After buying a bike and having it converted to an e-​bike that never really worked at another shop, I brought it to eBikeSF to solve my many issues. I would highly recommend this shop. Top quality work, real expertise, and quick turn around. If you are thinking of an electric bike, I strongly suggest going to an expert, not a shop that also does electric!

If you are an ebike enthusiast in the Bay Area this is the place to go. Ilia is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and is generous with advice for novice ebike builders. There are things here for different kinds of ebike riders, but the high power components and rock-​your-​socks-​off ebikes are all here, and good luck finding these things in other retail stores. Long life to the business and the owners!

Above and beyond. Thats the first thing that came to mind when I thought about reviewing my experience with EBikes SF. I spent over two months working closely with ilia and he built the electric bike specifically tailored to how I wanted it. Excellent customer service after the bike was finished too. I had problems transporting the bike on my car and ilia helped me find a solution. I highly recommend EBikes SF! You will not be disappointed.

This is one of San Francisco’s best kept secrets. I found this place because people keep talking about it with so much love on the EndlessSphere forums. I think they started as a mail order only company but have now set up shop on Ocean avenue in SF.
Every time I walk into this place I am greeted with a smile and all the answers to my questions. I have been building a electric bike with only a small budget. Even though this place deals in high end components, they are happy to help me find what I need in my price range.
What you get here is the best advice, the highest quality gear, and unquestionable support.
