Went to the Yard at Mission Rock and I was eyeing the Señor Sisig truck, while the drunk munchies had my boyfriend checking out the fried chicken at Proposition Chicken. Since I got Sisig, I can only attest this review to a few bites of his fried chicken sandwich. After a few bites, I was regretting ordering from Señor because the chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. The only other places that does great fried chicken sandwich that I’ve had is either from Old World Food Truck or the previous chefs of Broken Record restaurant(probably now at Ricky Bobby). Move over colonel of KFC, this place does fried chicken right!

I just glimpsed«best food truck ever»(in caps) in a review below & I will second that notion. It is the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in sf after living here for 20-odd years. Perfect bread fried chick coleslaw ratio. Something else completely. Hats off to the chef. True to form: the fries, I’d argue, are the best fries in this entire food park. I wish this food truck was closer to my work.

The Yard is a pretty cool place. It doesn’t get super packed usually unless there’s a game going on. There’s a lot of seats near the food trucks but when the sun is out, you might not want to stay outside for too long. I was dying in the heat last time. Anyway, Proposition Chicken! I reallllllllllly liked their kale grilled chicken salad. Whatever lemon sauce dressing that was on it, made the salad. SOGOOD. The kale was chopped finely too so it wasn’t a chunk of rough kale sitting there(which I hate). The grilled chicken was kind of dry but the rest of the salad makes up for it. It’s hard to find a nice decent priced salad from a food truck so I’m happy I found this! I’ll be sure to come back to try everything else :)

BEST Food truck ever!!! This amazing truck was at The Yard in San Francisco by AT&T park. The AWESOME host was very knowledgable on the food and I basically asked what is the top seller and what was her favorite! She recommended a sandwich(I’m sorry I don’t remember the name, nothing really mattered after I took the first bite). When I got the sand which and took that first bite it was literally like a movie scene. Everything became silent and dimmed, with a light shining down from the heavens on this sandwich in my hand! Needless to say I devoured it! Not by myself because I actually shared the other half with my coworker! Throughout the day I kept on thinking about this amazing sandwich and finally I could not take it anymore and went back(I know I sound like a fat ass, but believe me you, I DONTCARE!!). So when I went back the host was like«your back!!!» and I was like«yes!!!» So at this point it was noisier and I thought I had order the same thing as before, however I guess I ordered the wrong thing because when she said«your order is ready!» I got a box. I didn’t think too much of it as I thought, wow maybe she hooked it up and gave me An extra little something… Then I opened the box, it literally felt like Christmas!!! So excited and then it felt like a catfish moment, when the profile picture was a completely different person when you meet them… It was a salad… A KALESALAD, as if to add insult to injury. I’m not a fan of kale, so my heart literally shattered to millions of pieces… I reached for the fork and thought well I’ll just eat the chicken… And then I went from broken hearted to the most AMAZING salad I had ever had!!! The kale tasted like heaven and the dressing was out of this world. The way they thought to put all these flavors into a salad is very well thought out, my taste buds had not only gotten front row tickets but a meat and great with what needs to be an icon of the food truck industry! I love this city because it has so many eateries and I have added a couple just a couple of food venues to what I call my «must chew» and I am happy to add this to my list! This will be one mistake I am okay with happening again! Thank you eat prop chicken food truck!

Pretty disappointed in this one. First off I would say the service here was really bad. We had just gotten done running our 5k and when we arrived here the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed there were so many people. He gave off a very lethargic kind of vibe and I could tell(since we’ve all had some kind of a crap job down the line) that he definitely would rather be anywhere else than here. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich and my Gf ordered the chicken tenders and fries and waited close to 15 minutes to receive it. No one seemed to be hustling in that truck. The chicken itself was very dry. I don’t know if this was an off day or something, but I wasn’t impressed. Overall, I see so many positive reviews I’m willing to give them another go to see if this was just a fluke!

The fried chicken sandwich is the bomb. It’s delicious. It’s perfectly sized. It’s everything you would want in grab and go form. Would like to check out the restaurant next time I’m there, but if you find yourself at the truck around town or after the Giants game definitely hit it up, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing, filling and tasty Kale/Chicken Salad! It’s hard to find Free Range Chicken offered anywhere near/in a baseball stadium so this was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Proposition Chicken for a superb lunch!

I was at The Yard after work to grab a bite to eat and kill time before the Giants game. I was torn between the salad with fried chicken or the sandwich. I went with the sandwich which was really great. It had great texture and flavor. I always look at the ratio of bread to meat and this one was perfect and was easy to eat while standing with my beer and enjoying the live music. Coming to The Yard is a great way to change it up if you’re tired of the same dishes at the ballpark.

In going to The Yard for the first time, it really made me wonder what’s taken me so long to pay here a visit. Normally stadium food(or nearby stadium food in this case) isn’t all that healthy, so when Proposition Chicken offered up a rotisserie grilled chicken salad option, I couldn’t be more excited! While most of my friends swear by the fried chicken option, I really enjoyed my salad. While I could also always use more chicken, and in the case of the salad, perhaps a little less cheese, I found myself thinking about getting a salad to go for later since I enjoyed so much. Come early on a game day and you’ll find yourself without having to fight through crowds and long lines! FYI you can bring your Proposition Chicken food items into the Anchor Steam bench area next door, so don’t be shy about bringing your food in to enjoy with some beers under umbrellas!

Delicious, and I usually shy away from food trucks! I ordered the kale salad with flipped chicken(dressing on the side). It was really good and just the right size. I’m glad I asked them to go light on the cheese because it was almost too oily for my taste. The service was quick, and we sat at one of the shared tables they have for all of the food trucks.

Yum. Went for lunch and was a bit duanted by the line… but it was worth it. I got the Fake Sandwich, my friends got the real one, and the salad. All 5 of us unanimously declared this truck a winner! The slaw in the fake sandwich is creamy and a nice cooler to the spicy /tangy tofu. I will definitely be back.

The Fried Chicken Sandwich is seizure-educing-good! Before every Giants game I scarf one down along with a few Beers to ease my spicy pallet. The combination of spicy fried chicken, the freshly baked roll, mayo and spicy slaw all congeal to make a real treat for the taste buds The Yard at Mission Rock is a great addition to AT&T Park. Before every Giants game I attend I like to hangout in the Anchor Steam Beer Garden with a double IPA and a Fried Chicken Sandwich from Proposition. «Hey, Hey we want some Posssssssseyyyyyy!»

Went to check out the Yard by ATT park on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to see my all-time favorite chicken restaurant, Proposition Chicken, was represented there. Just like the store, everything was great and the service was fast. Of course, they didn’t have they entire menu but they did have my favorite chicken sandwich. If you have not had their chicken sandwich, you have not lived! Fresh baked roll… fresh deep fried chicken… home made spicy slaw – it doesn’t get any better than this. In fact, my mouth is watering just writing this. I can’t wait for baseball season to start knowing that I finally have a great fresh food choice outside the park that I can bring in with me.

Proposition Chicken Food Truck is one of the food providers at the Yard at Mission Rock. didn’t take the time to figure out menu(6 free minutes on the meter). looked at strips with fries(9) or «proposition»(4 strips, 7) eats: 4 strips(7 + tax) –came out in minutes. –4 strips no bigger than my thumb, dry chewy –fries came with it too, already soggy, not crisp. –definitely a poor value take outs: –food past prime time, definitely been sitting around awhile. –sad hot priced food was such a let down. –didn’t see the whole beast till later, it’s in the same food area as anchor steam. –didn’t take time to read mumbo jumbo on left. of truck.
