a Kwanzaa poster. I was telling them about my crazy Osaka penpal I used to have. He would send me boxes of Japanese clothing, books, CD’s, Toys, Food… etc. I dropped a few pieces off there. Immediately, one sister recognized one of the prints. She did not have time to go into detail… but I smell $$$$$$ You have to check out the Gallery. They have very nice delicate things for sale. Sake sets, Chopsticks, prints… I don’t blame thme for keeping the front door locked. Ocean Ave has crazy fools just like everyplace else. Check out the Kimura Sisters. Tell them Infodiva sent you. I love Kimura. You have to knock to get in. They sell alot of ukiyo-e but they have other prints too. It’s run by two sisters who inherited the place from their father. They are excellent framers. I take all my art there. They are very enthusiastic, patient and they always give my kid candy from their candy bowl. You’d never know this place was there unless you looked for it.
