these people are very annoying — they’ve solicited in my apartment building twice in the past 3 days. after the first time i called the office and told them, they said they would tell them to stop. 3 days later they’re solicitting again… very annoying.

While I am somewhat involved in the campaign to get John Avalos elected mayor, with all of my summer travelling, I was able to visit the headquarters for the first time today.
What a great vibe this space has. It is a large space that seems to go back for days. The walls are covered with campaign planning sheets and other signage that shows that people are not only working hard, but are excited about their work.
This is an organized grassroots movement and you can tell!
1750 will be command central for the campaign until the election on November 8th, so if you need a place to volunteer and/​or find out more information, this is the place to be.
